That is very weird!
I like chocolate but it gives me heartburn.
I lived with my grandma in Georgia down next to the Okefenokee Swamp when I was a kid.
Learned to love grits, sweet tea, rice and pork gravy. Yummmm!

I like to have it hot, so it melts the sugar.

I love all of those!
And even sausage gravy on grits.
Peaches are good in oatmeal
Or bacon and pepper and butter on real grits!
Yum!

I had never had bacon with sweets before until this Summer.
Candied bacon yum!
I found out that bacon works in a weird coleslaw.
Shredded cabbage, miniature marshmallows, pecans or walnuts, raisins or currants, mayonnaise, shredded carrots, crushed pineapple, and bacon!

What sweets do you do with bacon?

Twice! Enjoy!

I hope I will be able to do Thanksgiving for us.
Been too ill the past few years.
Thought of going to the soup kitchen for us poor folk;
but am afraid of being around people and especially kids with bugs and literally bugs; like lice.
So we will do it here at home or wait and do it a few days after Thanksgiving.
Being about 1/4 or more Native American;
I feel weird about celebrating it; just like Columbus day.
Have always called it a harvest feast or turkey stuff yourself day or whatever.
