I think in my photobucket account I have the early season start of my mammoths and I will post a pic if I do. I know I never took one when they were in their full glory but will this summer

Got it! It was early summer.
I can tell by the trumpet vine in back ground. My little potting and plant area

I started the 3/4 lb bulbs in the green house in March and they only grew this much lol. But by end of season they were 6 feet tall and as wide.

jesstar, I would love to see your Santa Fe garden too!! It`s too early here for many blooms so the eyes are hungry for a flower feast.

How lovely!!! That's a magical little spot right there. Elephant ears are a fave plant of mine too. I had one at my old house. Love the drama of the majestic heart-shaped leaves. Especially when they grow really big like that one in your pic. Very pretty!

Yeah, I know, they shouldn`t be sitting on Grandma`s antique table so they`re off to the greenhouse. Wish us luck!

Each time I try to post on these garden thread with lots of pics, I keep getting the Oranum banner and get timed out grrr.

Anyhow, the elephant ears are holding steady. After a rough ride in shipping, it will take a few weeks to perk up but hope springs eternal!

I will post pics if my plants grow. We're always late with it, and I'm envying people who are getting to make salads out of the food in their own garden.

I just read the book A Dirty Life, and realized that I wouldn't last on a big farm. I still hope to get something out of my garden, though.

We just went through a nasty cold snap, including snow flurries so things have slowed down a bit in the garden.

A little sun and warmth and it`s off and running again

Strawberries almost ripened!

We are too!! It's been a very strange year weather wise up here. It was 80 in February and March, then freezing again, then rain and snow in April, May was in the 80s, now June has been in the 50s and pouring every day. LOL Gotta love Maine! The good thing is that all the flowers and the trees are blooming like mad! As the song goes "June is busting out all over!!"

Do you know what kind of flowering bush that is, Juni?

Also, I got Irises in my flower beds this year!! They didn't flower last year so I didn't realize we had them, but they are GORGEOUS!! Blazing purple ones the the little one must point out and smell every time we go outside LOL

Wild strawberries are ripe and ready for jamming

Ghani, what leaves I can see looks like azaleas . What Maine can grow Mi should be able too so I`m guessing.

My duckies are getting soooooo fat! Dr. Atkins was really on to something. Bread truly is fattening.

Randall, don`t kill them with kindness. There is a large amount of crappy things in store bought bread. Some corn or bird seed is a good option

I know I love doughnuts too but don`t eat a dozen a day... give `em bread but supplement with nutritional items as well
