Ooo Cosmos! One of my favorites!

I might plant something small as I plan on moving when my lease is up. Am thinking maybe a small herb garden. Though I love flowers, I learned my lesson at the last house, where I went crazy with planting - my water bill went through the roof!

And I didnt plan ahead enough. Someday I hope to have a bit of land of my own to plant a little dream garden, which will include many Moonflower vines

I like it when flowers "attack" when they take over a house or trellis.

The climbers are my favorites.

I'm sure they are there, just not easy to catch with the eye.

I've seen a few emerald green iridescent ones in my day. They are a breathtaking little sight to see.

Jewels with wings.

Oh T, I just have to laugh! I just weeded out my oriential poppies; mine are lacy white and orange. Then I purchased some mixed color California poppies for some annuals. I nicked my morning flower seeds & popped into water on the window sill for sprouting and put my hummer feeders together.

Great minds think alike

We only get the ruby throated hummers here but I get about 6 pairs which make babies so my feeders are buzzing all summer long.

Hummers arrive here around Mothers Day. Their arrival kicks off the spirit of summer for me.

I have 2 large feeders and one tube feeder. For small delicate looking birds, they are territorial and very agressive. They have an awesome arial dance of war when defensive.

I spotted my first two pink roses yesterday .I have three huge rosebushes surrounding my front doors . They make tons of lil pink roses.
My marigolds are sprouting out back in the garden. Some lovely little yellow and red wildflowers have lasted the winter and are blooming they are so so pretty.

The arrugula has taken over around the firepits ,its great .My strawberries are looking good being as i had to replant them this year (after seven years).

I am behind on my gardening due to unemployment .I did manage to plant my carrots and radishes on the full moon of good friday. mmm the radish sprouts are good .i planted easter radishes and purple, red and yellow carrots.

I pray to keep this house.times are tough. I must keep my head up I needed to read this thread today, thanks for the inspiration everyone. x0x0x0

I am sooo excited I can`t stand myself.

My exotic elephant ears arrived today

I grow the mammoths every year but this is my first exotics.

It isn`t exactly zone 4 planting type but I do love to cheat nature or help her along
