MOD Limerick:

There once was a Mod in a forum
Who's goal was to speak with decorum
He would measure his words
And then flight them like birds
for his guests...he took care not to bore 'em

Actually, I've never been much of a writer. And then I had a bad experience with my first husband which traumatized me as far as writing goes. I like limericks, though. They can be so silly that nobody really cares how they turn out. Even if nobody else gets them I can still chuckle to myself.

Here's an astrological limerick. I will let you guess the sign

There once was a selfish shellfish
Who only desired one wish
To hoard all of his food
and be in a good mood
But instead became a chef's dish

Oh, and here's one other limerick I remember writing down when my kids were little:

There once was a boy with a stutter
Not a clear word did he utter
His parents would say
He was born OK
But he sure loved to eat peanut butter

Yeah, poor thing... Individual survival dynamic flawed

How about two more Astro Limericks?
St. Patrick's Day is coming soon, after all...

There was a young lion whose potion
Like magic would bring pure devotion
Released to the crowd
By the Leo so proud
Brought waves of unbearable commotion

We happened to meet Sagittarius
Who's constant chatter, hilarious,
Kept us rolling for days
In a stupor of daze
Until we encountered Aquarius

Iibra limerick:

There was a young Libran named Laurie
Who viewed everything as just hunky-dory
She was not forewarned
That her mate, Capricorn
Would discount her ideal love story

In honor of Taurus:

The Taurus, persistent, next-door
Relentlessly trying to score
The girl of his dreams
Sexy in her teens
When undressed, was not all he had hoped-for

not important
you don't need to put reference

here's one to guess the sign:

Pierre was a guy with a stare
Who's glare would cause much disrepair
He'd back down only when
Threat of losing his den
Declared him as a soft teddy bear
