lioneye..what a nice topic..there is so much thing about scorpios. good or bad...
SOOOOO....I am scorpio but i am not close scorpio so much..because i afraid them..really.. especially scorpio men..
and of course we have passion,love,sadness...but i know that scorpio women are great..they are brilliant..and what ever they do they make best

Ah scorpio's, often feared, sometimes liked, rarely understood. Love em or hate em you usually can't ignore them!
For all their intensity and their rage and their revenge and their passion people forget one of the most amazing qualities they possess.
Their gentleness. No sign, and I even include pisces or cancer, has such a gentle quality when you catch scorpio in that mood.
My son has moon in scorpio and sometimes when he looks at me when he's completely calm, at ease and happy there is such a sweet gentleness about him. It's touching.
But hell, I know scorpio's can be ******** at times (and I speak AS one!!!) but it's worth it when they're gentle and they tell you everything will be alright because you just know it will.------------------

My gf has venus and mercury in scorpio. It's just about the most attractive placement ever  One of my best friends is also a scorpio (with a saturn opposition pluto aspect in his chart) who has had a difficult life and yet manages to stay positive. Not sure why there's so much negativity associated with this sign, although I have had a couple Scorp adversaries and they've done some nasty things. IP: Logged |

You know, I have never understood why Scorpios get a bad rap in the first place! Maybe it's because I have a scorpio ascend. as well as several planets/aster. in scorpio......... I don't know but my little brother is a Scorpio and most of my best friends in high school were scorpios (3 of them born on Halloween, which was cool). Some of the best people I know and work with are Scorpios. I can only think of one Scorpio I have a negative opinion of........
I love the sarcastic humor and the intelligence and the way they can see straight to the truth and cut through all the bulls@#%! Great problem solvers, too!IP: Logged |

I know this is a post for the other 11 signs to comment on scorpios but I think its a good place for scorpios to self analyze too. So here is a scorpios unbiased view on what we kick ass at (at least what I have seen from the scorpios I know and within myself)-we can self anaylze like no other sign
-move over geminis, we will give you a run for your money with facial expressions!
-no one appreciates alone time like we do
-no one appreciates an honest to goodness social connection(s) like we do
-good at expressing ourselves in writing.
-don't have to be the hottest person or cutest person in the room, there is something alluring about us
-Contrary to popular belief, we are not sex maniacs (I have been known to turn down a seductive advance/onslaught a few times) and actually have good sexual morals.
-we love to help the little guy (weather its a little kid or a person down and out).
-we may not care about as much as other signs but once we do find something we are likely more passionate about it than most signs are.
-this can be good or bad depending on circumstance, but hiding how we feel (good for poker, bad when its a girl who likes you (oops)
-we are good detectives, which can be both good and bad as well. Sometimes we get our selfs in to deep or find out information that we shouldn't have. And sometimes we use our findings in devious ways or the wrong way. But one of my favorite compliments was from a fellow scorpio who called me a good detective and was impressed by my skills. How about that!!!
-reading people. But sometimes we take it to far and draw our own (unfair conclusions). Message to scorpios (myself included): No one is an open book to the extent that we can figure them out and write them off (completely). We have to remember that any sign is capable of being deep and having things to hide. And everyone has those secrets that no ammount of scorpio like detective work will pry from that persons soul.
Sadly we have faults, me included, haha.
-temper
-stubborn
-over anaylze
-Some people accuse me of not caring or not making an effort to continue the friendship. Others are a little nicer and say I give off "I wanna be alone" vibes(<My friend nicole, a libra said that, but she seemed kinda nice and understanding about it) or "Do not disturb" vibes
-some people say I am over confident (far from the truth). My friend hailey (aries) said that if she didn't know me she'd think I didn't care about people when I walk by or wan't interested ih them. But also that I did not seem to give off an air of desperation as far as wanting a gf.
-some people say I lack confidence. Really its all in the situation and changes on a day to day basis. Some people say I look sad sometimes. Yes they are right some of those times (and I get annoyed sometimes when people are able to read me like that)..but all it takes is a warm heart and an open ear and a little bit of time and its all laughs.
-tends to glare/stare a little to much.

Hmmm...even if I like them, I never know quite whether to believe what they say...LOL. I had a brief encounter with a Scorpio recently whom I really, really liked, where the chemistry was fabulous, the physical attraction was incredible, he was relaxing to be with and he wanted me to live with him...but on the other hand, he was in trouble with the law, he asked me for money on our first date, the ants in his apartment brought me out in a rash, and I wasn't sure whether he was telling me the whole truth, even insofaras his NAME went!Like I said, I really, really liked him, he was gorgeous, but I had to let him go, because I didn't think I was ready to live with anyone again...too soon afer Mr. Aqua!!
