Topic: Say something NICE about Scorpios....

It has been unanimously decided that it's time to spread a little love around for the Scorpios in here, who sometimes may feel like there's no love for them in general. People either fear them, or hate them, or are just generally stressed out and confused about them. But the truth is, you're one of the most talked about signs there is, and quite often it's YOU Scorpios that bring people to this website, and to astrology in general. So, why all the discussion about Scorps? Because in general, YOU RAWK, and we all want a peice of that RAWK-ABILIY. But you don't comprimise your own values like so many of us do on a daily basis, and well, we're in awe of that for the most part. But that's only part of what makes you so fascinating and powerful. Well,if more people put a little more emphasis on there own foundations,instead of always blaming us for sh*t,that would be a start.We're really no different then any other sign,we reflect on others and in turn others have a little bit Scorpio within themselves as well. IP: Logged |

I love Scorps because... Never dated one, so no comment on that. Better yet, I gave birth to one.  and I have some wonderful friends that are Scorps.
Lets see, they`re Strong willed especially when beliefs are at stake. Honest to a fault, many times more info than I wanted 
Courageous, loyal, quick tempered & quicker to admit it. All I know are hard workers and not afraid of physical labor. They love the four leggeds and aquires deep loyality from them. I think Scorps are so physically handsome/pretty. Their eyes are beautiful and that mysterious grin can be maddening. They`re intriguing and a joy to have in any conversation. Ozone, Who blamed you for anything? Did someone say something in a thread? Let me know, I'll get them for you. LOL...just kidding, I mean I am a sag, I would trip on my way to the confrontation. Hee hee
I am kind of neutral when it comes to Scorpios. I have known many, and many different forms of the sign. Some of the better qualities are:
Loyal
Dedicated (when they decide they believe in the cause)
Intense
Smoldering passion I had a great friend that was a Scorp, he and I used to fight like cats and dogs. People would leave the room because of the fireworks..LOL..he was cute. We fought about everything. He decided his new calling was to be a liberal social worker, I'm conservative. He then dabbled in being an athiest, I am Lutheran. It is actually quite comical the way we fought. As it happened we did end up going out once after 3 years - we flirted tons and kissed a few times, but nothing big. He was intensly allergic to cats. I have cats and had cat dander on me (like you can ever get cat hair off ya). We were in the middle of making out....it was romantic...till he sneezed....and sneezed....and sneezed... needless to say..no more romance.  But we had a good laugh about it and went on our way. I still think about him sometimes though. He was damn handsome. IP: Logged |

I do notice that I do get along better with the other fixed signs then I do with any other sign. So that thing with the square facter in astrology,I don't really believe that in my own opinions.IP: Logged |

Yaaaayy 4 all scorpios!!!!
I must admit, its always exciting being a Scorpio and talking about astrology with people, its like;
"I love astrology, whats your sign?" Me.
"Cancer...whats yours?" My quiet friend.
"Scorpio."
"Gasp.." steps back and looks awed!!
I too don't like the way Scorpios are seen as the darkest of signs , there are grey lizards, and maybe bad Scorpios are worse than the bad side of the other signs
but that dosen't mean we are all like that.
I would describe the typical Scorpio as mysterious  strong, hardworking, lives life to the full outspoken  raw and passionate also about causes we belive in. Also very quick tempered and fiery  !!!

Hmmm, well, I never really thought of it that way, but I don't see eye to eye with many of the other mutable signs. I mean I do, until the crap hits the fan. Maybe that is the thing. Being fixed, or somewhat immobile allows you to appreciate the stubborness in another fixed sign, until you get into an argument or have a difference of opinion. Then the fight is on to change their mind or at least get your opinion heard. One thing that I do have a problem with, concerning some of the fixed signs, is trying to get them to listen to the other side of the story. It is one thing to hold fast to your convictions, it is quite another to hold a judgment, on false pretenses, and not listen to the other side of the case. In the other respect, I am sure many fixed signs look at us mutables and say "Man if they could only make up their minds and quit talking so much!" LOL IP: Logged |

Well Pidaua,so far,I'll be looking threw the threads from other forums and I'll see the threads only contain the more negative aspects of us then anything else. I see it more CUMMING from Geminis increasingly then ever,like as if they got some kind of vendetta against us or something!I don't know,if they weren't too busy playing "musical bedrooms" all the time and stay with they're own partners for once in a while,maybe they can see the Eagles in action and earn our RED WINGS! Yeah, I understand where you are coming from. I have seen it too. I think the Media (TV and Film) has so much to do with the stereotyping of Scorpios. They protray the Scorpion woman as being nothing more than a shrewd seductress without giving any props to her intellectual capacity, which is totally wrong. Then they make Scorpion men out to be power hungry soul stealers, without showing their lovingness towards family and loyalty towards friends. So, people feed into that. We get many newbies here that also subscribe to stereo types versus reading the posts or advice. It's sad because they lose out on getting to know the true nature about people and what they are about. Well, unless you are asking about Leo's. All those stereotypes are true. Just read these posts. Same with me and my Scorp buddy. We just pick right up wherever we left off. Usually it's comical and just stoopid. She's sooo friggen funny, though. I mean in a sarcastic and/or perverted way...oh, God, people take offence to her all the time, but they just don't "get" her. I do, believe me, I do. Needless to say,we do have our setbacks,but the repour of all of us scorpions is just so... well,it just blows me away. I just want(at times)to organize a Scorpio Civil Rights Movement or something (maybe call the org.:The Spiders from Mars & Pluto),whatever,it's just a thought!IP: Logged |

Actually, Ozone, I think someone already had a simular idea. I came across a website once, that was called "The Scorpion Club" or something like that. It was a members only type forum/club dealie, for which the only prerequisite for membership was that you have to be a Scorpio. It was actually kind of a spooky website too. All kinds of spooky skeleton images and stuff. And the narative of the author, or webmaster was very ummmm, how shall I say....classical Scorpionic (?). (ie, he seemed like an intense and kind of scary dude, but not to other Scorps I guess)One thing I've noticed about Scorps is quite often they marry other Scorps. I know of 3 Scorpio/Scorpio couples just off the top of my head. I don't think I know that many other same sign pairings. Actually, I can't even think of one. Yep, I've seen that, too - my Aunt and Uncle are both Scorps, and so was their eldest daughter.As for what I like about Scorps:
I haven't yet known one who couldn't immediately peer through whatever facade I had on for the moment, see, and say, "You're not such and such at all, you're really very softly feminine beneath it all..."
I've never been betrayed or bad mouthed by a Scorpio, nor have I ever been lied to - as long as you're forthright, honest, and true with them, they'll walk through fire and into a lion's den for you. But, then, I am a Fish w/ a Scorp Asc. - I've noticed that in "real life" Scorps tend to warm up to me quite quickly.
On a related note, I've never really seen them as the least bit intimidating. Moody and introspective sometimes, sure, but that just makes 'em interesting  IP: Logged |
