Topic: Which Signs say I Love you First?

Regardless of your sign...when you truly feel Love for someone (no doubts whatsoever)-it just comes out soooo EASILY!My family did not say 'I Love Yous' growing up and I was mystified. My 7th house Venus in Taurus is all about the Love...and it was something I eventually learned to be comfortable with saying. My Scorpio Rising keeps me from giving it away to just anyone....my Gemini Sun and Cancer Moon, Mercury showers it whenever I truly feel moved!!  IP: Logged |

I'm a Taurus Sun, Cancer Ascendant and Venus (all 1st house), and Leo Moon (2nd house). If I feel it, i'll have no problem saying it first. However, I have to feel that the other person is near or on the same level of feeling. Both of my most recent ex's, a Taurus Sun, Pisces rising, Taurus Venus, and a Virgo Sun, Capricorn rising, Leo Venus had to be challenged before they admitted it.
One ex, a Virgo Sun, Scorpio Rising, Pisces Venus felt very strongly in love, but would never admit it, no matter what. He preferred to show it by changing his approach with me... I was like wow, you're not being critical or bitchy, lol. IP: Logged |

I'm pretty sure it was pisces. I have a mars and midheaven in pisces and I remember his venus was the same, though you're probably correct it maybe could have been cancer. anyway, def. a secretive water sign and i'm just remembering it as a pisces. eh  IP: Logged |

Oh, those dreaded words: "I love you." I do not like saying those...not even to my family members. I have never been comfortable with emotions, in any situation.In my opinion, words are meaningless. The only thing that matter is that you feel it. You do not have to say/hear three little words to know that something special is there. Sun -- Libra 6th house

OceanicDreams, thats very interesting! One of my uncles is a Libra/Aries, and he also has Venus Conj. Mars I believe, but its in Libra. Hes very uncomfy saying the I love you thing also although he is very affectionate and compromising. And he will pay compliments rarely, but he will smile and glow with this positive aura if he likes something. If he doesnt he still has this silly smile while he proceeds to degrade  Ive always thought its so weird that hes so very passionate about politics, religion, philosophy, astrology even, but cant say I love you to his family or friends. But its k coz we all know who he loves and who he doesnt So youre right about it being felt. Personally Im a big believer that love can be communicated in several ways--even nonverbally....but the important thing is that it be COMMUNICATED, how is not important.  Love

Aries and Libra say it first in my experience..One Aries girl said it to me in 1 day! I was baffled... they say it quick but i dont think they fully mean it I NEVER say it first, neither do Cap ladies I have been involved with I also don't say it every 5 minutes, if i do say it my head always goes down avoiding eye contact, guess it makes me feel uncomfortable.. Saturn’s Child & Zohe, I must be one of your exceptions/minority Librans like OceanicDreams, because “I Love You” doesn’t come all that easily or quickly for me, and definitely not first, even with my Mars in the 1st house. Blue is right, it is a Libran tendency to be “in love with love” – but when it comes down to that truly indescribable connection with one person, that’s a different love than the love we Librans feel for “others” plural. GemStar and I grew up in the same type of familial atmosphere: no one SAID the “I Love You’s”, although there was ample demonstration of fondness between my parents. I was very affectionate and open as a child, and it was not always returned in equal measure, which caused me to pull back and internalize my feelings. I love my friends, and I sign off “Love,” here at the forum when responding to my special pals here and in emails to my buddies in the outside world, but “I Love You” doesn’t come quickly for me in a relationship with a man. I agree with Secret in that it’s more important that a deep love IS communicated, not HOW it’s communicated. It’s just me, but I don’t think saying it all the time cheapens the value of the word. This sad and crazy world needs more Love! ALL kinds of Love – Friendship Love, Romantic Love, Parental Love! But after all that is said, Love is a four-letter-word…… MORE LIFE!

i say i love you to my family everyday..but when it comes to a guy-girl relationship i only say it when i truly mean it..i don't like it when people say "i love you" when we've just met.sun taurus

i use the word love to express how i feel about material things and my interests but never people. part of me doesnt want to feel that committed because i love the freedom of being able to "love" whoever i want. however, when i finally do say it, its final and its real. for some reason i guess i take a lot of convincing. i could feel it from the first day but my head will lecture me until its gotten a list of pros and cons that allow me to completely succumb to that level.however i use the word hate more freely than we use running water.. sun scorp 1

I actually have a huge problem with the L word in relationships.... i never used to before. I mean yeah.... even though i never said i love u first, i always said it back. But looking back on it, i felt like every time i said it, it was purely a reciprocation and reassurance for the person...coz i felt guilty not saying it back..and after saying it..i d convince myself that I DO LOVE the person, then regret it l8r,,,and feel like it was a big illusion.So i stopped...and i actually formed a strict definition of LOVE...which since then no one has lived up to........and i think i over analysed it in my head,,,that the concept of LOVE for me now...is so OVER THOUGHt over analysed..and just CONFUSED! I'm currently in a relationship thats lasted for about 4 months.... and i find it the most comforting satisfying relationship i ve ever had...and for that reason i want to be 100% honest and genuine..and not just adapt to what my partner's like..( as usual)....So my partner has said the L word,,,and i havent said it back.... and i feel like its unfair to say I DONT LOVE U...coz i dont know what love is to begin with...and i might love him and be oblivious to it,,and i might not.... SO PLZZZZZZZ someone help me..... WHAT IS LOVE? WHAT IS THE THIN LINE BETWEEN INFATUATION AND LOVE? IS THE DEFINITION OF LOVE SUBJECTIVE? HOW DOES EACH OF U KNOW WHEN THEY RE IN LOVE?

Signs that will NOT say I love u first:Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn unless the person has wilted completely and shown absolute total devotion over time ... Signs that fall in love in heart beat and spur of the moment blurt out those words: Aries, Libra, Leo and UGH! Cancers, who fall in love every six months Saying I love you is so deep to me that I get unconfortable when long time when friends do it even thouugh I have cultivated great, endearing relationships .. Only say it to a few and when I say I mean it to the end of time ...
I dated an Aries that was like "I love You after like a month ... Red flags went up immediately

I know this is an old post but I thought I would reply to what CNO732 said about cancers falling in love every 3 months. I have to very much so disagree with that. I am a cancer but I also have my moon in cap...so it takes me a VERY long time to be in love...in fact I've only been in actual love maybe once...and I only realized it after the fact. So I don't fit the atypical mode of cancers. In fact most of us are very loyal and are really cautious of someone saying it too quickly as they could be insincere.

I'd say it first, primarily because I felt it. Being a scorpio rising, I know it's unhealthy to hide the truth. With my third house sun and moon in pisces though, the idea sometimes generates the feeling (I am somewhat psychosomatic); I also absorb others' ideas and feelings, so there lies a fine line between self-delusion, my own feelings and the impression of love. However, i'm sometimes too impulsive (venus aries) to take the time to discern the truth. In that respect, liberal use of the L word, for me, would make me think that the wielder is superficial and craving attention. Words are powerful; their appropriate & considerate use conveys the power and conviction of the feeling. It's in this instance that I appreciate my aqua mars nowadays, since it usually allows me to filter out the undesirable attachments, from a sense of detachment and independence of such ideas and feelings. I've actually only fallen in love once in my life (and I'm still in it right now). I agree that people with Aries venuses saying it too liberally. I am the same way. I barely say it and when I do it's only to my cat and other animals. I can't remember the last time I said it to any of my family members. I am never the first to say "I love you", in a relationship and get uncomfortable when people feel a need to be very sentimental and emotional. It usually makes me laugh because that's what I tend to do when I am uncomfortable or play the counselor since people always feel a need to tell me their problems like I should know any better.

Yeah, its also always been like pulling teeth to get me to say it. Its always been a struggle, even when I do love the person. I think I've stayed true to my cancer sun and ditched my gemini venus in this department. My boyfriend has stayed true to his scorpio sun and ditched his libra venus in this department too. Thankfully, he believes in sincerity and doesn't say it to many people very often. So I am assured that he is sincere when he says it to me.IP: Logged |
