Good now though, my deeper mind is like a detective of the undercurrent energys while my first House, Sag asc, Sag moon, Sag neptune is expressing a optimistic happy energy

Sun/Mars/Venus/Mercury all in 12th House in Aries here
great thread.
Def agree on the time needed to get away from it all, and unwind and gather my thoughts and feelings from the whole day. If I don't get that time, I get antsy and anxious.
Also the feeling of other people fearing us, or not really liking us as we come across strong is also present. I think its more of an energy that we bring, rather then something we intentionally do. Nonetheless its present. I am not sure if that comes from the 12th house alone, or my Sun Conjunction with ASC..that aspect, I have read, is pretty strong...

Venus- my experience- def challenging and prone to hidden affairs..
Mercury- a lil bit shy, although I push myself forward anyway. And the feeling of knowing things, the gut feeling...

I love my sag stellium in the 12th. It was not always that way.

I do meet people who want to squash me though. It's usually people who do not have a secure sense of who they are and think my style is so peachy. I have had women get close to me, dress like me, style their hair like mine and start to act like me. The whole time I am distancing myself ever so gently. Because I have attracted another Psycho! that could be my Pluto conjunct Midheaven.

I feel like my planets in the 12th require that I sleep a lot, but the rewards are immense (my planets are well aspected). My dreams give me insight, I have tons of creative inspiration. Most importantly I have been blessed with a clear connection to the divine. I practice being grateful for everything/person/experience in my life.

I pray often and pay forward kind deeds. I also work hard to not get entailed in nonsensical drama, or at least try to minimize it.

So sorry to hear about the entanglement with substances. Find a positive outlet for that energy. Maybe homebrewing, or wine making unless alcoholism was your issue. If that's the case then maybe learning about drugs mechanism of action and applying that to educating youths at risk.

I happen to work in pharma, drugs are my life in a very positive helping profession. Thank God!

Gah! Just saw this thread after I posted in the 12th Venus thread. Anyway, I have the NNode, Chiron, Sun, and Venus in the 12th. I have to agree with (and appreciate) what Blue Roamer said. I'll post here what I said in the Venus thread:

"Hello, new here, and I have to say I agree with:

"'Venus in the 12th house people usually see themselves as somewhat inaccessible romantically because we're very interested in our own world, and, depending on the spiritual development of the native, a transcendent realm of experience which can't be reached with any normal human relationship. Thus, what we're always truly seeking is a spiritual union with the divine. So, we feel dissatisfied with our relationships or even the state of humanity and human relationships in general. (hence suffering...we may even suffer for other people's bad relationships) We may not know the reason, because of course divine union is not an easy thing to obtain for the average human being. I also think that, in some ways, falling in love (regardless of whether or not they're taken) reminds us of the feeling we're actually searching for with God (or the universe, or whatever you want to call a higher force). Thus, unless we work towards a self-sufficiency and higher faith/union, we will fall in love with anyone who can stimulate that blissful feeling within us. But in human relations, for someone with 12th house venus, this effect tends to wear off. We're not really interested in conventional relationships because the taste of the divine dies after time and then we again feel lonely. "'

and

'"Venus in the twelfth house creates a strong desire for attachment that is almost ‘other worldly.’ Here, the native’s inner world of desire and longing take on a magical, ethereal quality. With Venus in your twelfth house you enjoy your alone time and dream of lofty love affairs that are lush with passion. You thirst for the perfect partner, the perfect creative outlet, the perfect scenario that allows you to feel as though you are as ONE. You have much compassion for those less fortunate than you are. Your affairs are in secret, just where you like to keep them. In the negative, you can become self-effacing and martyr-like. In the positive, you are extremely creative and passionate with a deep love for life and an intense appreciation of beauty."'

I have a 12th house Venus and Sun in Taurus.
As far as relationships, I've had one ldr, and we never met (met on internet, flaked out on me twice when it came to meeting) so I don't really count that one. The other one, and by faaar the most profound, is my soul connection; my divine complement, whom I met and (re)united with in spirit (was never with him when he was here) when he transitioned a few years ago. It's lead to a spiritual awakening, and he's actually the one that got me into astrology (started about 2 years ago), and is ultimately the reason I'm here. He also happens to be my guide. No one in my life really knows about this, so this could be the secretive/hidden aspect, I guess. Even if we had been together physically, it still would have been secretive...And it is indeed, precisely the type of union I'd always yearned for, I just wish we could have shared some time together (in the physical) here on earth as well...I have some understanding as to why that couldn't be though, but I don't think I will ever completely understand it (at least, not while I'm here).

The LDR was interracial/of a different cultual background, and he was also older than me (3 years, no big deal). My SC was 25 years older and of a different social status...So I guess those could be the "forbidden" or "taboo" things (8th and 12th house matters). Also plays into that whole "separation" thing...

I might also add that there is an ethereal quality in my art and music as well, and I tend to be dawn to those type of expressions just the same. I'm also very private, very independent, and very much the loner...Hard for people to understand...

And there is that thing about seeming invisible, or going unnoticed by others...And hidden gifts and traits (which my SC has been revealing to me) ...

My Venus is also opposite Pluto and Saturn, and Trine Neptune. Neptune is in the 7th house, with Jupiter near by in the 8th."

Also, there is also the (mutual) affinity for watery types, SC had a Pisces Moon, and I just love Pisces energy. Always have, which is weird because I only got into Astrology a couple years ago, yet I know that energy. The same with Cancers, and Scorpios, but esp. Pisces.

I also tend to be a real night owl, and the bits about psychic sensitivity are also true...Unfortunately, that was something that caused me a great deal of trouble back when I was in school...

What I would like to know more about is Chiron, and North Node (both Gemini) in 12th.

Thank You.

And the loneliness...didn't say much about that...
Yeah, that was an issue up until 4 years ago when my SC came to me (after he transitioned)...I've not felt that way since, but before that, it would get pretty bad at times (very painfully so). Esp. through out childhood. I was bullied relentlessly, both in and outside the home. It was just plain old abuse inside the home though.

Still a loner, still trying not to isolate my self so much, but I don't really get lonely anymore.

Well for me is quite like yours guys=)

I'm a leo 12th house sun and I can relate in things like, I love to be alone but at the same time I feel lonely. I love to be with myself and i'm not a person who talks much or shines a lot out there.
I think that for us, 12th house people, we are all realy spiritual and tend to be depressive since 12th house is full of neptune energy as piscis is the ruler of the 12th house.
So that's why maybe we might fall in the lower vibration of neptune sometimes that is when we tend to be self-pity or the "martyr" or we are atracct to alcoholics or people we can help.
I have a lot of that. And about the experience of being a 12th house Leo,I think that manifest in me when I dance. I always love to dance but let's say I just don't stand out. I'm always in the middle and deep inside me I really wanna shine but is like people don't notice me or me, myself i'm afraid of shine, like if I have the chance i'll freak out.

Hi,

I have mercury, Jupiter and Uranus in 12th and my sun is 1 degree from 12th in 11th but I have traits of both when it's concerned the sun. I recognize a lot: the recharging, the sleep, the need to be alone. I think the 12th house is a very spiritual house. I feel happy when I am in my 12th.

BlueRoamer:
The 12th house person must endure the suffering and pain of whatever placement is in that house. a 12th house moon, all the negative emotions etc etc.

--Not sure if you mean negative feelings from other or from ourselves but this rings true either way. I deal with the public often and find I have to isolate myself after dealing with people even if I have a positive time. I'm always exhausted emotionally from dealing with people and am sensitive to negative emotions from people. I can tell when people are unhappy and seem to absorb the negativity. Does anyone else experience this?

I have moon, chiron, North node and jupiter in 12th.(Cancer) I think the jupiter may save me.

I have pisces in the 12th and no pisces in the planetary system. I have big misunderstandings with Pisces suns. Not the women though. Pisces men I think. Sexually it's great too but romantically some ruffled feathers. I don't know though. I think it is my blind spot i was always made to feel weak for feeling. So need to be more emotionally open for myself. I like when other people are sensitive and very feely but i need to be okay with feeling more.

In the 12th house I have Sun, moon and Venus in Aqua and then Saturn, Mercury and Pallas in pisces.

I had an astrologer tell me I have all of this 12th house(and 8th) because im meant to become more spiritual in this lifetime, since in my past life(taurus 2nd house SN) I was overly concerned with money and wealth, and lived very superficially.

If I've done something really terrible in a past life(I do wonder)I don't know what that would be, don't know if I should want to remember.

a wonderful book called The 12th House by Karen Hamaker-Zondag. Jungian psychology, Fate, childhood and putting the 12th house in more positive and useful terms than generally available. I recommend to all 12th house planet people
