Thank you for clearing that up Alanabell, and frankly there is no room for that type of 'culture discrimination' on this thread. But i am tolerant of it, because i acknowledge that its a global reality. And unlike 'highly_inflammable', most people on this thread are able to recognize the different cultural standards of beauty, and understand that its as diverse as the ethnicities that inhabitate our planet. Let me break it down to you a little further. You acknowledge that the french are refined, and they are, according to Western standards of beauty, on the other hand, Miss Universie 2007 (Miss Japan) is beautiful based on the standards of beauty of the East. Africa and South America, are both 2 extraordinarily distinct, but ignored continents on our planet. I just have to say it, people like you are so ignorant, have no knowledge whatsoever about cultures beyond your own. So unsophisticated.
think of it this way: what continent has the most natural resources, that for years people from the west, including the french, have stripped it bear of its beauty and diamonds. Africa! Which means the people that inhabitat it are just as beautiful as the land itself. People are products of their own environment. (and also, the french tend to be inherently racist, and racism is simply not refined, its lack of humanity) ------------------ Virgo Rising 8'57, Sagittarius Sun/4thH 3'26, Pisces Moon/6thH 8'22 "Our passions are not too strong, they are too weak. Thank you! I mean what is this? Every century BUT the 21st? People have fought and sacrificed their lives to be treated with respect and regarded just as human as everyone else. AND STILL ARE..And yet, people like you have the nerve to come along and throw their causes to the wind with mindless criticisms or stupid jokes. Joke or not, like I said. I think you need to watch what you say...------------------ "I eat success for breakfast-- with skim milk!" Sagittarius AC, Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Leo

wht negetive way... ???? the only stereotyping tht is negetively done is by you. all I said is tht "race or color makes no difference it is the person and his attitude that matters"... if you wanna try and see something negetive in every written piece, thts your choice.. ... wht I do with my self and my hands is not your concern.. your advice is not only misplaced but completely irrelevant and un-necessary. I am clearing it up only for RACE for any basis of discrimination even for attraction/ to like or not,, is an idea beyond comprehension atleast for me. Every region has its own beauty and its own distinct appreciable good points... ... animal attraction is by no means a 'negetive comment'.. it does not make them animal and I have no intention of specie jumping. you didnt say animal attraction if you said that i wouldn't be ****** .
Clearly....
Don't undermine my intelligence. Either you clearly made a typographical error, I misunderstood what you meant cuz of the way it was written and I am NOT the only one, or you're just trying to cover up for yourself. Whatever, the case is. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here.
Due to your lack of stating "ATTRACTION" your comment came across as racist and insensitive. Now if I misunderstood your meaning, I apologize. But make no mistake, I stand by what I say...in case it had nothing to do with that and you're just trying to cover your own hindparts. IP: Logged |

Yes you did mention attitude. I never said you didn't but like I said... quote: an african is beautiful in an african deadly, dark and animal sort of way
There's no "attraction" in that anywhere. Note to you" Be more specific. And don't get it twisted.
Not jumping on you just because I'm oversensitive. Please understand that. I wouldn't waste my time. And I usually don't. ------------------ "I eat success for breakfast-- with skim milk!"

well,, I too stand for wht I have written though I wrote in a mellow way... so it will help to re-read what I wrote considering tht I wanted to say tht every part of the world and people living there tht I frequented,, I found them attractive and appealing regardless of how different they appeared. ... I dont even understand this attitude of categorising people on the place of birth and then grading them.... in my mind every contact is unique and beautiful as long as they have an inner beauty of strength and positive attitude. .... perhaps wht I wanted to put as generalisation as seen by people that I REJECT... it seemed/appeared as if I am narrating them..., I never meant to endorse it.. but, I wrote it as the typology done generally which I reject for it is completely BS and good to be dumped in bin. .... " an african is beautiful in an african deadly, dark and animal sort of way ""a french is more refined cultured, mannered and subtle undertone kinda attractive" more refined culture than who - the African? Are you saying that Africans dont have a refined culture? This is nonsence & boadering on racist. Can you explain what the comment "African deadly & animal kind of way mean?" As an African, I take offence to this comment, are we living in the dark ages here? IP: Logged |

Thanks for removing that statement. I read it, took it all in & it offended me, perhaps that wasn't your intent but that certainly was its effect. So thanks again IP: Logged |

I don't think it matters what you are. I think that it was just a little humor that was too brusque. In true Sagittarian fashion.I'll admit I was offended, and kind of am still by the statement. But I realize it wasn't made in a hurtful and ignorant context. All I ask is not that you write only what people like, but just keep in mind that what doesn't offend you doesn't always mean that it doesn't affect others.
Some people are very sensitive to things like that. I being one of them. But like I said, I realize intent is everything.
I read your post before and I've always known where you're coming from. I'm just upset with your delivery. But like I said. I'm over it. Too much racism in the past has made me very sensitive to race topics/comments in general.
I partially apologize for jumping down your throat, HI.

I know from friends that in the Açores and Madeira they love fish (alot of the former Portuguese settlers in Mozambique were from these two sets of Islands), so I take it your on the Portuguese mainland?? Yeah it was a great show, although I was a little annoyed with the way the portrayed Sailor Moon at times....being a child of the moon myself. But I will admit: when I'm hungry I eat like her! IP: Logged |

You so disappoint me... *shakes head.* Lol! Well all jests aside, that show had to be the pinnicle reason as to why I dislike anime; I know romance is good... but that show just destroys the whole concept of it. Anyway, ontopic: Offcourse I am a firm believer in interacial unions; If it weren\t for it, I wouldn't be here. My mom is Spanish and my dad is Middle Eastern and I seriously haven't seen a more happier union. Ironically, my mom wants me to settle down with someone from the Med. Lol! My Girlfriend is of Filipino/Spanish background and she is absolutely one of the most amazing people I have met (most Scorpios leave that impression on you Lol!) We are as cozzy as two Robins in a nest . Anyway, the whole talk of interacial unions reminds me of the little segment from Russel Peter's standup commedy act. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KR3wGlRcUKo Its unavoidable people ; The whole world is mixing. Race is such a push-button issue. LOL!! Interesting comments here, from "an african is beautiful in an african deadly, dark and animal sort of way" to "the french tend to be inherently racist." both stereotypes in my opinion.Anyhoo, my conjunction of moon and Venus sextiles Uranus, I have Chiron in Aquarius, and North Node in Sagg. I believe this accounts for the mutual attraction I share with people who are not from my own ethnic (black) background. I am still attracted to men of my own ethnic background, but men of other ethnicities tend to sweat me more. Most of my significant relationships have been with men who had what I consider positive Uranian qualities: independence of spirit, sense of adventure, tolerance of differences, unconventionality. None of them have been Sagg, though. I don't do well with Sagg men.
