Okay, here are some links regarding the Draco. I would love if we could discuss some of them, and maybe find a way to interprete them properly (what I wrote above was just a "shot in the dark"):

And there is this article:
DRACONIC ASTROLOGY
A LEGACY FROM AN ANCIENT PAST
By Patrizia Trotta
Draconic astrology is an interesting branch of astrology which is becoming increasingly popular. Let's try to understand what it's all about. All we know about it is that it was part of ancient Babylonian astrology techniques, but tracing its origins would be impossible. What we also know is that it was apparently used by Edgar Cayce himself in his readings; people who took the time to study them have found out that when given people's birth details, Cayce described under hypnosis their personality and characteristics as seen from the draconic level of their astrological charts, rather than the tropical. For this reason, Draconic Astrology seems to have a "spiritual flavour", describing people's inner nature and the "soul personality", integrating the more psychological indications found in a chart.
Draconic astrology uses a zodiac beginning at the Moon's North Node (Nodal Zodiac), which is treated as 0 Aries. This new nodal zodiac is not really different or obscure. In fact, it is probably easier to interpret as it tends to express the higher and purer principles of signs, aspects and houses, so no sweat! The astrology you know with traditional meanings of signs, aspects and houses is all you need. "Why use a draconic chart" you might ask? Because:
1) It may show how we developed in previous incarnations and therefore our soul qualities
2) It could also show the ideal to be reached by the Higher Self, in other words the "soul blueprint" and the Higher Self's intentions for the present incarnation
Cool stuff! What is really interesting is that if we compare the tropical and draconic levels in a horoscope, we will find that certain life-themes will be indicated/repeated with great clarity. The links to watch out for between tropical and draconic levels are conjunctions and oppositions, as they tend to indicate what the soul should focus on and develop to evolve during the present incarnation. What I have also noticed for practical purposes is how revealing the placements of draconic Sun, Moon and Ascendant are (by sign and natal house), as they seem to give clues to the quality of a person's emotional body, his/her "hidden, real self".
THE EMOTIONAL BODY
What is an emotional body? According to our "subtle anatomy", we are made up of different "energy layers" called physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. The spiritual body is very powerful, it feeds all the other layers of our being and is the one that vibrates faster, while the emotional body seems to vibrate at a rather slow frequency, seemingly being addicted to unproductive emotions such as fear, anger, worry, etc. In fact, in order to further the development of our minds in the past century, we have chosen to ignore our more feeling nature and we have consequently been left with a seriously underdeveloped emotional body which needs a lot of healing. In short, we might have wonderful technology which allows us to live better and longer but we are certainly "emotionally backward".
To make matters worse, we are plagued by various FEARS - many induced to keep us under control - through beliefs of scarcity, need for security which too often translates as fear of change, false expectations, hypocritical morals and values, all of which end up sapping our vitality and stifling our creativity and growth. Rapture and bliss are seldom part of our everyday emotional scenarios - stress, anxiety and fear are sadly more frequent visitors, aren't they? There is little doubt - we do need to evolve our emotional body to evolve ourselves. How do we go about doing that? Partly the "New Age" way - we need exposure to our own spiritual energies from the Higher Self through meditation, deep breathing, crystals, herbal remedies, or any other method one prefers.
Wise men from all ages and nationalities have been teaching that we are Gods in the making, that time is an illusion, that we have enormous creative powers and that in being incarnate we are heading towards perfection; they also teach that we can live and grow through joy and bliss, rather than pain and fear. So maybe the time has come for us to start listening to them! Could it be that a childlike attitude of playfulness, simply taking a moment to listen to our inner voice before making any decision and learning to trust our inner guidance, could be very good ways to speed up our evolution, after all? While positive role models are certainly needed for humanity to develop in this direction, relying on other people, leaders or teachers, is becoming less relevant and necessary in the 21st century.
It seems to me that what we really need as a new, growing race is to embrace our own real power and potential and become all that we can be by AWAKENING OUR FEARLESS SELF. In short, in order to evolve our emotional body and survive on our planet, we will have to learn to vibrate faster and thus embrace our multidimensionality.
"WINDOWS TO THE SKY"
Draconic astrology opens windows on other, subtler dimensions of our being, reflecting the multidimensionality many of us are beginning to claim as our "real Self". Because Draconic astrology gives clues to our Higher Self and its guidance, it potentially complements the more common Tropical astrology exquisitely well. The easiest and clearest way to gain a fuller picture of a person's potential is to place draconic positions around the Tropical birth planets in a bi-wheel chart and, as stated above, observe connections and links between these levels, the most powerful being conjunctions and oppositions, particularly to the angles.
In this article, I'll be using the chart of a well-known actress/performer/writer/dancer to show how a simple application of this method can help the astrologer understand the dynamics of the Nodal zodiac and its potential. Before we begin, here is how to calculate Draconic positions: all you need to do is to subtract the longitude of your North Node from each planet's and angle's longitude. The easiest way is to convert all positions to ABSOLUTE LONGITUDE first, which is their position in the 360º circle (i.e. 0º Aries=0º ; 0º Taurus=30º ; 0º Gemini=60º etc. In this way, for example, natal Sun at 11º 30' Gemini will become 71º 30' in absolute longitude and natal Moon at 20º 15' Scorpio will translate as 230º 15' in absolute longitude). Of course, with a good computer program your Draconic chart is only a "click" away - calculating it by hand is just a bit more lengthy, but not really difficult. Here is a conversion table to help you:
0º Aries = 0º
0º Taurus = 30º
0º Gemini = 60º
0º Cancer = 90º
0º Leo = 120º
0º Virgo = 150º
0º Libra = 180º
0º Scorpio = 210º
0º Sagittarius = 240º
0º Capricorn = 270º
0º Aquarius = 300º
0º Pisces = 330º
Once you have your draconic positions, you might want to write them in a different colour round your natal chart and note any Draco planets on natal angles, and any powerful aspects formed to natal planets. Almost always, you will find that important life themes will become evident. Note also the signs (and natal houses) that draconic Sun, Moon and Ascendant occupy, as they are usually very revealing and indicate hidden/unconscious talents or tendencies, as well as important areas of growth in this lifetime. A practical example is now needed to clarify the principles described above.
SHIRLEY MACLAINE
Details: dr.Moon/Neptune conjunct Jupiter, opposition Mercury; dr.Jupiter opposition Chiron; dr.Saturn conjunct Mercury, opposition Jupiter; dr.Venus conjunct Uranus, Mars and Sun; dr.Mercury conjunct Chiron; dr.Chiron conjunct Pluto; dr.Pluto conjunct Moon and Neptune, opposition Venus; dr.Sun in Gemini in the 9th house; dr.Moon in Libra in the first house and dr.Asc. in Scorpio in the second house.
As most of you will know, this well-known and popular Hollywood actress wrote a series of very readable books in the '80s based on her personal experiences in the realms of metaphysics and New Age, contributing to the popularity of their concepts today.
From her books and Hollywood gossip, we know that her love life has always been intense and rather "stormy" (dr. Venus conjunct Uranus, Mars and Sun). Her natal chart indicates that through intense relationships and the occult she would be totally transformed (8th house emphasised and outer planets prominent). Her Draconic chart confirms this tendency through Scorpio Ascendant (transformation) in the second house of values, a prominent Venus and intense Pluto in aspect to natal Moon and Venus - her feminine self needs to be transformed totally in this incarnation, not without trauma at times, in order to eliminate, refine and transmute unproductive attitudes. With such a strong Pluto the themes of abandonment, control and power have been at the basis of every difficult situation or relationship in her life, destined therefore to teach her the most important lessons orchestrated for her by her Higher Self, but with the promise of potential purification and rebirth.
Shirley MacLaine has a considerable ego, a strong personality and iron will. Balancing her male and female sides, finding a compromise between her needs and those of her partners (dr. Moon in Libra) have been very important "tasks" assigned by her Higher Self, and obviously needed for her soul-growth. Mercury in inter-aspect with Neptune, Saturn and Chiron indicates that her mind is very active and disciplined, but also capable of channelling her strong intuition and creativity. Shirley MacLaine is certainly a rational, business-like Taurean lady, but she is also known for her inspired thoughts - the combination of logic and intuition has enabled her to explore uncharted territories of the human dimension, without losing sight of her discernment and practicality.
Jupiter is prominent and very active, too. She has always liked to be unencumbered and free, craving to learn about different realities and broaden her horizons, which has resulted in many travels to foreign countries and her constant search for higher philosophies and the study of metaphysical principles. This fascinating and eclectic actress has always displayed a fighting spirit and a strong sense of justice. In her life she has been politically active (another expression of Jupiter), fighting for equality and for women's rights (strong Uranus and dr. Moon in Libra), and in a more recent past her eternal quest for the meaning and purpose of life led her to research various fields, such as quantum physics, holistic therapies, metaphysics and the occult, trying to find a link among these disciplines, which she then communicated through her books. Several draconic planets in her 9th house, Sun included, emphasise her inner need to explore and her drive to find "the truth", while her draco Sun in Gemini describes exceedingly well how learning, knowing, experiencing, pushing beyond the limits of accepted reality and communicating with versatility would be fundamental themes/tasks necessary for her own personal and spiritual growth.
The above brief example was only meant to offer ideas and maybe guidelines as to possible uses of Draconic Astrology. I believe that to optimise the information gleaned through marrying draconic/tropical charts, you will need to make room for intuition and inspiration, as well as applying astro-logic. As more and more people awaken to their multidimensionality, the "new astrologers" are likely to have an important part to play in the healing of emotions on a global scale, and Draconic Astrology might just be what we need to help people (and ourselves) heal their emotions and regain their power by integrating their unconscious, multidimensional, Cosmic Self.
I truly hope that this wonderful legacy from an ancient past has something to offer you. If you are curious and have the courage to explore your real Self for the greatest of adventures, maybe you'll be able to find many inner treasures still unexplored. And - who knows? - maybe with the help of Draconic Astrology you will even be able to find a few more pieces of the Grand Cosmic Puzzle of your own life. I wish you all a splendid "Multidimensional Treasure Hunt" that leads you to your own Cosmic heritage.
