Hi Greenfairy, I also think that the MC conjunctions act like secondary Saturn conjunctions, but I don't know if the strength is the same...I'm also curious about the mc and it's role in synastry, this theory is something i "feel" is true, but I haven't read anything about it. What were your experiences? Can we substitute the saturn-whichever planet it conjuncts, for the mc interpretation or not? IP: Logged |

evander - To me the Mars square energizes that stellium of yours. It indicates it's a part of yourself that you're especially meant to express. It could bring a temper, but it's fortunately also sextiled by your Venus. That indicates that you have the choice to express that stellium beautifully, in a way that maintains harmony with others. Excellent news that it trines his Sun and Venus--he genuinely likes that part of you.maira - I've given some thought to the MC in synastry. I think it indicates that the MC person ADMIRES and TRUSTS the planet person. They admire them because their MC represents what they consider the best way to express one's self in the world. And they trust them because they know that they can rely on the planet person to express themselves in that way they admire. So if Venus is on the other person's MC, the MC person will admire the other person's Venus. Venus can mean a few things--values, beauty, flirting, social relationships, etc.--so the MC person can admire any and all of those things about the Venus person. But it's deeper than simple admiration. The MC person will feel comforted right down to their IC. Their IC will trust that the Venus person will consistently display the Venus traits that feel right to them. IP: Logged | |
