The date went incredibly well, and we are officially "an item" whoooopppphhheeeeeee!!!!! IP: Logged |

How fitting for Venus and Jupiter on ASC. Congratulations, etoile, these are great news. IP: Logged |

Both Jupiter/Mercury and Pluto/Venus are semi sextile to each other in the sky today and also a day or two more. This seems likely to be good for a 1st meeting if Sag/Gem or Scorpio/Taurus is on ASC.That is if 1st meeting charts has any validity. IP: Logged |

quote: Interesting. All of these meeting charts have the ruler of an angle in an angular house, often it will be the 7th.Also, all of these charts have the TRUE NODE aspecting an angle (including inconjuncts).
Good eye, dd. I have another fmc that also conforms to that trend. It's with one of my best friends. This amazes me. I used to disbelieve in fmc. It didn't make sense to me how I could share the same fmc with multiple people, yet only one of them would be someone who would become a very important person in my life. Like with that fmc I posted with a best friend of mine. I met her during lunch, on the 1st day of 10th grade. There were at least 3 other people I met for the first time at that same moment, yet she was the only one who became special to me. So I didn't think a fmc meant anything, if I could have the same chart with the vip's in my life as I did with people who never made a significant impact. I realize I was looking at it wrong. It's not the moment that creates the strong friendship/love, etc. If the person isn't someone important to me, no fmc can create that importance. But someone who is important to me, will come into my life at a time when the fmc reflects his or her importance. IP: Logged |

Jane,"But someone who is important to me, will come into my life at a time when the fmc reflects his or her importance." Beautifully put my friend. I also used to be a disbeliever in first meeting charts, but they really seem to reflect the importantce of a meeting; but I wouldn`t take them just on their own, but always tie them back to the natals.

we are getting married june 14th 2009. this is our first meeting chart. seems to me it might be more telling to compare to each natal. any opinions? IP: Logged |

It would definitely make sense to compare it to each natal to see what impact that meeting made on each of you. But since you are getting married, it must have been pretty mutual. IP: Logged |

Look at your composite and progressed composite SUNSHINE, they say that vertex on DC is a very fated relationship that often leads to marriage IP: Logged |

WEll, actually I can`t confirm that Vertex on the DSC leads to marriage. What it most likely signifies, is an encounter that will change your life in some way. The Vertex is a "turning point", but it doesn`t guarantee "ever happily after" or "all eternity". It can be only one moment that turns your life around. Or the span of your whole life. Both is possible. About the marriage thing we would have to do a research to confirm that.

Here`s the first meeting chart of someone I met last year.
The ASC falls exactly onto my NN and conjuncts his Mercury, ruler of his DSC.
Antivertex is conjunct his Venus and Vertex is conjunct my Destinn and Vertex. DSC and Eros conjunct my Kaali and his Isis. Juno falls on my Sun and Mercury and his Sun and Moon. Moon - Pluto - conjunction also widely conjuncts both Sun`s. Chiron-Neptune-NN falls onto (his Psyche conjunct my Psyche). IP: Logged |

Whom did you use for your research? How many charts did you look at? Did you only look at composite, progressed composites or also synastries?IP: Logged |

I'm kinda just jumpin' in here, but.. i remember my ex and I had the BEST first date ever!! It was magical, like we'd known each other forever, the attraction was INTENSE, we just couldn't keep our eyes off each other, and I felt we connected on so many levels.. The communication between us was incredible, too.. Anyway, now I'm just gabbing away.. Point is.. I was wondering if any of this shows in our first date chart, and since i'm sorta new to this, I'm gonna leave it to you guys to do a little analyzing.. would you please read my chart and tell me what you think? Thank you guys so much! here it is: IP: Logged |

Yes, absolutely, the natals are pivotal. I am amazed though by how the fmc, as an independent chart, has significant placements, like the Node and angle ruler details you noticed. IP: Logged |

october - I'd be interested in seeing the chart if you'd like to give it another try.sunshine - Congrats! lara - I just looked, and my SO & I also have vertex cnj the dsc in our progressed comp. It's wide though. We were supposed to be married by now, but life got in the way and there was a change of plans. Ha, I guess if the cnj were more narrow we'd be married. We also have the NN cnj the vertex and more narrowly cnj the dsc. dd- I've also noticed the vertex being involved in life changing moments. I think whatever it is that's cnj the vertex--dsc, Saturn, etc.--characterizes the life change. I agree that it doesn't promise a permanent situation, but instead a permanent change. That is, someone's Saturn on your vertex in synastry will ignite your more serious side. That change will be permanent inside of you, but that person may or may not remain a permanent part of your life. IP: Logged |
