I have been wondering what it is that keeps a Cappy really into you...I don't have any experience as far as romance goes with this sun sign, they seem aloof but passionate when inspired. With all the planets I have in Cancer it almost feels like being around an opposite. Any advice/suggestions would be great!

Although seperated, I've been married to a Cappie for 20 years.
I'll tell you whatever you want to know, but I have to come back to this because something just came up and I need to go for a little bit. To be Con't!

Hi Gypsee, 20 years is pretty good experience with Capricorn lol! What turns them on and what are serious no no's with them? It isn't very often I feel attracted to them, but man this one Capricorn is just wow! I don't know if there is a difference or not, but he's a late degree Capricorn. I've been out with him already, but it doesn't seem like there is much
interest on his end.

Did you get a second date? Then he's interested.

Cappies can be very aloof. I think they do more action than talking when it comes to expressing their interest.

Ha, well, they are not real big on showing emotions, like ever.

You will have to do the guess work most of the time.

Randall should know about the second date thing better than I would, since he is a cappy.

My particular cappy was never a serial dater, and will tell you that he's had a serious girlfriend since he was old enough to date. (then complains bitterly that he's never had 'the single life' but that's another story).

I think Cancer and Cap is a great match.

Cap's are into their homes, as in wherever they are living.
A good portion of them don't go far from where they even grew up, especially if they still have family there. Read (MOM) cough cough.

Anyway, you being a Cancer would provide the homey, domestic stuff that makes them feel secure.
They have to feel secure in a relationship or they are just miserable.
AND appreciated, they must be appreciated.

I can tell you all of this because after it was all said and done, this is the stuff that my husband said I did wrong.
Didn't make him feel appreciated or secure.

However, I do remember years of gushing at the mouth, writing love poems and such, with barely a reply back.
I did mention that.
And he said, well, a version of the 'can't show emotion but that doesn't mean I didn't like it' thing.

SOOOO, if a Cap wants you, you'll probably know it. They may move slow but they usually have a plan in mind. And if they want you prepare to be got! Nothing deters them once they decide.
Trust me there, I am a Sag, and I RAN, RAN, RAN, and he just waited, waited, waited, until I exhausted myself and needed a secure place to fall.
Which they are good at. The always being there for you thing.

Turn ons and turn offs. Hmm, what are his other placements do you know?

Well I guess if they aren't to keen on showing emotions, then I guess me being really emotional might be a put off lol? He's talked to me since, but no second date, that's why I was wondering. And the thing is I wanted him the second I saw him, I mean the attraction on my end is really strong. Mabe I was just too upfront about it...I wish he wanted me bad too grrrr.

He has-

Sun in Capricorn
Mercury in Capricorn
Moon in Libra
Mars in Scorpio
Venus in Sag
Jupiter in Sag
Neptune in Sag
Pluto in Libra
Uranus in Libra

Hmm, ok, well merc in cap is gonna make speaking with emotion or speaking ABOUT emotions a difficult thing.

Venus in Sag, AG, WHERE ARE YOU?? lol. I have this placement and so does my sometimes SO (not the cap, the cap has venus/cap, which is another problem) anyway, with a firey venus I would say that in theory he should come to you. (note, IN THEORY, LOL)
Don't believe everything you read because it's going to tell you that Venus Sag is a player aspect, and that isn't necessarily true, ALTHOUGH, it does make one harder to pin down.
I have to scroll to remember what else you wrote. Hang on...

OK, Libra Moon, I have this as well.
Are you sure he is single? Like postively positive? Having this placement makes one loathe being alone and also.. how do I explain this... Libra Moon people seem to have alot going on in terms of relationships. As in they aren't all the way finished, there is some lingering business, they still have feelings for someone, etc. etc.

I would check into that as thoroughly as you can before you get too involved emotionally.

Sigh, Mars in Scorpio. I wish I would of listened to someones opinion on this placement before. I think it definetly makes for a sexy guy, but watch out for the head games.

Anyway, I don't think that you being emotional would turn off a capricorn, per se, I think they may secretly envy those that can relate to their emotions.
However, they do have great BS meters and would probably be suspicious of anyone being overly emotional too soon. But since you really feel the way you feel, no worries there.

You don't know the asc?
That would help to see how he is going to act.

But just looking at the others, I think you may HAVE to do the majority of the pursuing. He may be a tad insecure and/or have difficulty making decisions and with that maybe alot of things get past him because he waits too long, thereby only reinforcing any insecurities that he MAY have.

Keeping in mind that I am just formulating an opinion on what you write here, and haven't actually met the guy.

But hey, what have you got to lose! I mean, what is the worst that can happen if you should just ask him out?? He says no? Then you can move on at least. Or he says yes, and thinks your the coolest girl ever because you just totally took the pressure off him.

I am a female Cappy, dont know if my placments will be of assistance

Moon Aries
Mercury Capricorn
Venus Scorpio
Mars Pisces
Jupiter Pisces
Saturn Sagittarius
Uranus Sagittarius
Neptune Capricorn
Pluto Scorpio

I am not very easy to keep interested. Its not so much about having a interesting counterpart for me,but having a partner who could find the interesting things in everyday life.My fiance will tell me about his day and leave out the little nuances that
I find intriguing to know about.I am a little detail oriented and i find a person who find humor, cleverness or wit in everyday instances very interesting, since thats how i look at things. An interesting perspective is what gets a Cappy hooked, the way you look at things.A little culture never hurts either,a taste for foreign food,or film,a spice of variety in life, but not so much that you come off snobby.Staying well put to the ground and stable attracts them.and an intriguing outlook keeps them there.Youthfulness is important to me.I like a man who can think young.be silly and romantic.but knows when to be serious.

Invite him to dinner, and you pay. Take that opportunity to allow him to see more underneath your surface.

I would have to disagree with paying for his dinner so early on. Maybe dutch treat, but paying AND being the one that asks him out might seem a little desperate and may also set the tone for a future of him expecting more of the same. But, that is strictly my opinion.

Caps like their ladies to look good. Having impressive connections helps. My cappy would brag about being 'related' to my relatives because they own one of the most successful sports bars in town. He seemed to enjoy telling people that that was his 'family'.

As to what starzy said, my cap was completely opposite. He was never interested in any spicy or exotic type foods which drives me nuts. He always wanted cooking just like Moms. (he has cancer asc and moon, that is why i asked you for the other placements, makes a big difference).

Dressing nice and acting feminine is a plus. I've noticed the girls prior to and after me were super feminine and he would often state his distain for girls at clubs being really loud, aggressive and/or sloppy drunk.

I would also suggest making him feel important and needed by asking his advice on different matters. You know, like 'hey do you know a good place to get my (whatever) fixed'? and so on. They do like feeling useful.

Suffice to say, I was a hot mess coming out of a bitter divorce when I met this cap, and I think i brought out his savior/knight in shining armour thing, because he was all about saving me from myself and from the men that he insisted were out to hurt and use me.

OH, and if this helps at all, we were friends first. For quite awhile. I would call him about all my other disasterous relationships and he would give me advice. He told me later that his plan all along was to get me to date him. He says the first time he saw me in a parking lot he told his best friend (who I asked, and he verified) that, "See that girl, that is the girl I am going to marry one day."
That is what I mean about if they set out to get you, they will.

We then went from friends to friends with benefits, and long story short, were married five years later.

Just call him. I know you want to.

A Cappy man will insist on paying. But then you have your date. But if you hold your ground and pay, we secretly do love a free meal providing we like the company. But then we owe you...viola...date number 3.

When you think Cappy, think tradition. He is a gentleman. He is wise (or likes to think he is--haha). So, another tactic you can employ is to tell him you need his advice and can the two of you do lunch (business lingo). Don't do dinner for this one--lunch only. Remind him that, "Of course, we're going dutch; it's not a date or anything." And actually ask his advice on something personal to you. If the genders were reversed, there would be the chance for the dreaded "friends zone," but us guys don't do that (if we think a girl is attractive, she can always leave the friends zone). That "not a date" can lead to more not a dates. If he asks you out, it will be to dinner, and he will be a gentleman and pay. He will refuse to let you pay. And guess what? That's a date. After that, you can invite him to a home-cooked dinner and a movie to "thank him for all of the helpful advice." Taureans get all the credit for liking food, but Cappies are goats, and goats love to eat. Being cooked for will seal the deal. If he doesn't kiss you good night, he's shy. Move in for the kill. Is this a little deceptive? Yeah. Cappies value honesty. But you're not in a relationship yet. And your motives are pure. So, we will forgive you. Sometimes, we just need a little nudge. Girls can give mixed signals, and we hate rejection, so with a Cappy, you have to be direct. Once we know your interest is genuine, we will take charge, and then weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, you can relax and enjoy being romanced.

Oh, and I do agree with GW about setting the tone about always paying--with the other signs. Not a Cappy. Traditionally, the guy pays. We are all about tradition. We will only let you pay once. Promise. And it will be like pulling teeth to get us to agree, but secretly we love it. Of course, in a relationship, it's okay for the girl to pay sometimes. But never on a date.

I don't know how male Caps behave, but me being a female cap,I am very old fashion and won't really make a move unless the guy shows some interest first...BUT i like to manipulate the guy into becoming interested in me I kinda make a way for it be very easy for him to ask me out.I plan and calculate where the guy i like will be,and stage a opening for us to "bump into" each other. It has worked on more than one occasion..if he really likes you,I think he will set some bait for you to act on.and if you pass his test,he will take it from their when you show interest.Once he knows you like him,and he likes you,he will wine and dine you i'm sure.I like to go all out and buy gifts and the best of food and wine for a guy i like.

@ Starzy

Cap men do that as well.
When the one I spoke about above was pursuing me, he would weasel it out of my friends or acquaintences where I would be going to at any given time and show up there.

I used to drive a Classic Nova and went to alot of car shows.
The first time I 'accidently' bumped into him there, I thought it was odd since he didn't even HAVE a car, let alone the need to go to a swap meet to get parts for it.
lol.
That first year he showed up at alot of unexected places.
AND he would be the last to leave so that inevitably if I wanted company to breakfast or dinner, depending on what time of day it was, I would end up asking him.
They are no dumb bunnies, cappies.

Gypsee-
That is hilarious,it has worked so many times for me its crazy.I don't think Caps are leave it up to faith people, they set their sights on what they want, and make a way to get it..fashionably at that .They never want to get caught compromising their allure or mystery.Always want to be in charge and wanted/needed.But they don't want you to know that.

I called him a couple times and got his voicemail. He texted me back telling me he thought it was sweet how I was concerned about him and that he was just busy with work and stuff...I don't get a good feeling about this, if he liked me he would have time to at least talk to me. This is just my kind of luck in love

I honestly think I was too forward with him about how I felt about him, it was too soon for me to do that. The ball is in his court now with whats going to happen...it's like that one song goes "the more I want of you, the less I get".

Well, he DID text you back, you might not even get that out of a Pisces guy!
At any rate, the ball is in his court, and so just wait and see.
Who can resist a Libra??
And don't forget Cappies are an EARTH sign, prone to some S-L-O-W moving alot of times.

My cap does EVERYTHING slow, except eat!
But he does take forever to decide where to eat and what to order, in fact, he used to make me order for him, because he couldn't make up his mind.
He'll STILL ask me, at a certain restaurant, "What is it that I like from here again."
I swear I don't know what he'll do when I am all the way gone.
I'll have to leave detailed notes for the next wife.

The Scorpio Mars has me a bit troubled.
Alot of girls have some not so nice stories about men with this placement. Cause Scorpio enjoys 'testing' you to see exactly how interested you really are. It can be exausting.
So, play it cool for a bit, and see what happens.
Is texting your only way of communication?

Do you guys use FB or myspace or any of that kind of stuff, you know so you can just check and see if he's really working alot or what is actually going on.

But, true most caps do work ALOT.
I only have cap MC, and when I am working, I am like a ghost.
Do keep us posted.
Crossing my fingers for you.
