Well, he's talking lots we just can't understand any of it. We're telling ourselves it's Angelspeak.
Yipee! I'm so happy to hear that! You'll be blessed any time now so have as much fun as you can, while you can! It'd be so nice if you had a little Eagle ... s/he'd get along nicely with my little Moonchild! But heck, I'm sure they'll get along regardless. Here's wishing you the best of the baby world!

Hello Tink
"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of man?" Surprise, it's not the "Shadow" who knows, only liberals know that evil lurks in the hearts of Conservatives.
Of course, liberals don't believe in God, don't believe in right and wrong and with a concerted effort, are attempting to remove every vestige of God from America and it's institutions, including the currency and the Pledge of Allegiance.
So, please don't interject Thomas Jefferson into this discussion to bolster your position.
Nice going liberals.

'Zala

I knew she'd find that quote someday!

So Zala, you have a different opinion to put forth?

Ummm, before you do, you should know I've since separated liberals from leftists. I just love liberals. Why "some" of the nicest people I know are liberals.

Leftists....urp!

Which ilk are the:
don't believe in God
don't believe in right and wrong
trying to remove every vestige of God from America
-- the leftists, or the liberals??
I'd like to have our definitions straight before I blather any further

I think you're stalling 'Z

Nevertheless, I'll humor you. There is a bright line of demarcation between liberals and leftists. Leftists are not ultra liberals.

As I said, I like liberals...and why not? They grow up to be conservatives ...well, most of them.

This was attributed to Winston Churchill:
"If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain."

Of course, this quote is disputed by 50 year old liberals

So 'Z which group would you think:
don't believe in God....Religion is the opiate of the masses

don't believe in right and wrong...whatever advances the power, prestige and goals of the state IS right

(and are) trying to remove every vestige of God from America...their god IS the state

OK 'Z, time for some serious blathering

we are all one
we are all the same
no distinctions
no titles

Now I'm dreaming

But isn't that what life is?

That's a lovely Churchill quote. You know I love Churchill

Here's another good one I thought you might like ....

The radical of one century is the conservative of the next. The radical invents the views. When he has worn them out, the conservative adopts them.
Mark Twain

Well TINK, it's safe to say Karl Marx was a radical.

Too bad Mark Twain/Samuel Clemens didn't stick around long enough to see his theory go up in smoke...and meet Ronald Reagan
Not that I don't like Twain, I do, very much so but sayings must stand the test of time.

More Churchill

"When I am abroad, I always make it a rule never to criticise or attack the government of my own country. I make up for lost time when I come home."
Too bad some of our dimocrat politicians never read Churchill

"Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."
