Well quik, perhaps I could do that but I seem to remember all the high fiving going on when the President was being bashed relentlessly by left leaning members here. I don't remember a single one of the libs suggesting anyone cool it....even though what was being posted about Bush was a direct attack on his person, having nothing to do with his policies and generally the most outrageous of lies to boot.

At least what's being posted about John Kerry is factual, on the record and isn't an attack on the essence of his person.

The whining of liberals here is typical. They love to dish it out but can't take it. This is the right forum for political postings and debate about politics.

Sorry I didn't use more 2 and 3 letter words so you could understand what I said paras.

Not that I'm concerned with whether you read or not...or whether you're even capable of reading with comprehension.

Feel free to cruise by my posts paras with the emphasis on "feel".

Yes 26T, I must confess juvenile antics always draw a measured and appropriate response but not from a Scorp source. Scorp would say nuke em

*clapping* Well done jwhop. Congratulations on not pasting a newspaper article response.

And is that what a Scorp would say? Awwww, that's cute.

Well, I could have given you 3 or 4 chapters on the psychological implications of adults employing regression to a happier juvenile stage as a defense mechanism but I'm saving that for paras.

And as for the regression itself... if I look six posts back, I'd say we were on a level playing field.

I'm working on the text now 26T. You have no idea what a pain in the $ss it is trying to find 2 and 3 letter words to substitute.

Ummm paras, if that playing field you mentioned is as level as you believe, you could have entered into legitimate debate instead of resorting to a sniping attack from the cheap seats.

You do realize that jwhop is a Leo right?

For the record, I think that jwhop voices many of our opinions. It is not that we are weak and he needs to speak for us, but why should we post the same thing as he, when he has already provided such an eloquent response? He is also one of the few people here that will back up statments with quotes, articles and statistics that can call be found online and therefore properly sourced.

So many people today just post their own opinions in such a manner as to protray the opinion as fact. When you ask for supportive / factual details you get nothing but a "go pound sand I am to busy to dig up facts".

No, Piduau, I obviously didnt realize jwhop was a Leo. Wellllll it all makes perfect sense now!! I thought I read somewhere jwhop was a Scorpio and at the same time I felt he must have the wrong birth data - like I asked him, '..you sure youre not a Leo?' (there's got to be a heavy Scorp or Pluto influence in there somewhere though ) My mistake. A Leo is much more fitting. I'm sorry your Highness Jwhop.

There are also alot of us who have opposing views to 'jwhop and his crew's' views. And we have also "backed up statments with quotes, articles and statistics that can call be found online and therefore properly sourced." But those have seemed to have been forgotten about. Or overlooked...ignored? Nooo...all of the quotes, articles and statistics that dont fit in with the certain line of thinking that goes on here are false -- they're all made up, of course!

And it's not about "go pound sand, I am too busy to dig up facts". Facts have been found and posted here - over and over again. But when they dont fit in with certain people's points of veiw, they are disregarded. And it becomes pointless and tiring. I played that game here for awhile and I'm done.

There were alot of people who shared similar views to many of us here, that have dissapeared. I wonder why? They've made countless numbers of intelligent posts - that can also be "backed up" - but were ridiculed for their views. This is not a friendly forum. That - sadly - is why the more intelligent people, tend to stay out of it.

To each their own, I say!! I don't care what you all believe. I'm not looking to change any minds here.

Let's lighten this forum up a bit, k?! Not sit high atop our throne and try to scare people away.

The way these convos devolve is just sad

Global Unity takes everyone's efforts. Irreverance, facetiousness, and snide comments only detract from it. You can't sit there and be irreverant and contemptuous, then accuse Jwhop of causing disunity in here. It takes more than just one person to do that. It requires the efforts of all participants to cause disunity.

I think you know quite a bit about intolerance Jwoop. Sometimes you border on extreme rudeness with your name calling. If you make such valid points why is all that necessary? I know you feel strongly about what you believe, but really, it stops people like me taking what you have to say seriously and that is a great pity.

I see your point Juniperb. But are we supposed to tiptoe around the lion and not wake him from his slumber, in hopes that he doesnt attack us? Puulease! This forum is in a sad state if so. Personally, thats not my style. Bring it on. I'd rather have some fun with the bullies, not kiss their @sses ....or try and hide from them. And if they want to have some fun at my expense, so be it.

goodness, I do love to rattle the Lions cage... but, I find it more prudent to feed it a "well prepared" meal rather than my armbone.

Is that right juni? Preeeeetty clever...

See, I prefer not to waste my time "making well prepared meals" for "animals" that I know are just waiting to attack me. Why bother when they won't eat it anyway? It is not the "meal" that they want.

..yes, "goodness"!!........and golly-gee!

I like to rattle the lion's cage from time to time myself, but I find it nice to give him a nice scratching behind the ears from time to time to... so he knows I do still love him. Just because the lion is a vicious preditor does not mean he isn't a beautiful creature.

Can we be done with the JW bashing?!... really now guys. It's pretty childish. It was kinda funny for a second... but it has gone on too far. You guys have him pigeonholed into this narrow minded stereotype that isn't entirely true. We could spend weeks on this site pointing out people's negative qualities... HOW does that equate global unity?
