I(right now) just don't need with deal with alot of bickering from any side on the issue though, I try to be subtle about alot of things(probably, that is why I don't make any sence to alot of people either for the most part around here), but I do like to joke around about alot of things too as well!

It's not about him banning anyone. It's about him calling anyone who doesn't like Bush a radical leftist.

I don't think someone who does that should be a moderator at all.

The thing with me being a mod is too complex to explain to others, there is alot of elements here that might have settled by now, but I've seen how fast they can be blow right back up in the air again, like a radiation cloud after the fall-out has been long been settled to the ground.

I feel that there is too many conflicts of interest that I(myself) and others have endured here in GU, though I love the excitement of this place at times here and the interesting subjects that have been posted and believe me, you get to learn alot here too so much, but....

Let's just put it this way from a man that has faced some of the most difficult circumstances in his life, faced off with all opposing sides for one of the most unfortunate events in US history and now will spend the rest of his days with a very big crucifix to carry on his shoulders to his very last dying breath!

MG.. yes you are right. I am a republican and I am proud of it. I am also objective when it comes to others opinions / beliefs. I may state my own, but they are also entitled to theirs as well.

Just because someone is a staunch conservative OR liberal, does not mean they are not capable of letting things ride while others state their side.

The problems comes when someone begins using derogatory or racist comments to state their case. Calling someone a b1tch and a hick is not tolerated- whereas telling someone they are way off base for not understanding the situation is... that is the difference.

I see no problem with having two or even up to four mods. You can have one from each side and two neutral or one from each side AND a neutral person.

For me.. I am not moderator material. I am too flaky (in that I am here for a few weeks, then I end up taking a trip and not logging on for about 2 weeks LOL...)

There are others more up to the challenge.
