the sentence structure and paraphrasing of English words in India , that is spoken on a daily basis , is influenced by the sentence structure and paraphrasing of Hindi. so a lot of times what i write, might seem off because like most Indians i think in Hindi
what we speak is neither Hindi nor English but Hinglish. kind of like spanglish spoken by people coming from latin background.

i have a tendency to snowball a sentence like J K Rowling, my school teachers couldnt understand why i didnt like the fullstop that much

what I meant , sarcasm aside was infact to point out exactly what u said about " how people get their panties in a bunch"

what i wrote was a sarcastic jab
to ask what prompts someone educated to react at an american's insinuation about a philosophical aspect of existence , by cussing their native country.

Venusdeindia is right about a lot of things. Insulting the land of all of my earliest memories is not one of them. This country offers many things; among them a place where you don't have to worry about your hands being cut off if you vote the wrong way.

(We just cut off your mind if you vote ANY way..but that's another subject.)

But, Venus is right about our having a LOT of pregnant teens. It's epidemic and it's because we treat laws and policies as gods.

Freedom of speech is sacrosanct, the right to be self indulgent is too and no one has to be responsible for that. That adds up to mixed messages which makes for misinformed and or misguided teens; thus more teen pregnancy.

However, venus, India is one of the most densely populated places on the face of the planet. Please stop talking about population. (I meant the please more than the stop..if you get my meaning. )

Venus is also right about India being the U.S. outsourcing capital of the world. In fact, she SHOULD know, she is in the thick of it. Mumbai, India happens to be one of the hottest outsourcing spots in India. (I could be wrong, but I'm not. Check out Daffy Times Volume 2)

It's absurd how many jobs we outsource every year. Like traitors to our own complaints about the economy we sell our jobs to the lowest bidder. In all countries but ours. (It's illegal for us to bid that low.)

If you aren't in the American job market right now, it looks like this: Government Job, Service Industry, Business Major, Low Wage Agricultural or Unemployed.

We don't really manufacture much in this country anymore. Because our OWN people have determined that they can make more money by giving the manufacturing jobs to people in other countries.

Now I'm all in favor of the free market. But what about a group of slick, savvy businessmen who realize that they can circumvent U.S. wage laws by sending their manufacturing and IT jobs overseas where labor is cheap?

Those same jerks shake their heads at stories of illegals being hired by American businessmen who have no choice but to stay here. Farmers and service businesses like restaurants and hotels HAVE to obey our wage laws..they have no choice. They don't GET the option of selling out American jobs to people in Mumbai, India.

Everyone's bickering instead of looking around.

Anyhow..stop bashing America, please. Some of us REALIZE there are problems. I'm sorry we've sent so many jobs to your country. Please don't also talk trash about us for it. Perhaps we'll learn our lesson. Perhaps we'll STOP sending those jobs over there. You never know how karma will exact it's toll. You just know that it will. And who would want that for a brother or sister..regardless of where they might live?

Our problems are here..in America. And your problems are there, in India.

The easiest thing in the world, is for us to forget about our local problems by pointing to someone else's. Makes it easy to pretend things are so much better where WE are. Doesn't it?

That goes for both Americans and anyone else from any country.

Why? Why create more problems by creating tension between our cultures?

As for the Indian caste system, I've shown it's still alive and functioning. This, in spite of denials to the contrary which are not at all persuasive.

You are such a little boy. I get to come to Germany on the taxpayers dime? Yes, I do because my husband is stationed here. Unless you haven't heard Soldier's get paid crap. The least this country can do is make sure families stay together instead of keeping us separated from our loved ones for 3 years.

Let me tell you something else I get compliments of the Taxpayers.. the possibility of burying my husband because he went to war. I doubt you can say as much in regards to service to this country. Bear will be going on another deployment at the end of the year. I have already had friends that lost their husbands in combat and both Bear and I have attended more memorials because of those that served this country and gave the ultimate sacrifice.

One such Soldier had his wife living here in Schweinfurt as well.. compliments of the taxpayers (which I have been paying into the system for more than 18 years). Her husband was severely wounded in combat, was sent to TX to recover and died ONE DAY before their baby was born.

I think you need to re-evaulate your childish notion that the gov pays for me like it is a welfare program. I work, I have always worked and my taxes go right back into the system.

You do ALL Military families a disservice by your words.

In short.. kiss my Army Spouse A$$. If you think you can do better for this country, then by all means, get your butt in uniform and lets see how long you last. I would be surprised if you even made it through basic.

I LOVE being an Army spouse. Boring? NEVER... how can it be boring when you get to meet people from other countries? I have made friends with German nationals as well as a tight group of Army wives. My husband's job is exciting and we are moving again. Life is never a bore when you are married to the Military.

Then again, you probably don't comprehend what I have said. Edited to add*** I do not find it hard to be a woman. I love being what I am and what I have earned. I put myself through college, I've always been a career woman and I enjoy all the challenges that life (especially Army life) has to offer. I also help other Army spouses when they need information and the tools to relocate to other countries. It's a different life but it is not boring nor is it hard- other than when people have no idea what our spouses sacrifice every day either in training or in combat.

How much do you know about being an Army wife or a Military spouse for that matter? You seem to act like the subject matter expert for such a group of women. What I think is actually the case is that you, yourself have lived a life without much meaning in regards to a man. I have never lived such a life. My life is not, nor has ever been mundane. Even if it became boring and I had to go a year without seeing my husband (so far we have lived together for less than 6 months out of 2 years) I would not find solace in the arms of another man. I don't say that because Bear is on this board, I invited him, so all of my posts are fair game. I say it because I have spend years being celebate by choice and still lived a full and exciting life. My husband, the one I made a promise to in front of God and everyone is even more special to me. Why would I find any type of brief happiness in another man when I have what I want in my life? I can wait forever for him.. I waited 36 years to find him and most of those were spent single, career oriented and sex-free LOL...

The Military wives that do cheat most often are pre-dispositioned to such behaviour no matter what. They are no different that the wife of a doctor, lawyer or politician that is gone many hours. If one doesn't know how to keep themselves entertained and they feel that being intimate with a man often is the only way to feeling important.. well, they will cheat.

That speaks about the woman, not about the Armed forces.

It would be alright for you to say this on a separate thread but you are posting it on a thread that is meant to be about americans. You need to relook at the thread title before you post something as ignorant as this.

I will let you know that I am not a boy and have been in the Military for more than just a little while. I think you need to pull your head out of your fourth point of contact and smell the coffee. Maybe you will realize that neither you or Venus have a clue what your refering to or talking about when it comes to the Military. I.E. like your references of blowing up a chapel, mosque, or any other place of worship for that matter. It is against any and all rules of engagement to attack a place of worship or humanity I.E. a hospital or somewhere where injured people are being treated or noncombatants or located.

Venusdeindia - I am not a citizen yet. I have been paying taxes in this country for more than 10 years. I am eligble to apply for the citizenship this year. I don't know if my inner conscious will allow me to become a US citizen. What is bugging me most is the plight of native indians. I think of them often. At times I feel happy because they themselves say a land does not belong to any one man ir groups. At times I am sad because they have been dislocated to hot and cold places in america and very neglected by american government. Anyway I will deal with my personal problem. There is this thing called dual citizen allowed by government of India and it sounds promising. I love india and I also love America, so perhaps I will decide to take US citizenship.

And bypass jwhops comments on castism. He is unaware. I am born in mumbai and I know mumbai is the most non-class system city in India. Its like any other metropolitan city of the world. Everyone has equal opportunity. I am here because of free market policies of Rajiv Gandhi who was also assasinated by terrorists in the mid 80s and US leaders. These leaders have not forgotten their past. They know that they migrated from Europe to the land of native indians. They have good conscious and conscience. All those people who hate immigrants should really hate their own mothers and fathers and grand parents and grand grand parents.
