Been meaning to mention how I think it's funny (and a little odd) that you are back up in NE now and I'm living down here in FL. You moved back up and I back down..around the same time, i think? Not sure if you remember but in a string, quite awhile back we were talking about getting together someday and going on a hike or something, when you came back up to visit. I think you were living in FL at the time and I, in VT. Now you are back up there and I am back down here.

I'll make my way back up to NH (home) someday for sure. I really miss it up there.

So, anyway, this feeling only haunts me rarely from time to time now but when the song was popular about a decade ago, I was living it.
Good stuff in these. It's like a simultaneous prayer, falling, and mental crisis.
I've posted them before.

What do I do to ignore them behind me?

I had no idea you were in FL! What area? Are you enjoying it down there? I had fun, but my heart just wasn't in it anymore... I'm really glad to be back in NE, there's something more real and pure about it for me. Probably because I had no connection to Florida, just a superficial kind of life with my ex and his family.

It's exceptionally funny because this happens to me all the time! I move back, people I know move away... strange, that.

And yes, the weather is just nuts. We are now removing snow and dumping it in fields because it's too high on the corners, cars can't see over the snowbanks! I love it though... but it would be nice to have spring arrive soon...

I was in Fort Myers. Gulf coast, pretty far south. It was beautiful, and I did have a blast once I got away from the crazy jealousy that I lived with... that was only about a month.. But I would go back to see my girls any day!!
