The almost too obvious connection to HAND minus tantric H is DNA?

I find it interesting that there has been discussion here of the double-helix of DNA being represented by the twin Serpents of the cadduceas.
This spirals me to the idea that DNA becomes DAN, the lost tribe of Isreal.

Genesis 49:16 or 17 (Sorry I forgot which !) says...
"DAN will be a SERPENT by the roadside..."
How strange!

Relevent or something to muddy the waters? My head is spinning with thoughts!

Yes! I think you win the prize! I don't believe that anyone has mentioned that connection of DNA, after removing the Tantric Sex H from HAND, as of yet!

And what an interesting connection to the tribe of Dan! You are very perceptive, again, I had not thought to go there yet!

This thread has been inactive for quite a while, so I'll have to backtrack. Just remember.. what is obvious to one individual may not be so to another.

Mea culpa! That "too obvious" comment was a sarcastic little nibblet at MYSELF and in NO way a commentary on anyone else's perception!
I would STILL be overlooking the DNA connection were it not for your ever so gentle nudge.
My fingers get ahead of my brain sometimes. Blasted Merc. in Aries!
In reviewing my post I see I even typo'd Israel.

I do have somewhat of an advantage, having read all the posts at once. The wonderful insights I have discovered here emboldened me to put in my two cents.

Loony, the day I'm too old to learn something from somebody else is the day that I need to not be here anymore.

As much as I like to think I've acquired over the years from the various Teachers I've run across, I find I learn as much from people who are new to the Path of the Mysteries... and I think this is how it should be.

Like The Hermit Key in the Higher Arcana, we all climb the mountain at out own pace, following the wisdom and light of those that have gone before, while holding the lamp up for those that follow. Everything in its Time.

I'm glad you found some inspiration here, and I'm sure you have much wisdom to share as well.

I was talking to friend today about immortality and her vision of it is that a whole group of people will become immortal. That the earth's energy is increasing its vibration and those people whose energy and spirituality increases to match the change will become immortal and those that don't will shift to another planet, or perhaps that might be another dimension.

Perhaps I'm needlessly being a little negative with my view, I guess it all depends on what you feel immortality means.

If you add another twenty years to your age that's how old I am so but I've probably only started thinking along these lines the same length of time you have.

Well... I'll have to think on that for a while, but right away I notice that in numerology, the word SERPENT or PRESENT adds up as follows:

P...R...E...S...E...N...T
8 + 2 + 5 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 4 = 32/5

Interestingly, there are 32 Paths in the Qabalah: the 10 Sephiroth and the 22 Paths that connect them.

Numerologically 32 is a number of communication. See Star Signs, While the Soul Slumbers chapter.

It reduces to the single number 5 which is associated with Mercury, and is the number of earth magic.

A PRESENT is a gift. THE PRESENT is a designation of TIME. The SERPENT has long been associated with wisdom. Perhaps there is a message here regarding the wisdom of living in the Eternal NOW, or THE PRESENT!

What are your thoughts? I'll continue to spiral on this Lexigram, and that of PRESIDENT.

Wow.. that's a tough one to crack! I can tell you what I think, but I'm not going to go so far as to question the word druids as to why they chose this one word to mean two such different things!

My guess is that when we learn that TIME is not really REAL, except for in this 3rd dimension, we give ourselves a gift of wisdom! A Present!

When this happens, we learn to live in the Eternal Now, or what we might call the perpetual PRESENT!?!

Does this make any sense?

In PRESIDENT I found:

SET REPENTS
SET DIES
SERPENT IS SET

I RESIDE IN PRESENT
SET SENT SERPENT
SERPENT DIES IN SITE
SEED SET INSIDE (a kernel of Truth)?

Just a few thoughts... and you?

On the topic of the Serpent, are you familiar at all with the stories of Lilith who was supposed to be Adams's first wife, but who was kicked out of Eden and who some consider to be the true identity of the Serpent?

Apparently it is written in some of the ancient Hebrew texts. I was wondering if you knew anything of this.

Well, I have heard of Lilith, but was unaware that legend identified her as the Serpent in Eden.

In Linda's version of the creation story, Lilith was never mentioned.

I'd be interested though in hearing more about it if you've researched it more than I.

Great spiraling... I never saw DESTINED in President.. no matter how long you look at a word, you don't see certain things until the alloted time, as Linda said in Star Signs.

In GENESIS... SING is allowed, but SINGING is not at it has 2 letter G's and the original doesn't.

Yes, Genie is there... but I'm not sure sometimes when a word like that pops up if it isn't telling us something about ourSelves. Do we not all possess magical powers, and are we not all supernatural beings that can assume human form?

My favorite Lexigram of GENESIS is SIN IN GENES... and that surely is a SIGN, is it not? I love Lexigramming, it can open up whole new vistas in the mind.
