wow....fascinating stuff, guys. Petron, that's amazing to think of an electron in that way. No, I haven't read that one by Gleick, Dean. Chaos and Genuis...hmmmm... I'll have to check it out. I've heard of Feynman through my readings, although I cannot say exactly where or how at the moment.....I'm a bit scattered there. It would be cool to start a new thread sometime. I surely would be interested. God's superstringed guitar . That's a groovy vision. Here's more on Multidimensional Universes from Beyond Einstein: In the 1920's Einstein's general theory of relativity provided the best explaination of how our universe began. According to Einstein's theory, the universe was born about 10 to 20 billion years ago in a gigantic explosion called the Big Bang. All the matter in the universe, including the stars, galaxies, and planets, was originally concentrated in one superdense ball, which exploded violently, creating the presentday expanding universe. This theory conveniently explains the observed fact that all the stars and galaxies are currently moving away from the earth (propelled by the force of the Big Bang). However, there were many gaps in Einstein's theory. Why did the universe explode? What happened before the Big Bang? Theologians as well as scientists have for years realized the imcompleteness of the Big Bang theory, because it fails to explain the origin and nature of the Big Bang itself. Incredibly, the superstring theory predicts what happened before the Big Bang. According to superstrings, the universe originally existed in ten dimensions, not the four dimensions (three space dimensions and one time dimension) of today. However, because the universe was unstable in ten dimensions, it "cracked" into two pieces, with a small, four-dimensional universe peeling off from the rest of the universe. By analogy, imagine a soap bubble that is vibrating slowly. If the vibrations become strong enough, the soap bubble becomes unstable and fissions into two or more smaller soap bubbles. Imagine that the original soap bubble represents the ten-dimensional universe, and that one of the smaller soap bubbles represents our prestday universe. If this theory is tue, it means that our universe actually has a "sister universe". that co-exists within our universe. It also means that the original fissioning of our universe was so violent that it created the explosion that we know as the Big Bang. The superstring theory, therefore, explains the Big Bang as a byproduct of a much more violent transition, the cracking of the ten-dimensional universe into two pieces. You do not have to worry, however, that one day as you are walking down the street you will suddenly "fall" into another other-dimensional universe as though in a science fiction novel. According to the superstring theory, the other multidimensional universe has shrunk to such an incredibly small size (about 100 billion billion times smaller than the nucleus of an atom) that it can never be reached by humans. Thus, it becomes an academic question what higher dimensions look like. In this sense, the prospect of traveling between higher dimensions was possible only at the origin of the universe, when the universe was ten-dimensional and interdimensional travel was physically possible. ************** If these other dimensions consist of 'dark matter'.....matter of substantial weight that we cannot see, possibly consisting of undiscovered elements that may possibly be present in our universe as well....could this be the link (the time travel) to these other dimensions? Through the strings connecting the dark matter of each? Or is there some secret key in Wheeler's postulation of the 'same electron'? If it bounces back and forth through time, then it 'bounces' into and back to other dimensions as well? Could we be made from electrons that have traveled from other dimensions? If these dimenstions are 100 billion billion times smaller than an atom, is that even possible? ....so much to think about, I don't know where to end or where to begin. H&S

Heres a link to video presentation of Feynman introducing QED to students. Wish we had more such professors like him http://www.vega.org.uk/series/lectures/feynman/index.php IP: Logged |

Hi Tink, Didn't mean to offend you. I believe in equality of sexes. In my post above, a though occurred to me about What does it mean to be masculine? And feminine? Different culture have different interpretation. Is one that is active Masculine, and one that is passive feminine? In my mind, Intuition is feminine. Just having intellect is not enough. Power is masculine. Ego is masculine. IP: Logged |

Ah ha...I sought and finally had to rectify the original verse. The real scoop I believe is: The inner kingdom of God (that which is within, of the pure heart, or of the soul) is when a woman bakes bread and hides yeast in measures, three of flour and in a little time the whole was leavened. Now link my earlier posts especially " fascinating number 137." Get it who is this woman Ofcourse there is an outer kingdom of God also.

quote:
Matthew:13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 13:48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
This is the outer kingdom that Jesus speaks about. It is like a net. And various people crowd this outer kingdom for various reasons. At the end of age, the net would catch all kinds of man. Then sorting would occur. The bad would be throw away in fire. Not the fire of hell. But a purifying fire. Its little uncomfortable but, it has to come to pass. Have you seen silver purified. The impurities seems to be consumed and not a gram of silver is lost. WELL SEEMS THATS A CONCLUSION TO THIS POST. BE AWARE OF THE NET THAT IS COMING SOON.
PEACE ========= What is an age Well the sun travels in each of 12/13 zodiac sign approx 2300 years or so. A great Master of compassion(love) , Christ consciousness or Budha consciousness what ever you want to call it takes an Avatar to guide us to the light.

out of all the teachings in the book called "The Bible" there are only 2 that I feel are necessary in life. One: Jesus was tempted about money: Jesus said to "give to Cesar what is Cesars and give to God what is Gods" Jesus used the image on a coin. My interpertation: First:Pay your taxes and obey the law of the land in which you reside. Second: according to Genesis, we (humans) are made in Gods image, so... we are to give ourselves to God. Two: There is a very often mis-preached verse: the verse goes something like this: 'God wants us to be hot or cold, not luke-warm or he will spew us out of his mouth' most often this is preached as our spritual temperature, cold in sin or on fire for God, not stradling some proverbial fence. If the preachers who preached this garbage had ever traveled to modern day Turkey (thats where the apostles were writing to) they would find that those words were metaphoric to something that only the people of that region would understand. It had nothing to do with spiritual temperature. All with in a days walk (a town) is found 3 types of naturally occuring water. water representing people. There is a natural mineral hot springs. This is used primarily for 2 things. one being bathing. and two being the minerals in the water set the dye in the materials. One of the major sources of income in that area are the beautifuly dyed rugs and materials. almost right across the street is cold spring. This water cascades down the mountain side... the entire side of the mountain is white, so white it hurts your eyes. If I remember this is calcium and lime deposits. This cold water is good for drinking, and because of it's particular deposits it is used to do laundry, it keeps white, very white... then if you go down the mountain side, you would notice pools of water, these pools of water are stagnant, they are warmed by the sun, the sulphur in ground leaches into these 'luke-warm' pools making them putrid and posinious. Hence the true meaning: Be Useful, in some manner... don't be a putrid, stagnant, good for nothing person. IP: Logged |
