I have read info out there about healing and visualizing the healing taking place in your body. OK. There is a lot of "white Light" talk. Use, see, feel, empower etc. the white light. I cannot visualize this. Lets say I want to work on my hernia, heal it myself. I need a picture of what it looks like when you do something like this. Does anyone have pics of what it looks like to visualize this. Are there things you should be thinking? It doesn't have to be a hernia, but an example of a visual healing. They can be drawings or computer generated images. I just can't seem to find a place to start. Help! Hope I'm making sense! I appreciate it! IP: Logged |

You are making perfect sense, Philbird. To use creative visualization for helaing, it is not necessary to know what the hernia looks exactly like. You can visualize it as a dark spot or as a knot or even as Darth Vader if you want. Just use an image that connects to your mind as something you want to get rid of. Then, use the white light as a weapon, like lazer bursts, aimed at your evil enemy, the hernia. See in your mind that the image you want to get rid of is damaged and weakened by the lazer bursts. Watch it disappear bit by bit. Feel warmth and energy in the area of your body you are working on. Touch it. Talk to it. Tell it what you want to accomplish out loud. Words have power, remember, and saying things out loud helps. Do this for a few minutes as often as you think about it. If you are at a stop light, send a few white light lazer bursts at your problem, then just put it to the back of your mind until next time you have a couple of minutes. Try at least one or two extended periods during the day of 10 to 15 minutes of doing the same thing. Be in a place where you can rest, relax, and concentrate. (During a long bath is a perfect time!) I hope that helps.IP: Logged |

OK. Where do the lasers originate? In my body, outside? Should I focus on the affected area or visualize it like I'm on the outside of my body, doing the healing to myself? As though I were someone else doing the healing? Sorry to sound so dense, but I'm sure once I get a good idea how to do this, I'll understand.IP: Logged |

I don't think those details matter so much, as long as YOU are comfortable with what you are doing. When I do it, I always see the white light as originating within my head, traveling to my heart for strength, then shooting out like a directed lazer at what ever I'm healing, whether it is within myself or it is someone (or animal) else. I heard of a kid with cancer who visualized it like a video game with his lazer weapon wiping out cancer cells. (He did quite well, by the way.) The important thing is that you visualize something that has meaning and effectiveness to you personally.IP: Logged |

This is kinda funny. I have been holding my hand over my stomach, and "sucking" like an octapuss would. I imagine it is sucking the hernia out of me...Ha Ha. (hmmmmm, maybe I just found an alternative to liposuction!) Thanks for the tips!IP: Logged |

Thanks to both of you! You, phil for bringing this up and to fishkitten for answering her! I have often wondered this myself ... and i too thought that it is strictly the visualization that matters. I too remember reading/watching about that young male cancer survivor! Such a miraculous story! Goes to prove the power of our thoughts (and words) IP: Logged |

Sounds perfect, Ms. Philbird. Let me know how it works. Last time I did it, I healed a wart on my dog in about a week.IP: Logged |

It sounds like so much fun! I'm not sure my dog would let me heal him, though. He doesn't quite like lying down still. Much prefer playing with that ball...IP: Logged |

FishKitten,That is such a cool way of visualizing it! I'm going to try that sometime. Usually I just visualize a white light energy ball surrounding/engulfing the area, kind of massaging the problem away. I silently speak to it and send it love and ask that is dissolve. I think dis-eases are there to get our attention and force us to look at things that we are neglecting in our lives or bodies, so I ask for guidance and help to learn the lessons I need to learn from it. What it is trying to wake me up to. I'll also picture taking the negative emotional energy attatched to it, forming it into a small ball and throwing it away. Asking that the negative energy be transformed (by angels or higher beings) into positive and spread out from there. Luckily I can visualize colors, and anything else I want to, very easily. Philly, try out different visualizations and you will eventually find one that works for you. Green is also a healing color. IP: Logged |

I found a poem I wrote a long time ago. It is similar in image as how I picture white light connections. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum17/HTML/000632.html pixelpixie Moderator Posts: 6168 From: Ontario, Canada Registered: Aug 2003 posted January 26, 2005 03:57 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was envisioning a painting. I put words to it because the paint won't do. If I could visualize a radiant being with spools of never ending threads, glowing where they connect to the source I would be that conduit, the tentacles I weave in and out of meetings leaving whispering tendrils and whisps of light in their wake the many layered sparks shoot out at times to remind both seeker and bringer some are dormant yet ready to surge with life. others constant small currents of electricity a remembered kiss a touch a brush of words on a lonely night some are thick as snakes alive and sparking, glowing with each meeting and still on, apart some need nurturing, some only dreams one is ever ready a steady supply of vision and love. But the others remain, beacons to my spirit in shattered moments I feed on them as they feed on me A chain I feel this.

What I do is visualize the white light entering my body at the crown of my head. I don't really "see" where it comes from, I just KNOW that it comes from Divine Love and Intellegence..the Creator, if you will. I see the light entering my body and spreading throughout very slowly healing and enhancing every fiber of my being. If there is a specific area that needs help I concentrate the white light there for awhile before moving on. As I do this, I can feel the warmth of the white light as it travels through my body. If I am working on healing for someone/thing else, I see the white light coming into me and then I send it to whomever/whatever needs the healing. The light goes out to them through my heart chakra most of the time, but sometimes also through my hands if I can touch them. I don't think it matters how you see the light...spiraling...laser-like, etc. That would be up to the individual and what one feels comfortable and/or powerful with. I think white light is important for it's purity..in the case of healing, but that's just me. By the way...where is Philbird??? ------------------ "I never know where I need to be until I get there." -from The Dogs of Babel IP: Logged |
