Hello....I have know about Astral Projection for quite some time...but I wanted to know if there was anyone here who had done it personally, or knew someone who did. What was it like? I once read a fictional story which used projection as a plot device (it was such a good book, but I cannot remmember who wrote it!) Anyway, if any of you have had this experience and care to share, please do!

Hi geminirising26 & Charlotte, yes I had an OBE when I was younger aged about four, it was odd because had no idea what was happening, but didn't question it at the time and wasn't scared, just popped back into my body when I thought about doing so, and knew it definitly wasn't a dream. I've had plenty of dreams since - and I guess they're a form of astral projection

Hey Dean, I'm good thanks. I have had the desire to astral travel, but not sure whether I was just having a lucid dream..

I have had very detailed dreams in colour about being in - almost a different planet - and a sense of being on another time frame.

Recently (mainly within the last year) my detailed dreams of other places, seem to be pretty modern so am thinking they could be either now - or in a future setting. Worryingly, some have been pretty scary - like I'm living out someone elses fear and death - maybe that part should be in astral realms However, I'm yet to distinguish astral travels with dreams

Hey, thanks for the replies! Charlotte and Sheaa-can you talk more about the OBE? I think it is so facinating! I have never had such experience, but I tried astral projection a while back, perhaps because I was not yet mentally prepared. Perhaps soon I may try again..I'll make it a pt to read those threads Sesame.
