Salome,I don't know where to start - the pictures and information you have shared on dragons is too 'coincidental' to be coincidental. A couple of years ago I had a very vivid dream featuring crocodiles and a dragon. At this time I was in the midst of ending a relationship with someone who turned out to be a love rat - preying upon women (for attention, love, sex, money). In the dream I was standing on the edge of a lake, vaguely aware of other people nearby. There were crocodiles circling around in the lake, and one was in fact a man. Every time he 'came round', he cast a rod out from the lake to catch a woman standing on the shore. First I thought "he's not interested in me". But as the women disappeared into the lake one by one, I realised that he was keeping me for last. So when he circled round again, I knew I had to take action. I was not scared strangely enough, and decided that I would take immediate action. I dived into the lake, straight 'onto' him, dragging him down to the depths of the lake. As we sank I noticed I was growing bigger, and was able to swallow him in one gulp. After I had 'eaten' him, I kept on growing, towering right out of the water, feeling immensely powerful and victorious. I was a huge dragon! I shook my long, strong neck and gave a magnificent dragon roar. Then I woke up... Another dream I had later also featured my ex (love rat). We were both in a huge underground temple (perhaps Egypt or Babylon), with huge columns of gold and golden spread-eagles (faravahars) painted on the walls. We were standing together in a crowd gathered to await the coming of an important king or deity - who finally came in a boat across an underground waterway. In my dream I remember thinking "what a funny trussed beard". Poseidon? Marduk? I am very interested in shamanism, but have (as yet) not done anything to discover more about myself and my past and what these 2 dreams might mean (in relation to my ex). Any thoughts, insights or responses - welcome! Regards, FireDream

I've had a lot of dragon dreams, though not in a long while. Some are nightmares. Like I remember one that scared me awake with a feeling of fear that lingered. A dragon was after me, though I could not yet see it, and I hid in a restaurant. The dragon pulled the roof off and looked down at me...and it was the intelligence (well beyond human) as well as arcane power I could sense in its eyes that scared me even more than it being the size of Godzilla. I came to, my heart hammering. A haunting one was me as part of naked Amazon warriors on Mars that rode dragons as steeds into battle. Wish I could remember more of that one. In one I could turn into a dragon. One funny scene I remember was being pulled over by a cop, so I got out of the car (as did the cop) and turned into a dragon right there. The cop went back into his car and left. I used to have dreams of being observed by these entities that would put me into bizarre situations and watch my reaction. One night it was at first deal with being an enemy of the state in an American Communist regime, and then it was reset (to my annoyance), starting at the same place, only this time it was a right wing dictatorship (think Republic of Gilead). And then it got really surreal toward the end where somehow I found myself naked on a flying dragon (connected to the amazon army on Mars from the other dream?) and declared myself the ***** of Babylon as we attacked a navy ship staffed by religious fanatics (and I could see from the dragon's POV as much as my own). The most haunting to come to mind is where I had a "dragon guide" (not sure if an Eastern dragon or a feathered serpent), and was male (I suspected it might've been my Scorpio Jupiter) that was trying to transform (and me with it), but faced horrid nightmares, including at the end where we were being chased by a huge female dragon out to kill us all while me and a friend rode on the good dragon's back into the moon, trying to transform before the lady dragon (possibly pure Scorpio energy) caught us. I was really frustrated when I woke up from that one at that moment, before it could be resolved one way or another.

I forgot to add this pic yesterday: It's from the Forgotten Realms. I just love this image, and may try to get a poster of it (which probably needs to be made) one day. IP: Logged |
