World's Ugliest Dog?

Yes, he's real. He's blind, a pedigreed Chinese crested, is now 14 years old and in poor health.

You can check him out at snopes, too, though this stuff came from Resource Investor.

Hmm, pics won't post, so here's the link: http://www.resourceinvestor.com/pebble.asp?relid=10958

Gee i hope it's not entered into the 'Dog most like it's owner' competition. There'd be worse pictures if we could look at the ugliness inside some humans.
I agree with the previous post 'he's still somebody's baby' other owners may have euthanised a dog which needs extra care.

Sam passed away on Nov. 21st and i'm sure has left a big hole in his owner, Susie's heart!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!

Poor thing!! He looks like he woulda been a fighter. Not as in scrapin', but holding on. He had many things wrong with him and to live the ripe young age of 15, says alot about his will to live. Also about the care that his owner gave him. My heart goes out to his owner, Susie! May she find comfort from friends and family across the world during this sad time.

**I dont think she realized how much love there was out there for lil Sam.

R.I.P. Sam!!

Awww. I didn't know he died. I heard that his owner got him because he turned away at a shelter because they didn't think he was adoptable and she felt sorry for him.

I show a dog atthe vet once that could be the next World's Ugliest dog: poor thing was very stocky with a massive hump back and his head hung very low and downward, hiss fur was all different lengths with the patch on his shoulders real scruffy and sticking up, and he had a severe underbite with his bottom canines jutting out. He look more like a huge boar than a dog. In fact I had to take a second look to make sure it was a dog and not a boar! Yet his owner obviously loved him - he was at the vet for his yearly check up.
