@Athene: As I went over with you at length, the sources of Theosophy have some serious issues : The Galactic Federation of Light

When issue's of Faith/Belief are used as ones objective proof, please carefully consider these quotes:

"Faith: not wanting to know what is true."
(Friedrich Nietzsche / 1844-1900)

"Faith, n. Belief without evidence in what is told by one who speaks without knowledge, of things without parallel."
(Ambrose Gwinett Bierce / 1842-1914 / The Devil's Dictionary)

"A faith that cannot survive collision with the truth is not worth many regrets."
(Arthur C. Clarke / born in 1917)

Any other Theosophists on LL?

It would be nicer if we could discuss religious concepts without name calling, saying others are unenlightened or crazy, or otherwise taking offense. I can understand that human ego won't allow that and I'm ok with a little bickering as long as it isn't constant. And sometimes it's ok to let a matter drop, I've let more than one bickering contest I get into drop because I asked myself if it was important or just a distraction, and if I decide the latter then I'm usually happy to let the other person have the last word and instead focus my energy elsewhere.

I referenced a thread how I was visited by Freya. Back then She was unquestionably real. I knew most people wouldn't believe me but I don't recall it ever bothering me. I recall being amused sometimes that people could believe in say Jesus but not Freya. I didn't feel sorry for anyone for not believing in Freya, or insulted, or consider them unenlightened. There were a few Christians who promoted their own heaven and mythos who discounted mine out of hand but I usually handled that with a sense of humor (ok, often snarky sarcasm, but I was a teenager!).

And I'm a Libra who likes to balance the scales (with Sag making me more blunt about balancing the scales at times than is wise). If someone promotes a belief I'm inclined to promote a contrary view. At the same time if someone promote disbelief then I can argue the opposite. For example, that same guy who made me think it was possible Jesus didn't exist at all also once told me of a brain machine that could make people feel the presence of God (and thus proved "God is just in the head rather than perceived"). I said that wasn't proof God/dess didn't exist just for being artificially induced (which, btw, many shamans of old have done in less technological ways and many church rituals imitate some of those methods) as brain machines have also allowed blind people to experience seeing and that doesn't mean visible light and all that we see doesn't exist. Luckily he's one of those Aquarians that love mental stimulation as much as I do so we can talk about these things pleasantly.

And if we really don't fear the light (that is, objective rather than subjective truth), and if we can really step beyond our own ego, then we CAN talk about these things without distress and can find it stimulating.

And btw, I DO think it's relevant to point out that we can't know if Jesus was married when we're not even sure he existed. Now if Randall had added, "Assuming Jesus existed..." THEN I wouldn't have said anything about that at all.

I will ask Immanuel to pour some light rays into your mind to give you intellectual freedom. Saint Germain to pour some violet rays into your auric field to eliminate some karma so you can see the truth clearer, and I will ask Akasha to fill your heart with gentle joy and love to help you come closer to the oneness that you are searching for. But that is all I can do at this point. I decided I can't continue to come to this website. I am just not in the same place as most of you and it's time I move on. Take care everyone.
