Hey Unmoved! So glad to see your face around here, and thank you so much. I checked out your music a while back when someone posted your last.fm profile- gorgeous stuff, poetry.

Gypsee, it really is so true! Scorpios LOVE being Scorpios - same with Sag & Leo, exactly. The image of you I have in my mind is SO SAG- all selling your wares from your belt at the fair and then schoolin' the boys at pool. I love it!

Similar to men who hate being The Virgin, I met a guy at All Tomorrow's Parties in NY who was a Cancer, and when I asked his sign he said "terminal illness."

Feel free to rip-off my summary.

Chiron is prominent in my chart, yes.

Hope you feel better soon.

Hi! Hmm. I might be an exception to the thought that Scorpios are proud of their sign. Most of the time, I feel almost guilty...

Gypsee, he was an interesting guy! Cancer sun, Aries Moon, Gemini Mercury and Venus with a Leo Mars. He was convinced aliens were monitoring him from space, definitely a character and funny, too.

ABC, why do you feel sorry? All the solar Scorpios I know are kooky and interesting!

Yin, I'm so glad you like it! Those moon sign necklaces are a big hit- a lot of people tell me they like them because it's astrology jewelry that doesn't shout it out to the world. It's self referential but doesn't necessarily open you up to spiritual judgments/unwanted conversations, etc. I never thought of that when I dreamed them up, but it's a good point. Thank you again!

DTM, I'm going okay. I found out about a week ago that my Libra friend/ex is infatuated with a woman he hooked up with while he was in Chicago. I had to take a few days there to kick myself, haha. How are YOU doing?

Oh god, my thread is boring, isn't it?

Could someone bring some dancing elephants in here, a few chimps on unicycles?

People generally don't think of me as kooky or interesting.... quite the opposite really...

However, it's good to talk to you and your son is so cute!

Aww, I'm sorry to hear about the guy situation. I see that you do have other prospects, with all of the Sags in MA that should be fun!

Nothing is really new with me, but I do have a job interview tomorrow (fingers crossed). The job thing has completely taken over my life so even when I try to think about dating, men, commitments, it all comes back to that!

ETA: okay, a trio of dancing elephants

Hey Aerial;
Your thread is NOT boring! Just remember you have to keep adding to it and changing topics, so peeps will read and then write! Right?
Anywho, I thought of you the other night, (which is strange, no? thinking of someone you've never met, but only spoke to a few times online, it's great tho!)
So, my friend, uh, I'll call her aqua, she was given three jewelry chests that were her grandmas, passed down to her mom, who didn't want them because there wasn't anything "real" in there. Ha, Ha, metal isn't real now? Anyway, she let me dig through it, and I had to restrain myself, as you could imagine, placing yourself in my shoes for a sec. I wanted to just give her some duckets and take the boxes and run home, throw it on my bed and roll around naked on it. JUST JOKING! But she does this flea market with me on sundays, and I knew she could get alot more selling each peice individually. Some stuff needed minor fixing, which I gladly did. In exchange she let me dig through and take some stuff.
I got these cool Buddha earrings, in his lap he is holding a round peice of jade. They are clip-on, but no prob to change to pierced hangies.
And this square silver medallion, made in Italy, of Jesus and Mary, and perhaps Joseph. It's cool. Saggies are usually fascinated with religion, sure you knew that.
And lets see, two GIANT round turqoise medallions, one larger than the other, so intricate and gorgeous. You also know saggies love their turqoise, right?
And lastly, my peice de resistance' yea, I know I spelled that wrong, is a bronzy gold, with brown enamel round pendant of a Centaur! Yay! Don't know why, they had no saggies in the family, but who knows how jewelry comes into ones life, thats part of the intrigue I think!
Anyway, my daughter took the digital, thats why I am typing these descriptions instead of picturing them to you. Plus I suck at that. The pic sending.
But anyway, I was lonley tonight and thought I'de bump you up a bit for a chat. You SAID it was ok to talk about jewelry on your thread!! See what you did? Yaak, Yaak, Yaak!

LOL Gypsee! I am SO JEALOUS- of your friend AND you for getting to rummage through it! Three jewelry CHESTS? I've got a girl boner just thinking about that! I can totally relate to your urge to roll around in the shinies naked, haha! Is that a fire sign thing?

And your loot sounds amazing! Jade is one of my favorite gemstones, it's one of the planetary stones of Venus.

I LOVE catholic imagery, as scary as that can sometimes be to people. Sure, it's all dark agey and macabre, but maybe so am I a little, haha.

Do those round turquoise medallions match? I'm imagining wearing them both at the same time with my favorite pair of jeans and this white boatneck flutter sleeve tunic I have!

And oh, the centaur! That sounds AB SO LUT LEY gorgeous!!!! Strange with no Saggies in the family that your friend had that; maybe a mythology buff? Or maybe someone with a horseman fetish? Considering how much I love me some Sag men, I could probably be included in the latter.

Thank you for bumping me! I desperately needed to be brought back to earth because there is a new man in my life whose got my Pluto-Neptunian head so far up in the clouds I might get lost up there and never come back!

EEEE ABC thanks for asking and indulging my "mentionitis," haha. My date went wonderfully- SO WONDERFULLY. I've seen him once more since then (Friday and yesterday, each for 7+ hours) and we talk almost daily. I'm trying to keep things under control since we're both recovering from year-old serious relationship failures, but we seem to be hurdling toward each other at full speed. We just talk and talk and talk, and want to be around each other all the time! When we're together so much time passes without us even noticing. Our connection is so magnetic, it's intoxicating.

He's 34, 7 years older than me, and a dedicated student of Vipassana meditation. He's a really spiritual, disciplined guy with beautiful big brown eyes, creamed coffee colored skin and big, strong hands. *fans self*

Here's his chart, note the Mystic Rectangle between Pluto, Neptune, Venus & Jupiter:

and our synastry (50% orb, I'm the Aries):

Hell girl, I'm so pleased! You have some seriously nice conjunctions in your synastry. Venus/Mars. Venus/AC. Saturn/NN. Your Eros in his 8th conjunct Vertex. Nom nom. His Valentine in your 7th. Your Amor and Chiron in his 5th conjunct Juno. *cue Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye*

You know, I like you. You seem like a top girl.

How's it going since you wrote this? Loving the high school pic. I'd post one of me in high school but I fear it may explode the screen.

WOC, I am so pleased tooooooo. Oh boy, too pleased. I've never had such consistently positive synastry with a person I was romantically involved with, which might have to do with my own generational conflicts natally (Sun opp Pluto, Sun opp Saturn, Moon sq Pluto, Moon sq Saturn, just to name a few). Why didn't it occur to me to date outside of my peer group before? Maybe this will be a new theme for me.

I would LOVE a little sexual healing, but as I mentioned before he's a dedicated Buddhist and is actually celibate at the moment. He says he likes to keep his energy "inside" because without it he loses his balance, and that he won't have sex at all unless he's in a relationship he believes may lead to life long commitment. I'll let you know how long it takes me to change his mind! Just kidding (maybe)!

And I dig you too, WOC! There have been a handful of people here on LL I've felt an instant liking for, including you!

I'm actually cleaning my entire house today in preparation for the Earthy Monk coming to visit and cook me dinner here on Thursday night. On our first date he brought me vegetables from his garden instead of flowers!

oh siiiigh.

Hi girl!

Trying to remember your questions. Let's see is it a fire sign thing to roll around in shinies naked? Er, no, it's a fire sign thing to roll around naked period. (wink)

Yeah, I like the Catholic imagery too, but I guess cause that is my childhood religion, although, I am seriously lapsed.

I can't remember at the moment which saint it is, I'm thinking Agnes, but I can totally be wrong, anyway, there is a saint that people pray to who have husbands or lovers who have, shall we say, the wandering eye? Anyway, I made a charm bracelet for a girl with some St. (Agnes) charms on it that I got super cheap at a bead store. I used Rose Quartz in it. she loved it and said it worked for her, so who knows? Maybe just the power of suggestion.

The turquoise you asked about (dang wish i could show you) remember when I said one was larger than the other? Well, they are identical except for the larger one has an extra ring of turqoise stones set around it like spokes in a wheel.

The centaur, I just don't know what I'm gonna do with him. Hopefully soon I can get that camera back and show it to you and maybe you can give me some ideas...

Awesome with your new romance! I hope things continue to go well for you. And he cooks too! Dang, I've never found one that can do more than warm up soup! Good for you! Best Wishes!

Drat!

Aww, veggies from his garden. How lovely is that? He sounds like a complete doll.

I just read your thread on Astro about that guy that messed you around. Bloody hell. That's horrendous. Can't imagine a worse scenario to be honest. Pity he had to involve a genuinely good person in his scumbaggery. Poor chicita. Does not sound like Buddha Boy would ever do a thing like that. Perhaps this is why you're excited. Sounds like he regards sex quite highly, which is probably what you need, in order to trust again. He sounds healthy and respectful. He's not likely to give it away to a drunken 19 year old huh? Plus anyone that grows veggies is alright by me. Veggies are like children, requiring investment and nurturing and patience. Precious gift, therefore, to be made a present of some.

I am quite a fan of the older man. So much so I can't seem to connect with anyone my own age anymore. They seem so lacking in gravitas (my new fave word).

So is your house looking spick and span then? I wish you well in this new friendship, really I do.

Hey Aerial! Wow –your guy sounds amazing and great synastry – Venus and Neptune on Asc/Dsc Axis, no wonder why he is so dreamy! Veggies from the garden <swoon>, that is so different, thoughtful and green (my Aqua rising loves that!). I am with you on the older man tip, and I didn’t think of the outer planet square/opposition possibilities by generation…

Thanks for the positive vibes but today I got a rejection letter Oh well, it was not something I really wanted to do anyway (assistant marketing director – so not me). Everything happens for a reason and I decided to take more grad school courses since I can't find a job. I'll be able to get my M.A. in May 2010 (!) so that is the silver lining...

Good luck with the man, I’m glad things are turning around for the better - he sounds like a keeper!

Fases De La Luna, thank you so much! He's really this Mr. Potato Head Half/Half of his father(D) and I, so much so that it's eerie. He's primarily French Canadian(D) & Irish(me!), with some Yankee, Italian, and Abenaki thrown in the mix. And we can blame those big blue eyes on his daddy!

Another interesting thing about D & I is how obvious it is by our charts that Moonie is our son. D & I have identical Ascendants (Gemini, the same by 1 degree) and non-trine fire suns (he's an early Sag and I'm a late Aries) with opposite moons (Cappy & Can-Can)and directly inconjunct Mercurys (Sag & Taurus). Our relationship was a disaster (he's very possessive, jealous, and manipulative- or was with me, anyway) and is an ongoing struggle. The only glaringly positive synastry contact we have is a tight Moon(his)/N. Node(mine) conjunction in Cancer, both of which are conjunct Moonie's Sun- in fact, he fills in the degree between my Node & D's Moon. He was literally BORN OF D and I's Moon/Node, it's mind blowing. I love family synastry!

Here's another pic of Moonie-man, from his first time seeing the ocean!

TRUTH HERE, FOLKS. Were you one of those kids who had to be naked all the time growing up, Gypsee? Because I sure am, I mean, was. Tehee.

I was raised Catholic also, really fire & brimstone Massachusetts Irish Catholic. I disagreed with a lot of the church's ideas from a young age, but still really resonated with the idea of Jesus and the saints. So I went through this period of time in my teens where I considered myself a "rebel catholic" and continued to attend church long after I'd disconnected from a lot of the church's main tenets. I taught Sunday school for a while in high school and even considered going into a convent at one point! After a while I realized my spiritual scope was way, way too vast for Catholicism, although the smell of an inside of a church still reminds me of being a little girl every time.

Your necklaces sound so gorgeous! I'm so jealous! I went camping in VT this weekend with my best friend/soul sister and we drove by so many antique shops and tag sales! I should have stopped and scouted the jewelry! Argggh! At least there's still a bunch more of August left for me to flea market scour. Momma needs some new shinies!!!!!

I will respond to the rest of my messages soon, because I have a lot to say about my new man!!!!!! But for now it's shower time!

Awwwwwww Aeriul Circus, he's gorgeous. I honestly don't know much about the technicalities of astrology outside Sun Signs so couldn't relate much.

He has the most beautiful eyes and looks so happy. You should start collecting boat oars and everything else you can think of coz great luck warding off the women!!!

I read about your Buddha man getting you veggies from his garden, that's so great! I hope you guys have a great time. I love men who can cook.
