Some things to do today:wash a zillion dishes - I have a pathological, psychological aversion to doing dishes. Just thinking about it makes me itchy all over. Usually I do everything I can to avoid making dishes dirty, like eating directly out of pans and things. But I baked a molasses apple pie the other night for BD (did you know the Aerial Circus BAKED?), from scratch, crusts and all, so now my sink is overflowing with nonsense. bake chocolate chip cookies- yes, once I clean the nonsense I will immediately create more nonsense (story of my life). Moonie has a cold and I'm thinking chocolate chip cookies pretty much make everything better, yes? apply for a dozen work at home jobs that are probably scams- a girl can dream, right? I won't even get into my financial situation right now, though I'm sure you can all relate/empathize. Why can't I find someone to pay me to make mix cds, talk about astrology, and run a constant internal philosophical dialogue? call the doctor- dreading. anyone else out there with a neurotic phone phobia? Plus we're having all sorts of issues with our insurance, which may or may not be canceled right now. The public option in Mass requires me to "re-apply" for it every 6 months, I guess just to make sure I'm still poor? And I forget sometimes, I'm so busy, to send that stupid little form out. Maybe I should just print out a few thousand copies of a form letter, and mail one every day, just in case? "Hey sup Government: It's me, Aerial. Still poor, still a single mom, still not scamming the government- can I take my son to the doctor now? Great, thanks." wash my one pair of jeans - as they're currently decorated with the imprint of teething cookie mush in the shape of a tiny hand. get pretty- BD is a pretty crunchy dude, he prefers me without makeup and not to shave my legs and things. Which is lovely for me and one of the many reasons I adore him so much, but I usually end up being contrary for the heck of it and getting gussied up anyway. Story of my life, yet again. record vocals- DL and I's current musical project is deconstruction of old girl group music (possibly my favorite genre of music ever). I sing, he drums, and our friend Tony plays the organ. We slow everything down, I sing low and verrrrrrrrrrrrrry slowly, and we run my voice through a reverb pedal to make it sound like I'm underwater. This is the song I have to record by Friday, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HxcZ-IZJts , one of my favorites. Ronnie <3 fret- I do this well. IP: Logged |

Wow he really looks like his Dad in the bath pic.....um, can I have him, I promise to return soon! I just wanna squeeze him up a bit, and feed him some candy, and play on the floor, buy him really loud toys, and viola' he's back to you again!!!You really shouldn't tempt me with photos like these, I could get baby fever and run out and get myself pregnant. ( picture that, I running down the street, screaming, "viable eggs here, anyone???) I am compulsive that way. And I love dishes, my fave chore. So if I'm ever your roomie in another life, that will be my job. As long as you take vacuuming, I HATE doing that. I Always suck up large items and break sweepers. IP: Logged |

Oh lord, he's lush. Just one thing though, I don't think his eyes are blue enough, or large enough in his face. Could do better there. My god, his eyes are like dinner plates. Awesome!!! IP: Logged |

Whoo, and look at that CHART, too! Frankly, you're lucky you're this child's mom instead of one of the 70 zillion lovelorn, brokenhearted suitors in his future. IP: Logged |

Oh man, Lucia, it's ALREADY STARTED. He's 14 months old and he's already had his first kiss! At a BBQ this summer, a 4 year old girl sat down next to him on a blanket, said, "You have pretty eyes, I love you" and kissed him on his lips! It's kind of scary how some behavior is just ingrained in us since birth (another argument for astrology's relevance, I guess- that Venus cnj Eros in the 1st is killer). He can't even speak in full sentences yet, but he already knows EXACTLY how to charm women. He can already make "flirty" eyes and somehow knows how to lower his head to the side coyly and bat his eyelashes. Everywhere we go, women of all ages stop in their tracks when they see him. And if they don't? He's ON it- he makes sweet faces and bats those eyelashes and smiles until they do. He is DANGEROUS- I'm already bracing myself for all the poor, heartsick teenagers who will one day be calling my house ad nauseum. When's a good time to have "the talk?" 6, 7 years old? IP: Logged |
