How tight of an orb would you consider, Rosalind? My Taurus moon is conjunct my DC by less than 20 minutes so that must affect my appearance. Pluto is conjunct my Scorpio Asc by 3 degree so I figure that would too. My Sun/Mercury are conjunct my MC but by a lesser degree. Reading this for sure makes sense as to why I do not look so harsh/intense as you might think with Pluto conjunct my Scorp asc as it would be softened by my moon/dc conjunction.

I have Mars in Cancer and it definitely does not influence my appearance. It doesn't touch my chart ruler, Jupiter; it doesn't touch my ASC either, only a sextile to my MC for angle aspects.I agree with previous posters. Only your chart ruler and the planets conjunct/making aspects to it, and/or planets conjunct your ASC in the 1st or 12th house, will create a noticeable affect on your outward appearance.
