do you think the sign your mars is in could be responsible for how you look a little bit?

i wondered if any one had known anyone who looked a little bit like there mars sign, i mean the mars sign is also the ruling planet of the first house, house of self?

hmm..yes Mars in the natural ruler of the first house..but the cusp of the first house can be ruled by any giving planet depending on what sign the cusp falls on.

Like Pisces AC, Neptune rules Pisces then look to what ever sign Neptune is in.

But my own AC is at home in Aries also with Mars in Aries but in the 12H.

So i think any planet can color ones looks. But i see where you are coming from with this LibraLove.

oh yeh, there is that, but i mean, mars is the domicile of the 1st house, so i was thinking it could also influence your looks based on the sign its in

Maybe. People always tell me I look like a Libran. I'm very Aries (Sun< Merc & Venus) - with Aries Ascendant, but ruler Mars is in Taurus which is Venusian, which could link to the Libran thing. I should look really really Aries by all accounts, as Sun conjuncts Ascendant.

my mars is in virgo, i don't think i look like a virgo or anything, although its possible i have a slight virgo look to my leo looks (my leo is in the 1st house, and my 1st house/asc is in leo too).

You a Leo sun right? But i thinks the Mars in ones chart does attribute to physical appearance come to think of it but with a twist depending on how well aspected it is in ones chart just a thought.

I don't know about the sign itself, my mars is in aquarius, BUT I do know that my mars conj venus in aquarius effects how I look.
In that men find me attractive, I always attribute it to this. [Virgo rising, no great bestower of beauty, uranus/pluto in 1st, unusual/sexy] But that people tell me I'm pretty must be that venus is on mars(Praise the Lord!!). It must be the next best thing to having venus in the 1st.

my Mars is in the vfirst house and rules the muscular system... thats why i always has a easy time when i used to bodybuild... heres some pics of what mars in the right placement can help you acheive...

I don't know about looks-wise but I think you can see Mars in the overall demeanor.For instance someone with Mars in Gemini is going be wired and someone with Mars in Taurus(myself included)is more laid back.Actually you may see it in the physical appearance where with Mars in Taurus my body is more on the 'fleshy' side and just slower to move,and probably gives off a more 'grounded' vibe as I am pretty laid back--whereas someone with Mars in Gemini may have a literally 'wiry' build.And Capricorn is known for their great bone structure.I get confused as to whether it's the ascendant,Venus,Mars,etc. which is responsible for one's looks,appearance.Who knows,it's probably a combo of a lot of things...

Sometimes I think Mars is the second most important planet after the sun. Your energy, stamina, ambition,viality are all linked to Mars. I think all these things are pretty apparent to most people - just as much as the personality traits that our Sun gives us.
I don't think Mars influences our looks directly but it may give us a certain vibe or charisma.

Based on what I read about astrology and anatomy, Mars can influence how you look if you were to have dark thick hair, reddish and oily skin. Also, as a previous user pointed out, those who are Mars dominant tend to have square jaws and bodies.
