I am attracted to conventional beauty: afterall, there is a standard of beauty, even a planet for it - Venus. Not because it is largely agreed upon, but because it is beautiful so most agree upon it.

I look not at their body - sculpted to perfection or what not. I like their face, and spirit. Not even their clothes. Beautiful clothes and a good body does not make them automatically beautiful.

Some conventional beauties to my liking:

Emma Watson
Isla Fisher
Brad Pitt
Matt Dallas
Zac Efron

and the list goes on.
I spot beauty a mile away; in a partner, it's the spirit way more.

I don't like unconventional beauty. Like bee stung lips, goth or plastic surgery (even if it means to LOOK conventional). Ugly + Ugly does not equal beautiful. Neither is ugly plus scary. Unique is exciting, but not necessarily beautiful.

I def. agree on looks mimicking their inner beauty. Someone with great inner qualities are automatically beautiful IMO. Those who act pretty, doll themselves up, but reek of snakes intrigue me - I've met some, and they're fallen and ugly.

i don't even know what's conventional beauty these days. and it could be a lot of things that determine whether someone is attracted to quirky physical characteristics. sometimes it's astrological, sometimes it's just coincidence.

my venus in virgo is supposedly really picky, but if you were to look at the people that i've been attracted to, you'd probably think that i'd have no standards because they all look different, have different personalities. granted that i get a lot of crap from my family and friends because they think that i can do better and it just annoys the hell out of me.

someone said that scorpios look for deeper connections and don't really pay much attention to physical appearances. and i think that's it! this is true for me.

shoot, i'm secure enough to admit an attraction for a transgendered woman, an older woman, a thicker woman, a thin woman, etc. i'm just about able to find beauty in almost everyone. i can even appreciate male beauty without feeling threatened or anything. i don't know if this because i have uranus conjunct neptune in my 8th house or because of my convictions. so who knows, really.

What are conventional beauty standards?
Finding someone outside of your ethnic background considered non-conventional ? or are we talking about going outside of the typical; blonde hair, blue/green eyes image?
