I am not sure if sign placement of the Ascendant figures into appearance. Some Astrologers use the Sidereal Zodiac,
and they use the Ascendant in sign for appearances too.

That's why I included aspects to my Ascendant.

Ascendant in 13'27 Virgo
conjunct transneptunian dwarf planet, Haumea 11'16 Virgo (otherworldly,feminine,ethnic appearance..named after Hawaiian goddess)
square Heliocentric Uranus Nodes in 13'51 Gemini/Sagittarius (unconventional appearance)

In Right Ascension (Equatorial Longitude which astronomers use instead of Ecliptic Longitude):

Ascendant in 14'45 Virgo
square 2003 AZ84 in 14'43 Gemini (with it being a plutino like Pluto, an otherworldly,intense appearance)
square Heliocentric Venus Nodes in 15'15 Gemini/Sagittarius
sextile Mercury in 15'32 Scorpio (this could reflect my youthful appearance and can
appear studious, especially when wear glasses)

Glaucus/Raymond - hmmm I don't know.. With you I'd guess something like Capricorn Sun and Aries or Libra Asc. I don't think you look a lot like your Sun/Moon in Scorpio & Pisces (I can't remember the rest of your chart).
Although there IS something watery about your eyes.

That's one of the reasons why I don't put any emphasis on Ascendant sign when it comes to looks nor any other zodiac sign placement for that matter.

Winona Ryder was born on the same day as me, and so she has Sun,Mercury,Venus in Scorpio and Moon in Pisces just like me. She has Sagittarius Ascendant.

there is a site called astrofaces. There is a lady with same Sun,Moon,Ascendant sign combo as me, but she is a blue eyed blonde.

a couple of weeks ago, a maternal first cousin of mine told me that I look just like our grandfather. He had Sun in Cancer, Moon in Pisces,and Ascendant in Scorpio. He was Portuguese.

My mother told me that I look like my father, and he was a black man. medium to dark brown skin. He had Sun in Capricorn,Moon in Pisces combo (just like both Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Elvis Presley).

My Sun in Scorpio is modified with a cazimi (in the heart of the Sun) to transneptunian dwarf planet candidate/plutino Ixion,conjunction to transneptunian dwarf planet candidate Quaoar trine to the Moon,quincunx Saturn. In Declinations, contraparallel transneptunian dwarf planet candidate/plutino Orcus. Sun is conjunct the South Eris Node (both geocentric,heliocentric). In Right Ascension,the Sun is conjunct Quaoar,oppose transneptunian dwarf planet candidate Sedna as well as quincunx transneptunian darf planet candidate Varuna.

My Moon in Pisces is modified with trine to Sun-Ixion-Quaoar conjunction,square the opposition of Saturn-Varuna conjunction and Jupiter-Neptune conjunction,and sextile Sedna(both in regular chart and Right Ascension)

i am on the right....
i'm a cappy with taurus rising with jupiter conjunct 21degrees
my friend on the left is a leo with leo rising venus conjunct her asc.
