Hi Starkiss, There are many methods to remove abundance blocks. The easiest is to use Affirmations, written or said aloud, about releasing any block that prevents Abundance/Love/Happiness/Health/You name it into my life. Forgiveness Meditations can help remove blocks. We must attain a very relaxed state preferably through deep breathing and mentally see any and every block removed from our Aura [as a rock or debris, flowing out of the Crown Chakra]as we affirm "I forgive myself for creating blocks and obstacles in my life". The third step is increasing the intensity of abundance visualizations. After the communication with Lexx, I introspected and realized that I had not done a single abundance visualization in 2010. I was taking things for granted. Months ago, every fortnight I would do some visualization or the other for increasing abundance in life. My friend had even posted this powerful visualization in LindaLand in the Labours of Love forum. Taking abundance for granted leads to mental laziness and ennui, which are sure shot blocks. The fourth and a very powerful technique is to connect to the higher Self of loved ones, via your own Higher Self and pray that abundance blocks from their life be removed. By the Hermetic Law of Correspondence, as their blocks get released, your blocks get released too. A variation of 4 is to visualize heavy abundance in the life of others, and feel the emotion of joy in your Solar Plexus as if you have received what you visualized for them. There may be more techniques but I stick to these 5 ways. Forgiving Oneself for another's problem and Connecting to the other's Higher Self via one's own Higher Self to request help is the most powerful technique I know. This is what I applied to try and help Cynnared. I am certain it contributed, I hope to elaborate this technique to everyone here. [Diandra mentioned a Hawaian practice named Hoo Pono Pono that works thus ] This technique can even transcend Astrological harsh transits. ------------------ http://tamsoft.co.in/articles.html Readings IP: Logged |

wheels of cheese Thank you! Here is an example of what I do not endorse. I have no problem with wealthy folks, but in my opinion, for all they purport to be altruistic philanthropists; I just cannot help to feel that it is all more self serving and greed based than even they would admit. I feel that like many of these kind of folks, they have become "lost" within their own overblown empire which has become more about selling then actually helping folks. I hope that made sense. iQ.. What you posted is what I have been doing for decades. Of course not all my terminology is identical with yours, but the theory and practice are basically the same. However it is not working completely for me, yet I do continue doing it all every day. I shall comment on parts of your post. quote: After the communication with Lexx, I introspected and realized that I had not done a single abundance visualization in 2010. I was taking things for granted.
That is one area in which you and I differ. I NEVER take good things even small things in my life for granted. Never! I am always grateful for what I do have and give thanks continuosly for it all! For me, not appreciating and or taking things for granted just seems rather illogical. I am happy to have helped you do some introspection! {{{hugs!}}} quote: Months ago, every fortnight I would do some visualization or the other for increasing abundance in life. My friend had even posted this powerful visualization in LindaLand in the Labours of Love forum.
I saw the posts. quote:
Taking abundance for granted leads to mental laziness and ennui, which are sure shot blocks.
Then why am I still struggling in far too many areas of my world? Like I said, I never take good things for granted. I have never stopped visualizations and all, for good things to come to me and others too. Maybe one can keep abundance by doing all that, but getting to that point seems to be another issue. I met my beloved by using a form of visualization/summoning. Many other small things have come, like a comfortable chair for myself recently, a $200 chair that I got for only $8!!!!!!! In fact I got two of them! Being disabled I really needed such an ergonomic chair! I keep doing the affirmations and all...and looking for the time when the rest of needed things will come. Even though I often am bed bound, I still can see better things coming to me and mine. I just get so exhausted and down with the waiting and waiting while things are not so good. Thanks again for your reply. ------------------ Everyone is a teacher... Everyone is a student... Thank you for understanding! Yes, the core message is meaningful. There are many others out there whom I find that their core message is meaningful, but do not condone how they go about promoting it. It seems to be more about them, their organization(s) and products etc. When I get my/our books published, Neither of us wants to be the focus, we want our messages and stories to be the focus. So we have already decided we may publish under pseudonyms...and we will by choice not be doing book talks or do talk shows or whatever. Yes, refusing to become faces in the media could very well hinder the selling of any of our works. However we feel that what we have to say should be the focus, not us, for we are only the messengers and do not seek fame and personal attention from the public. I hope that made sense. ------------------ Everyone is a teacher... Everyone is a student... Learning is eternal. }><}}(*>

I agree, LEXX.I watched a few of those Abraham Hicks videos a while back, and the woman gave me a very bad feeling. I see this a lot with self-help gurus.. what happens is, somebody will pose a question, and the "guru" will "translate" their question into the terminology endorsed by the cult, at which point the problem or question appears to have solved or answered itself. The crowd laughs, the person asking the question looks embarrassed, laughs nervously and pretends to agree (maybe pretends to him/herself, as well), and sits down. Nothing has been accomplished. The problem or question will return only to be repressed again and the person will feel like an unevolved idiot for even thinking there is a problem. :/ I know someone whose parents are really into the whole Abraham Hicks phenomenon. Well, the mother is. The father isn't so sure anymore. The son, meanwhile, is living in New York City at the parents' expense. He has big plans to become an artist, and although he rarely makes art, he says that as long as he repeats these affirmations, it will just happen. I wonder how many other artists are saying the same affirmations. Maybe he will have to compete with them to say more affirmations in less time, and he can forget about developing his art altogether. His mother sure seems to think he has the right idea, although mom and dad fight a lot about the money they're shelling out in the meantime. I do think it helps to have a positive, forward-looking perspective, but I think expectations, whether they are optimistic or pessimistic, are dangerous. I think we do set certain metaphysical laws into motion, and we even create them to some extent, according to what we believe about them. But the light of consciousness does not easily determine what goes on in the unconscious, or in the world, for that matter -- consciousness arises from the unconscious, and we see only what our unconscious mind allows us to see. We imagine that we are in control, and that is perhaps the greatest part of our blindness. I agree with Nietzsche and Jung.. rules and teachings ultimately block reception to the full life of the intuition, which is more or less rooted in unpredictability. It is its wholly otherness which makes it a divinely potent agent of transformation. God is something that happens to us. It's not about being a helpless victim. It's about having the courage to admit your powerlessness -- to admit that you may have power over everything, over the whole world, but, -- you will never have power over the one thing which you ultimately crave, which is Spiritual Life, or Grace. And maybe this is only true for me, or for people like me. Perhaps this is how we are meant to see it, because our relation to spirit is one of receptivity and not actualization. Perhaps other ways work just as well for others, and we are as foolish as they are to think that there is only one right way to look at it. There may be only one right way for me to look at it.. but that may be the wrong way for somebody else to look at it. I honestly don't know. But I endeavor to find my way. Not The Way. Just, the way that works for me. The more I read the works of "the wise" the more I see how they disagreed with one another, lol, and that wisdom is not some abstract, objective reality that we come to terms with, but, that it is very much a personal matter. One man's wisdom is not another man's wisdom. And if we try to adopt another man's wisdom, not just taking a little here and there, but taking it all without questioning, then we set ourselves up for a fall. Listening to yourself is the biggest part of learning. IP: Logged |

The biggest problem with the Abraham-Hicks material is probably not the material itself but the hype created by the movie "The Secret". The core of LOA and Positive Visualization messages are already found for free in works by: Judge Troward Genevieve Behrend Wallace Wattles Raymond Domenech Charles Haanel Napoleon Hill and an amazingly brilliant essay called "Acres of Diamonds", the one essay I will definitely force my kids to read and explain to me till I am satisfied that they have understood it. Must re-read it now, it gives a new insight every time I read it The New Age Self Help Gurus mixed a lot of that stuff with some Deepak Chopra's Bhagvad Gita inspired material, and voila. Millions into their bank account. I must give them credit for making the older and wiser material popular again though.

Valus quote: I agree, LEXX.
Thank you! quote: I watched a few of those Abraham Hicks videos a while back, and the woman gave me a very bad feeling.
Same here, one of the worse feelings I have gotten from any of these kind of people. Something just felt so very wrong, nigh on sinister in her speech patterns and body language. quote: I see this a lot with self-help gurus.. what happens is, somebody will pose a question, and the "guru" will "translate" their question into the terminology endorsed by the cult, at which point the problem or question appears to have solved or answered itself.
Cult/cultish is how they seem to me also. And I noticed that too, the never actually answering any questions or listening to the person(s) asking questions. quote: The crowd laughs, the person asking the question looks embarrassed, laughs nervously and pretends to agree (maybe pretends to him/herself, as well), and sits down. Nothing has been accomplished.
I think we may have either seen the same video, or all her videos are like that. The one I saw made me cry, I felt so very sad for the humiliated woman who was as you described. It was very disturbing how she was treated by Ms.Hicks. And the woman probably paid a high fee to attend Ms. Hick's lecture. quote: The problem or question will return only to be repressed again and the person will feel like an unevolved idiot for even thinking there is a problem. :/
Yes , exactly what I perceive too. Quite disgusting treatment by a supposed good altruistic person, who obviously is not a good person and seems to take rather sadistic delight in humiliating people who came to her for help. quote: I know someone whose parents are really into the whole Abraham Hicks phenomenon. Well, the mother is. The father isn't so sure anymore. The son, meanwhile, is living in New York City at the parents' expense. I know such people too. One guy lives with his parents and does affirmations and all too, but does nothing to assist in changing his reality. His family is like the family you mentioned. And another fellow I know lives in a bunch of cardboard boxes duct taped together, in Sedona, waiting for his mantras and affirmations to bring him good fortune. Well he has been doing that for decades and was almost committed to an asylum after becoming very ill and stinking so badly that folks at first thought he had died. Well he still swears by "Course In Miracles" and other so called gurus....and last I hear of, is still living there, but someone donated a small tent to him to live in. quote: And if we try to adopt another man's wisdom, not just taking a little here and there, but taking it all without questioning, then we set ourselves up for a fall. Listening to yourself is the biggest part of learning.
I agree! And rather than cut copy paste all of your post, I will simply say, I AGREE! ------------------ Everyone is a teacher... Everyone is a student... Learning is eternal. }><}}(*>

I understand. It makes sense to me, to not stress over things that haven't happened yet (even though I do it all the time!), and to let go of the outcome (which, at times, has brought about the desired outcome). My problem with the Hicks' came from their complaints about The Secret, and the inference that they were lied to about the project, as well as complaining about the focus on money (whilst being interviewed in a luxury travel bus). If we do invite everything into our lives, by our vibration, then I would have liked to have read about - in their opinion - how they brought that into their lives, instead of blame being directed at the woman who created The Secret (whether or not I agree with her). They also wrote about it - from what I remember - at the beginning of the book, The Law of Attraction, that was gifted to me (we also have Ask and It Is Given). The cruises are also one problem I have with Louise Hay and her authors. The lectures on cruises (nice, if you can afford it), everyone has to have their own affirmation or oracle deck, etc... (different people like different things, so maybe the decks are a good idea - it just bugged me last year, email after email - books, decks and cruises being pimped). IP: Logged |

I meant to add a thank you to IQ, for mentioning the other authors. I'd seen a post from MVM, about Alan Watts (here, or in another thread?), and thought about asking for older material. I remember trillian mentioning the Seth material, stating she didn't feel the need to read more recent books on the subject; I also used to find the books by people like Normal Vincent Peale, inspiring - I really need to keep this information in my head, otherwise I fall into more negative mindsets, and then kick myself over wasted time, which is, in turn, wasting more time I'm reading The Divine Matrix right now, and had the Abraham-Hicks book out on my bed, not long before crabbypatty mentioned it, thinking about trying an experiment... this, and The Intention Experiment, fascinate me. So, I hope I didn't offend crabbypatty when I posted. I see why you would recommend it, the authors just bugged me with what I mentioned above. to all. IP: Logged |

I can send anyone interested the best of my collections, including my own colour therapy based methods where you remove the Dark Green, Dark Blue and Navy Blue clours out from the Aura and replace with Bright Grass Green, Bright Royal Blue, Pale Pink and Gold colours to bolster Auric attraction of abundance.Of course, nothing works fast without karmic release of past life debts, "focused" money making effort [where there is no MLM but genuine value addition], written goals, written affirmations/intent, constant feeling of the target already having materialized [the feeling of relief and mission accomplishment joy] and constant seeding of money as taught by Reverend Speller. There is also a superb insight from Franz Bardon about "Charging the Akasa/Ether Element" around you, this can also be utilized to visualize currency notes in your Auric Field whenever you are idle. All idle time should be made into visualizing time. I also suggest keeping the desired objects/vacations/knowledge/cash in life as wallpapers and screensavers on the PC. My emails are in the bottom of the Readings page.

I have a burning question about the visualisations. Please feel free to comment. I used to work for a successful company and I was doing great. I wanted to do even better though and started doing affirmations and visualisations about becoming a senior manager. I used wtitten affirmations as well. In 6 months flat the company went t1ts up. Finished. Bankrupt. Gone. I am anable to find a job since. It literally looks like my affirmations completely ruined my career. What the hell did I do wrong? IP: Logged |

hi Allonly now i saw the latest replies. And i felt inspired to write. since some months now that i go to a forum about LOA and IM...there are there a lot of information about it and nice people discussing all kinds of information. i discovered there how i was really just sruviving, and not actually living thie amazing Gift that the Universe gives us to be once more,,,alive. ive only red the secret at first but it wasnt that movie or book that really made me wonder.....it was then when i first starting reading Eckart Tolle. but in order for us to start this,we must really be with an open mind,Egos are not allowed to take the lead(DD dont read the E word now hihihih) sure that when we start this, our Minds will start trying to preach us,and making excuses for us not to believe on what re are discovering,at the same time we are reading. but that is how it goes...all our beliefs, all our "knowlege" about how Life goes, what Life is,Who We Are...gets destroyed really..and this is the most important part we have to do if we want to really "take the blue pill" like in the Matrix. the book that gave me chills by reaind it was The Game Of Life by Florence Scovel.it is avaiable free on ebook: http://www.inspirationline.com/BEWorld/eBook1.htm Abundance is here for everyone. it is WE,with our Minds and Belifs that prevent that the Abundance comes to us....it is hard to believe ( cause it is in our heads since childwood that Life is hard, life is difficult...) but from the moment that you stop it,and you actually take another persepctive in LIfe,it will be the 1st moments of the rest of your lives really... i also loved the books Celestine Prophecy and Conversations with God.Amazing!! This is the forum where i Go to learn more and exchange opinions http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/intention-manifestation/ IQ talked about some information i gave him.i came across that through the forum really.it is an Hawaian technique, used to forgive. it seems that you are forgigin others, because of them but no...we forgive others to forgive ourselves...we are all One. and that is why it works....Forgiveness is the most effective "feeling",besides Love...the most important ones. HO PONOPONO http://educate-yourself.org/zsl/hooponopono25jul06.shtml If you want to know more about that technique search for Joe Vitale or search in the above forum with the words.
LEXX IQ didnt wanted to sound preachy, that is the problem with comunicating through internet..there are no feedback of voice, tone of the words...eyes....we all are here to help one´s another, not to try to force others into our own opinions or acts, that is for sure. IP: Logged | |
