Yes, Amowls but this whole argument started with sun signs, so....

I also think that the 1st house stellium in Cap has a lot to do with it. Are we really saying that his interesting ideas have nothing to do with Capricorn? That's kind of off to me, considering since Capricorn rules structure and so MUCH of his arguments were about the structure OF spirituality itself.
That's like saying Saturn has nothing interesting to say since it's not about the new but the old.
But within him he was able to take those old ideas and transform them at the core for others to see in a new way. To me that is very Capricorn and yeah with all the Aqua/Sag influence.

Well, of course. I'm not saying that the Sun should be ignored. I'm saying, LOOK AT THE WHOLE CHART.

I think we're on the same side here.

Amowls....ah, saw what you just added about sun signs, and I agree 100% . We're on the same page, yes

Jupiter in Aqua , no wonder why I love him, mine is as well. Maybe that's it.

We keep typing at the same time so we're missing the edits oops

The Signs do have similarities to each other because of triplicities and modes and even genders. Ie: Leos and Aquas are all about the ego, they just express it in different ways. Aries and Libras are both Cardinal so they both have leadership qualities. Geminis and Virgos are both ruled by Mercury so they will have those qualities.

I am actually okay with signs being rigid for practical application. A person doesn't have only one sign in their chart (unless you're William S Burroughs, he's like 80% Aquarius).

Saturn is the traditional ruler of Aquarius, let's not forget I always saw Aquarius as not being TOTALLY freaking zany (that's for Pisces), but taking long established traditions and reexamining them (Aquarius is a Fixed sign). Capricorn, being a Cardinal sign would be able to apply ideas.

On paper and by example, the travel association makes plenty of sense to me. My sag best friend just randomly went to Brasil two days and isn't set to come back until August, and my other Sag friend spent a good chunk of the summer in Turkey and Greece...and recently just came back from San Fransisco.

At any rate, like everyone has echoed here its not just the sun placement you look at.....when I speak of Sag being associated with travel I'm talking about the energy of Sag, which is not specific to the sun placement. You can't say that because there are Sag Suns who never roam that therefore Sag cannot be associated with it.

Yes, Amowls, totally true about Pisces...I think they are the most 'out there' ones actually lol.

Yes, I remember the traditional ruler of Aquas being Saturn. This is another reason why I love most Aquas, because they're all about Saturn/Uranus and being able to bridge the old with the new. I have complete admiration for that

Sometimes it's not so much the worldwide travel as it is the mind travel..

None of my Sag/Aqua folks can travel abroad..they just do not have that kind of money or time but they are heavly engrossed in foriegn culture, that I forget they are American.

I can always be taken to some far off place while talking to an Aqua or a Sag..

You sound upset. And prejudiced.

The signs are the way they are, if the people in your life prove otherwise, than that doesn't make you any less of what you are. Why do you feel the need to whine to us, (not trying to be mean) about how adventureous a Cancer is? Have confidence in yourself! You simply have to say, I'm a cancer and for some reason I act like my moon sign! Or something---- But doing what you just did now won't get you far in the astrological community.

I'm a Libra with moon in sagittarius ascendant gemini and mc aquarius. Air dominates my chart and yet I'm attracted to water energy??!?!?! I think this is because of my mars in scorpio!
P.s. you're not alone. My entire family is earth/fire or earth/water. I'm air/water. It makes us unique.

i am an aquarius sun, ascendant, and venus, with multiple planets in the eleventh house, aquarius is about freedom of expression, and not always going along with the crowd. I have always been myself no matter who i am talking to ,i dont put up a front or try to suck up,my friends will tell you that i have no filter,if its on my mind i say it. I am very independent in the sense that i dont need people most of the time to be entertained,i get just as much entertainment out of reading or pursuing my other interests, however i have alot of friends who are mostly unusual or weird by society's point of view,im straight and my best friend is a gay guy. and as for traveling the world ,i think most people would do that if they could, i know i would love to visit every country in the world,so not sure it means you are more free per say, just you have the means to do so.

She totally is. Most people forget that John Lennon's song "Imagine" was based on a poem she wrote.
