I as a cancerian am probably the most independant and freedom loving person I know. I am in no way tradtional and have always rebelled and never cared what other people thought. I believe all of us on here are uranian in some way due to our astrology abilities and unique different approach to life. To us it may seem normal but to others we study something thats very odd and unusual.

Since I dont have any personal planets in Sag or Aqua I dont understand where my love of freedom comes from. Are they the only planets associated with independance and freedom?

Im also very much like a Sag with my love of travel, I have been travelling on my own since I was 15(That isnt typical cancer behaviour) and I am 26 now and still don't know a month Ive sat still and not went on a short distance or long distance trip somewhere for the last 10 years. I make my own money and have lived away from my parents house since 14. I look after myself even th,ough I came from a wealthy family I do not answer to anyone nor do I listen to what others tell me because I have a mind of my own.

I've rebelled against my family all my life and our Turkish and German culture and traditions and being muslim I dont act it either.

My relationship has been an open one for 10 years during this time I have dated others because I dont believe in being 100% faithful till I've committed through marriage. I was willing to have a child out of wedlock and even took an unconventional approach in doing so. I don't answer to anyone at the end of the day and I am very free because I choose to be. I can't be any other way. All my friends are unusual from all different cultures/races and I lots of people everywhere, some being gay, some transexual, some nuns, some covered up muslims, some weirdos and I get along with everyone. I'm very humanitarian myself and have been involved with 3 unions in the banking industry I have worked in. I'm even a big fan of Che Guevara and have all his books and movies on revolution. I believe in freedom and believe everyone should be that way.

Honestly Aquarius and Sagitarius don't have **** on me when it comes to TRAVEL, INDEPENDANCE AND FREEDOM. Just because you act all aloof and cold DOES NOT MAKE YOU independant and free. You think it more than you act it. How many Sag or Aquas do you know that travel the world all the time? How many do you know that are doing something for freedom or a part of an act or organisation against surpression and other means of taking ones freedom?

I don't know any! My dad went to jail with his brothers when they were younger in an attempt to fight against Turkeys religious leaders from making Turkey a muslim covered up country. That's what I call fighting for ones freedom, thats what I call being Aquarian and humanitarian. Being aquarian also means not littering and looking after your environment and a love of humans and animals. I have donated thousands to poor people every time I have been in overseas and I have probably given just as much to the RSPCA.

I come from a Libra father a Gemini mother and an Aquarius brother. Im the only odd one out being a water sign. My brother the aquarius is afraid of leaving Australia and he has mars in Sag as well. He left once to Thailand and has thrown away his passport since. He lives with my mum still and hes 21. In my eyes that's DEPENDANT type behaviour.

So I don't think Aquarius or Sag sun signs are what they're made out to be....

I heavily identify with Aqua and Sag descriptions (I'm an Aqua Sun), but that's because my Chart Ruler is in Aqua, the rulers of my Sun are in Sag and I have a 9th house Sun and Mercury, as well as an 11th house Jupiter with a Sag Mars (and I've said all that repeatedly lol). So, I adore freedom, I reject tradition for the sake of tradition, and I am politically active.

I know another Aqua and he is more Cap like than anything, and that's because of things going on his chart. But he is Aquarian in other ways, such as being incredibly analytical, has a rebellious spirit and quite contrarian. Sun Signs are not the be all and end all, and we all know this. I have a Cap friend and an Aries friend and they are extremely philosophical: they have 9th house Suns, like me. We sit around for hours talking about politics, ethics and morality. My boyfriend has a Cancer stellium and he can be extremely traditional and home oriented, but he loves art and is pretty artistic himself. He has Venus conjunct Mars in his 3rd house in Leo. Another Cancer I know loves to travel (has been to more places than anyone else I know) and is fluent in Spanish and speaks some French. She is an Aqua Rising with Saturn and Uranus in Sag and her MC ruler in her 9th.

Some Sag's can no longer travel because they are spending all their travel cash on thier children. But that doesn't mean they don't travel in other ways.

Find me a Sag that doesn't travel in their heads and I'll be shocked!

I have 3 very close friends that are homeless, all Sag suns.
If that isn't the epitomy of freedom, I don't know what is.
They are perfectly intelligent and physically able to work, but they choose the gypsy lifestyle that appeals to most Sag influenced people.
Since they don't have kids or family obligations, they just move around sleeping here and there, everything they own in a backback.
This would of been me, probably had I not had children.

LOL @ sign bashing ...and NO I'm simply getting a point accross but I don't care if anyone gets offended I already explained I didn't mean it in that way and that I was simply going off by peoples opinions on another thread and if anything Im saying "I" myself have these qualities so how the am I mocking them?

I love Aquarius and Sag they are my fav signs. But now you guys are acting needy and needing reassurance you are loved Is this enough?

your 5 house ruler are uranus and your uranus in Sag and for me that explain one part of it...

I do deal alot with my emotions, actually more my mood swings. Cancer sun just makes me moody. I'm not very kissy touchy though my ex who is a Taurus always complains that I don't give hugs or kisses and when he comes near me I always tell him to P*** off

When it comes to my cat I can't get enough of her though. I kiss her paws and her nose all day, I chase her around asking her nicely for hugs but she's never up for it.

But in the end, I'm also a Cancerian too and I think that plays a factor too. We're Cardinal so we don't well when our autonomy suffers, and therefore we prefer to be self sufficient (or atleast half in my case, I have a job, go to school, and pay for most of my own sh*t... but I still live with mother). We also need space to retreat and reflect on things. When I'm in a bad mood, I don't like being bugged to come do this with someone, or come do that....it's irritating to me when my space isn't respected like that.
