I have Scorp ASC,as I said, and Pluto conjunct the MC in Leo.
I was not aware that the SIGN of Pluto effected HOW Pluto would be expressed.
So, in Leo would it be expressed in a more warm hearted ,magnanimous way?
In Libra--would it be expressed using fairness?
With Scorpio-- would it be "Watch out-- lol?

Yes, Scorpio Risers are the worse. The three that I've met I've had ugly run-ins with.

Scorpio Suns I get along great with most. Scorpio Moons, after the initial clash, we bond...oddly.

Scorpio Venus, I've had ugly run-in with a few.

Scorpio Mars excite me.

I have Pluto in 1st house. Venus & Mars in Taurus.

"I was not aware that the SIGN of Pluto effected HOW Pluto would be expressed."
This is true, we tend to respond in a manner similar to those of our generation and what we were mainly influenced by in our youth, in a general sense.

"So, in Leo would it be expressed in a more warm hearted ,magnanimous way?"
Minus any aspects, Pluto in Leo likes everything big and grand gestures, if they want to do a power trip they tend to snub you in social situations to increase their perceived status, if you're good with them then they give you encouragement and yes they can be very warmhearted, but also incredibly selfish and egotistical, this is the generation that doesn't want to get old, look old in any way and will stave it off due to their vanity for as long as they can.

"In Libra--would it be expressed using fairness?"
Pluto in Libra's big deal is civil rights, gender equality, and true relationship that is honest and may create eruptions in their relationships to facilitate more honesty. They're either with you or against you, relationships are do or die.

"With Scorpio-- would it be "Watch out-- lol?""
Well it's an interesting placement. They're quite assertive overall and seem to be deadly honest, the groups they form seem to be of the blood brother/sister-type, they are loyal, but can be quite sneaky in their intelligence, keen manipulators. Good powers of persuasion.

These are independent of aspects.

"Someone challenged her and she swiftly decapitated him. I am fair, really!"

Priceless.

My Sco Moon and Mars singing along!

oh, the other thing about Scorpio AC and their revengeful, kick you till you're dead ways is that they don't see it.

Lonake,
I disagree. It's like saying anyone who got murdered by Jekyll and Hyde had it coming to them and it was their fault!

So, we have no self-awareness, whatsoever? Sorry, not the case here, and I suspect, with others in this thread...

TEASAL,

OK so you are now admitting that Scorpio has a revengeful, kick you till death side to them - cool!

Self-awareness has nothing to do with it so don't even go down that 'poor scorpio' road. NO ONE should ever feel sorry for a scorpio!

I have trouble associating Scorpio Risers with vengeance based on the ones I've known. They're more into self-preservation which I can totally understand as a Cap Rising with a 10th house Pluto.

Afterall, the Ascendant is the outer mask...I don't think it says too much about inner motivations.

How are we wonderful? I think my Sco moon is a freaking nightmare. It makes me suffer a lot. ****It's like living with your nerves BARE.**** It hurts. It tortures!! It NEVER lets me be in PEACE which I crave. It makes me jealous. I am so fed up with it!

An attempt by another emotionally tormented Sco moon to say: You're not alone STAR!!!

Well, Friends, I have one Scorpio moon friend(male)whom I love.
Scorpio moons are direct and honest. They can be trusted with secrets and trusted to tell you the truth.
I value that greatly.
Perhaps, it is an easier placement for a man than a woman.
I think some aspects are easier for woman such as Mars in Cancer.
With my Mars in Cancer-- if I were a guy--I still be sitting on the couch with the girl on the hundredth date

I am reading a book which says Scarlett O'Hara had a Scorpio ASC.
I think she had it in Leo, too .
What do you guys think?

Nice replies!!! Thank youall SO much!!!

I think the only thing that keeps me from acting is my Pisces sun and my huge Aqua influence...especially Mars in Aqua, I think all these things, but have never acted.

And I do forgive and I do move on and I do see the Phoenix in myself, lord knows I have risen over and over and over.....

and over again....

I just don't like having vengeful thoughts in the first place.

hippi -

You mean you haven't even acted out your devilment? What a rip! I've been picturing you spreading mayhem.

Why do you dislike having the thoughts? Is it experiencing the emotions that accompany them?

Hippi, one other way of looking at a rising sign, is taking the sign on the outside (of your ASC) as the outer "face" that you put on. Look at the ruling planet of your asc sign (ruler of Scorpio is PLUTO) and see what sign it's placed in as to the "inner" personality or "real" personality - without the mask.

My age, Pluto was in the sign of Libra. Basic black and white thinking says Libra can be the opposite of Aries (Aries is a "good" sign)
That person would be all Scorpio-like at first, then a real bad one when you get to know.

*Disclaimer* Yeah, usual!

HA! This is a good one. My son, daughter, and father have Scorpio Asc. (father and son are Scorpio Suns as well) and my Mom has Scorpio Moon.

hee hee. I love messing with them. You can only do this if they love you, btw.

You should see my son and daughter fight, it's really... just WOW!

Scenario:

Daughter: YOU (son) CANNOT use my toothpaste, I BOUGHT IT WITH MY OWN MONEY, because I don't like the cinnomon one Mommy buys, so you can't use it, it's mine!!

Son: Did you let Mom use it?

Daughter: Yes, because I LOVE Mom!

Son: Well, we don't have any more of the cinnomon toothpaste, so you HAVE to let me use it!!!

Daughter: OH NO I DON'T, AND YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!!!!!!!

Son: FINE!! (loud sounds and thumps emerge from batroom)

ME: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT????

Daughter: MOMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Chad just shoved me!!

ME: CHADDDDDDDDDDDD! I told you to keep your hands off your sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Son: WELLLLLL, She won't let me use her toothpaste, so I am NOT letting her use MY sink!!!!!

(sigh, double sigh, kill me now, they are still only 11 and 14)

Firstly, I should state that I am a Scorpio Riser, with Pluto in the first, conjunct the Ascendant. Revenge? A vulgar word. Scanning my memories as I clicked through the pages of this thread I could not really call upon any particular incident in which I sought "payback."

However, I will say that I do have a history of completely cutting people out of my life. Unfortunately. Not very good for spiritual growth, and I am working on it. But yes, if I give you a place in my affections- which is not easily earned- and you hurt me, or disappoint me (by falling short of my expectations for you [which hurts me]) you're done. Sting me once, and I shall never give you the opportunity to do so again. Not out of true animosity, but because your betrayal will affect me so deeply that it will be very difficult for me to recuperate afterwards. It's all about self-preservation. If I know you have the power to squish my little heart with your actions or words, why would I give it to you?

We certainly don't forget. And, though completely possible, it's hard, hard, hard to forgive. But I don't have hate in me for anyone who has done me wrong. Instead, I internalize that hatred, and turn it onto myself for not foreseeing the hurt they would cause. For granting them the power to affect me with their wrong-doing.

Jane I suppose that the "thoughts" are not the disturbing part as much as not being able to let go of them!

hmmmm, maybe I should act on a vengeful thought, then maybe get it out of my system, tho when I do let loose, I always regret it. And don't think I have not a time or two!

Coffee, my Pluto is in Virgo.
