Got that bad boy Pluto on the brain. Which house is Pluto in?
Do you feel that house gets magnified by nuclear proportions
Please give as detailed examples as you can.
Thanks so much

I will start.
I have Pluto in the 10th house.
When I had nothing in life(I felt),I had my reputation.
I had lost most of myself. I was not "on the street" etc with dire outward circumstances but my insides WERE on the street.
The one thing I would not compromise was this--my sense of dignity i.e. reputation.
I thought it was my Grandmother's memory I was honoring cuz she drilled the issue of reputation in my head, as old school people will, lol, but I think it was Pluto in the 10th house.
I am excited to hear your Pluto/house stories.

Scorpio Pluto in 7th Libra house

quote:
Do you feel that house gets magnified by nuclear proportions

Absolutely. I've had 3 long-term relationships that have shaped the adult that I have become and my view on the world. Each relationship changed my life forever once it was over.

Not to mention all the mini relationships and flings in between.

I guess Pluto in there gives the potential for abuse. Yes, I've experienced it but with Pluto, everything is a life changing experience.
I haven't had a relationship for 3yrs so I can't say whether this means that I'll experience it again in my future relationships. Hope not

Pluto must be active.. I was reading about my Pluto last night.. Looking further into it

My Pluto 0Lib
I have Pluto in the 6/7th cusp. Shows in the 6th but in my H7 sign. Its aprox 30 mins before my Dsc line.

Diablo.... I'm with you my realtionships change be also.. Very deep and intense. Even if short lived. Lots of mini relationships and flings.... I have also had 3 major relationships.

I do have power struggles with men, but more so when I was younger.. It was really bad when I was younger...

Pluto also rules my 8th house. So Im working pluto 6-8th... LOL
=========================================
Pluto's energy in your 6th House prompts you to unlock the power you have to
alter and transform your own life through self-improvement. The quality of your life
depends upon the way you handle experiences which may seem to be beyond your
control, like your genetic heritage, or an illness, or the society within which you live.
Taking care of your health through finding the root of real healing power in your life
is one of the most crucial factors you must face. Completely surrendering control of
your life to the will and direction of others will leave you feeling disconnected to
yourself. You can find the right healers, helpers and supporters, but first you must
acknowledge the part you play in these processes.

My Pluto is in the 10th house too, and I'm not sure about reputation but I've always had some issue with authority and I really don't think the problem is me, even though I have rebellious Mars Square Uranus. I always seem to have bosses and superiors who mis-use and abuse their power, and guess who loses because of it? Me. That's why I don't trust them anymore. Ironically, its why advancing in my career is very important to me. I want to be more autonomous in the setting of my work.

And dignity doesn't equal reputation to me. Reputation is man-made, while dignity is something everyone is born with. I could care less about my reputation because I'm not much of a people-person anyways.

LOVE this thread. Thank you for responding!

Letram, I think a 4th house Pluto makes you unearth your childhood .
It makes you mine the past before you can go in to the future.
Benedict--what my reputation means to me is that *I* can respect myself.
Scorpio 17--that must be a hard Pluto placement.
Do you see other ways it manifests?
Perhaps, it makes you go deep within your own unconscious before you can go forward in life.

Well, Scorpio. I am thinking about synastry when I have moon, Sun, Mercury and Venus in his 12th house.
I feel I am IN his unconscious
in some way.
The 12th house is the house of hidden things so I would guess that Pluto would make you dig up your life--in some way--not let you skate on the surface.
It seems like you would have to go within before you could go outward in peace.
It reminds me of 8th house planets which MAKE you go within to turn them on or else they stay dormant.

Pluto just entered my fifth (cusp 5th = cusp Cap.) !!

Pluto in the 4th was ONE BIG DISASTER.
At the end of that ride I had nothing left to lose or live for. I even lost my uterus, some glands and an ovary at age 31 (no kids, no future no nothing). At that time a really hoped I could die, in fact; I expected to die by the cancer I got but unfortunately didn't although I acted like a cat that went off to die alone. My bf at that time (he was my 'light fling' for many years) never contacted me again from the day he heard I had cancer. So, I got cancer and at the same time there was this pain for being left alone (it's still there.... ít's always there).

Yes, after 18 years I'm now in a relationship for six and a half months!!!!
My first REAL one (relationship) was at age 18-21, my second real one is NOW! No light flings anymore. I've had them enough when Pluto was in my 4th. But nothing of it was 'REAL' or significant.. and that's what Pluto in 4 learned me.

Oh MY GOSH
I saw your pix on the thread and you looked like nothing bad could ever touch you.
That was my impression even though it may sound dumb or silly.
I am so happy you found someone special to love and that he loves you.
What is the synastry like between you?

Hi Amy,
Well, it's much better than I had with that 'loser' that left me (FULL of aqua, even Moon).
I think it's great our synastry! His Pisces-Sun in exact trine to my Moon, and his ascendant (Leo) right on my SUN...
and euh.. venus/mars conjunction.. significant nodes-contacts.. yeah great (I hope)

Yeah, the 12th house is a scary house lol. I only have Neptune in it which is supposed to be OK.
The 8th house is a hard house ,too. I have Sun, moon and Mercury there but I think the 12th house is the hardest house to have planets in.
It calls on all of your resources to turn the planets from inward to outward--I would think.
Perhaps, a planet in it's Fall would be like a 12th house planet.
I have Mars in it's fall(Cancer). It feels like what I think of as a 12th house energy.
It feels impotent, sluggish like I need to give it a kick in the rear, like jumper cables

Pluto/9th, square Jupiter, opposite Chiron, square Venus.
The only thing that saves me with this G Square is that it's in Cadent houses.

I am very uncomfortable with Plutonian energy, like a fish out of water, I am lost with this energy, though I do admire people who have successfully integrated it in their charts or have made Peace with it, it has wiped the floor with me.

Regarding it's 9th house placement, I think obsessive is a good word to describe my need for knowledge where Astrology is concerned, and probably why those beliefs have been rigid at times.
There are no halves with Pluto, it's either all or nothing.

Benedict Moon, i have my Pluto in the 10th house and also got Mars/Uranus square too! i can totally agree with this thing with the authority. i seem to have an automatic allergic reaction to anything that resembles it...

my Pluto is also cj. my NN too, i don't exactly know how to interpret it. especially, it's also the top of my Kite. i've never kept a job for more than 1 month, and beside laziness i honestly can't see myself working under someone, even if i wanted to. at the same time i'm not a business type, so i have no clue how i'm going to keep supporting myself long-term... = questionable career. yikes. not so sure what the Pluto's doing in my 10th.

edit:
oh ya, btw Pluto rules my 12th house and Uranus falls near the cusp on the 11th side.

I agree 100 % about the Pluto energy, Lala. I admire woman who can wear it like a comfortable dress lol.
It is my goal to do so, someday.
You know what it is. I was taught that woman should be "nice" i.e. not strong.
I HATE this.
One day I am gonna be a strong Sista
