Glaucus,I clicked on your link, not knowing what it was... and not to be mean, but that was kind of rude of you to post that. When I say it's my second greatest fear, i mean just that. I haven't seen that film since I was about 7, and then you post a scene from it, sending a jolt of uneasiness through me. I know you meant no harm, but that kind of upsets me. IP: Logged |

I am very sorry about that. My humor tend to be morbid at times. I'd laugh at horror films while most people were scared since childhood. any ways..I am very sorry. I was just joking around. I thought you would know the link was on It as I posted it in reference to the Stephen King movie.

Meta4,I totally agree, that our fears come from past lives too!!! Makes so much sense Interesting that your brother also has the ferris wheel uneasiness as I do, and he has Aries Rising like me........... I agree, Glaucus should not have posted that. That was unfair. This thread is meant for support to one another, and even sharing your fear/phobia in the first place is a big step, and no one should make light of it at all. IP: Logged |

Glaucus,It's cool. I should have guessed it was related to the film, but wasn't really paying much attention. At first, anyways. Thank you for the apology. I know you didn't mean to offend. It's just touchy. It is a fear! IP: Logged |

Nephthys,Do you have any inkling as to what happened to you in a past life, relating to your fear? Any... i don't want to say memory, but... any... how to describe... sixth sense? about it? IP: Logged |

Definitely! I've always thought that maybe I fell off of a structure of height and died..........either a building, or something? Maybe even a cliff? or.....maybe even a plane crash? (I do get very nervous when my plane has to land.........and have somewhat of a fear of flying) (even though I love airplanes and airshows, but I guess I just don't trust the workers on commercial airlines) IP: Logged |

Nephthys, I'm the same way. As a kid I would see things in my bedroom that even today I swear I saw. Like a stream of floating shadowy bows and baby booties floating over my bed then over my sister's bed then out the wall. And in the closet I would see shadowy figures of dancing skeletons. I was also terribly afraid of what lurks under the bed.. and thanks to...I think it was Ammityville Horror I was afraid of looking out the window for fear of seeing whatever that monster thing was outside the window lol. I was kinda weaned on horror movies. My big phobia now days is spiders and wasps. I freak out over the smallest spider lol. Had one drop face level in front of me while walking around the house talking to my mom on the phone...on Halloween day of all days ... our conversation was interrupted to me screaming ssssssh1t!! lol. I'm a Virgo but not sure what else contributes to that... IP: Logged |

Winksy, I used to see things all the time too......and I read Amityville Horror and had trouble sleeping for 3 months after......I know which monster you mean exactly. I don't freak out by spiders, I usually rescue them and let them go outdoors, but I was bitten a few months ago in a couple diff. places on my body......the rashes lasted for 2 months and looked like a terrible sunburn, and itched like crazy. Last week found a yellow sac spider on my desk.........thank god I saw him in time before he/she bit me.........looked him up on computer and he was toxic. IP: Logged |

Most Phobias can be cured in 10-15 minutes using the Neuro Linguistic Programming "Swish Pattern" Exercise.Yesterday's feedback from a very talented Canadian girl, with a phobia of snakes. Just 15 years old. << You know about my phobia of snakes? Well it is almost non-existent... ever since I started talking to you..... i do not fear them anymore!! YAY! >> She did not even do the complete exercises, just some positive suggestions to her subconscious Mind worked. Now who wants to be cured? ------------------ http://tamsoft.co.in/articles.html Readings IP: Logged |

Terrified of gray aliens. Like, ridiculously afraid. If I see an image of one I get extremely uncomfortable and creeped out. Alien abduction movies scare the sh*t out of me.IQ explained to me once that gray aliens are like the "bad" aliens of the galaxy and it's possible that I encountered them in my past life. Also not a fan of spiders. Or any type of bug, especially big ones. Flies don't really scare me, but cicadas, crickets, praying mantises, etc creep me out. I don't like crowds, but it's not really a phobia, I just get agitated (lots of air emphasis in my chart?) IP: Logged |

I want to be cured. I was telling my mother that I'm annoyed with myself, because I've known about various things since I was around seventeen years old: everything from the Bates Method for curing eyesight, to the Silva Method, and the past few years, EFT/tapping and NLP (that book "You Can Change Your Life"). I also used to read Norman Vincent Peale's books, to lift my mood. I have done well, to a certain extent, but not fast enough for my liking - mainly because I couldn't maintain a truly positive attitude, and didn't put myself in situations often enough to combat it (or I've been stalled when trying to move forward). I've never been sure what to believe about the Law of Attraction, but I had another experience just days ago, of receiving something I wanted - in a way. My camera seems to have crapped out on me, so I wrote elsewhere about wanting to buy another one, when I could. I specified that I'd love a Canon camera, but that probably wouldn't happen (not the type that I wanted). A friend of my mother's passed along a camera the other night - she had no idea that I wanted a Canon. The only thing is that it's an old Sureshot film camera (I have no batteries or film for it). So, I got my Canon, just not what I actually hoped for. (I'm looking forward to using film again, when I can afford it.) I also hardly ever settle down to meditate, and fall asleep when listening to relaxation CD's (when I remember to put them on). I don't do yoga, although I know I should try to more often. I hardly exercise at all, because I get sick easily. Anyway, I'll edit my tired rambling down later (I've had no sleep). One of my biggest fears that I forgot to mention, is driving. IP: Logged |

Amowls, much respect intended, and I don't want to scare you, but it is very possible that you were abducted in this life. IP: Logged |

Yes I am aware of that. But Gray Aliens have a reputation for being tyrannical. I read that somewhere, and I just tried to google it but too many pictures of them popped up so I had to stop.I feel silly. I think if I ever saw one IRL, I would just die on the spot lol. IP: Logged |

When I was younger.. err 5 yrs ago, lol I was afraid of aliens and abduction. Sometimes even sleeping was hard, but overtime you grow out of your fears. It still bothers me but not as much anymore. I mean on a dark night I still look at the moon and think you rally think the grays have a moon base up there?. It creeps me out but then I have lots of other things to do and forget about it. I like to believe according to abduction witness there physicaly weak, but mentaly strong. So Humans have a chance if theres 5 humans vs 5 grays up close, from a distance maybe not. But, anyway right know I'm more frustrated then I am fearfull of anything. If I could consider myself fearfull I'd be closer to fear of failour. Just because somethings all never do unless I know 120% that it will work. If not all keep working on it until I know it will. amowls,
how prominent is your gemini rising, I think aliens are prominet with most gemini influences in there youth. Humans do have a chance against grays, Travis walton from fire of the sky claims he attack his abducters when close up, and they left the room. Other sources claim he shouted and almost attacked the aliens. Of course the validity is questionable, but in either case they were rally close up to him. If true then maybe they are mentally overpowerd to compensate for there physical weakness. ---------------------------------------- Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun, 5th House Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini Venus In Taurus IP: Logged |
