" popcorn, you think Pisces can handle more full-on romance then?"

if a Pisces Moon person like me can, I don't see why a Pisces Sun person can't.

From the Astrology books that I read, Pisces can be highly romantic types connected to their idealism and wanting that soul connection.

Of course, I don't generalize. There are other factors to consider.

In a way, pisces can, but in another way they totally can't. They flee when they feel pinned down, like they think they have it all figured out how it will go between you, and then they have to go away. At first he'd probably soak it up, until he thought about it.

If he's into past lives, that can work. If he's not, he will run for his life. I think I would run for my life if someone said that to me. I'd feel like they had some major romantic delusion that we were meant for each other, and that they would get crazy on me, be really possessive and controlling and weird.

Well, I do have pluto aspects. But I think most people would kind of freak out. It's human nature.

I think a lot of women watch those romantic movies, ya know the ones, because they're ALL the same: Girl (or boy) has guy(girl) platonic friend. One of them is in love with the other, who has no idea. All kinds of stress ensues until the one in love tells the other in some dramatic fashion, only to find out the other one loved them the whole time too, but they just didn't realize it.

In real life, this stuff never happens. In real life, if someone tells you that they love you, when you're only platonic friends, you freak out. You run away because it is scary and it also changes the entire relationship on a dime.

Changing a long-term platonic relationship to a romantic one is very difficult. It, imo, can't be rushed and should unfold slowly and naturally. It is hard and I wish I knew how to do it, so I could tell people.

Cpn,

Are you a guy?

No,Pisces people must be trigged to be on romance. They be trigged by the woman they in love with.
When a pisces man in love you know it. He will be there for you ever. It feels in the soul. I felt it immediately and he also. We knew and I talk as I always did.

Personally - I would express love through a painting or a work of art.
I would prefer to use images, rather than words.
This is how I express love to my Pisces BFF!

Yeah, I think it's quite jolting for someone to switch gears like that.

CPN,

Ok, you're username makes it seem like you could be a male, bc of the 'edgar.' Wow, that pisces could never move on. Sad.

Could I ask you all a general question?
If a persons Sun is conjunct Neptune , does that make them a blend of a Pisces and their own sun?
Thanks so much to anyone who responds

Sun conjunct Neptune would have affinity with Sun in Pisces. They are similar. It's just that Sun in Pisces is more emotional and nurturing. Sun conjunct Neptune is more otherworldly, idealistic, inspirational.

Sometimes, I wonder if western astrologers added Neptune traits to Pisces after Neptune was discovered. Pisces' traits are based on being a mutable watersign. It also could have traits based on its traditional ruler Jupiter.

Modern Astrologer's descriptions of Pisces seems more otherworldy than traditional astrologer's descriptions of Neptune.

Mutable, thanks.

The most wonderful communication I ever had was with a cancer mercury and our mercurys were in exact square. We had beautiful, flowing subtext underneath conversations. We could speak to each other while talking with other people through subtext and feeling. Anyway, I adore playing games like that. I like subtlety and I like indirectness.

I also want to comment on the idea that pisces don't like to be "pinned down", this is very true for me and to be more precise, I don't like to be defined. I could go on about that but, being defined means being trapped in my mind. That is my slipperiness, if you will. Just throwing that in there for no good reason.

Good luck!

diana i agree with you about changing from platonic to romantic, and i also agree that pisces does not like to be pinned down! i can see how the past life thing could be creepy, but it depends probably on who's doing it and how. if you don't believe in past lives it's probably a non-starter!!

as a pisces mooner (female, mind you) i also hate to be pinned down. but that doesn't mean i am shy of love...it's just that the person i love or who loves me has to accept that i need serious time outs, silent conversations, and deep soul connection that trusts me completely...

to make it complicated my leo sun does adore attention ...

where is this pisces person's moon?

this is my experience with a Pisces. Just a back story... we have been friends for 12 yrs- he was the most loving and caring person for me... until he drug me into his head... I have Sun conj Neptune so I understand to a point but this just emotionally messed me up...

he went from telling me he had a concern meeting up with me b/c he thought we would get involved (which implied that he thought about us before hand), to him telling me that he had feelings for me, to proposing/wanting to run off to vegas, then telling me he can't get involved b/c he jumps into relationships too fast but we could still re-discover each other, to ignoring me, to entering into a relationship with someone totally new, to sending me a very non-chalant e-mail like nothing happened, back to being the girl of his dreams, to ignoring me again"

which by the way, he never acted like this to me when we were just friend...

if this doesn't mess with someone's head I don't know what will... I'm still heartbroken from the situation...

Him- Sun in Pisces,
Moon in Taurus opposite of Uranus,
Merc and Mars in Aquarius square Uranus
Venus in Aries opposite of Pluto, trine Neptune

That is exact what I also feel between a male friend to me. My merk/uran/pluto in virgo exact square his merk in SAG...

Thank you everyone for all your interesting comments!

Diana- I think you're probably right. I would freak out if someone said something about past lives to me come to think... I think most people would, regardless of sun sign! You're also right that things don't work the same way as in movies, at all! It's always disappointing to find that out as you grow up haha. I suppose I kind of thought it would unfold naturally and just happen, but it hasn't exactly. Anyway I won't go into a massive descrption of the ins and outs since this isn't the place just wondered if anyone knew any good ways to break this sort of news to a fish... but maybe I shouldn't? Maybe it's better left unsaid? Oh well.
Thanks for everyone's comments anyway, this is really interesting.
