Lioness, I sort of resurrected a relationship that I had twenty three years ago with a Pisces sun/scorp Asc last year.

It was all via the internet because he lives so far away.
We did all this deleting business, and refriending and stuff.

I really thought at one point that it was my 'lost destiny' or something like that.
But, now I see that it wasn't.
It was me just being lonely and wanting someone familiar instead of starting all the way over.

After talking for nearly 11 months I totally realize why it never worked the first time.
We are still friends though, but lesson learned.

Sometimes you just have to go through it to understand it. If that makes any sense.

I have
Mercury 19 Gemini
Venus 14 Gemini
Mars 22 Pisces
Saturn 28 Sagittarius
Uranus 28 Sagittarius
NN 16 Pisces
SN 16 Virgo
Karma 12 Virgo

So Naturally my life is a living hell with SN synastry. But there is only one who can activate that side of me.

I hate the SN right now too. Oh, and people's planets in my 12th house! Although I am over it today.

Thanks!

I just feel I did something in a past life. That's my consolation.

Maybe or maybe it's true that you are supposed to leave your SN behind and trying to hold onto it causes pain.

That could be it Diana. Especially because the person that causes me pain has his Venus and Mars on my SN.

"Yes, I try to leave but I just feel more of 'myself' or more comfortable with people who have connections to my SNode.
It's almost like an effortless belonging."

Yes! The SN connection is like a Lunar connection, that home feeling of belonging.

My SN has squares to Mars, Saturn, Pluto, IC/MC, and so what?!

I love conjunctions there.

You have to bypass your own bullsh!t and see past that to the other person. And love them.
A lot of people can't do that.
They stay mired.

I don't think that we should forget the good sides of our SN signs. Moving on is not to forget the past completely, but to remember the precious lessons while walking away from what is negative.

With Scorpio SN, I should walk away from the darkness and obsession, yet not forget about how precious real intimacy in a relationship is, which is one of Scorpio's lessons.

Look at our synastry, Raspberri
My Mercury is 21 Gem so our Mercury's conjunct
My Venus is 9 Gem
My Sun is Gem 28 so your Saturn/Uranus opposes it.
Your SN is 16 Virgo so my Mercury squares
it.
Your Mars is 22 Pisces so my Mercury (Gem 19) Squares it.

I think(and it seems like you agree) that you and I have a friction.
It is amazing how the chart shows that friction.

Idk, I like SN conjunctions. A lot of people close to me have stuff around my SN. I like the familiarity.

Dont get me wrong.. I liked it also... This guy I fell hard for and fast... The chemistry between us was just awesome...

But now I feel its best to pull away from him.... But it does seem like it would be hard... I feel if I stick around Im only setting my self up for more hurt... Why go through that....

As much as I would love to really work it out with him, I just dont see that ever happening... IDK I guess its just not meant to be... Maybe next life time..

I am not familiar with Mercury square Mars in synastry, Lonake.
Mars(drive) thwarts the other's mind(mercury)

Is there ALWAYS friction with this aspect, Lonake?

Hi Ami,
It's a rough, hair trigger aspect. Doesn't have to be. Maybe look over past synastries and see if it's in any of them to see how it works out with you.
I have Mercury angular (conj the Dsc) so I tend to be very sensitive to its aspects in synastry. Typically it's more active than my Venus in relationships, I need good Mercury Others don't pay as much attention, some can't live without Mars/Venus and keep attracting it. I'm sure you get what I mean.

I find that the south node is drawn to the person's planets conjuncting their node - sort of like "Oh who are you, what are you about, why do I want to know what the mystery is here"

The person with the planet conjuncting the other's south node tries initially to go 'under the radar' because they immediately feel like someone has stepped into their space and sort of spot lighted the area. The planet person feels wary about what exactly the impact/change/awareness will be that this person will throw light on.

Sort of like the personal planet person can sense someone who will be able to discover something about them - and the planet person sheepishly acknowledges with hands up 'Yep, you got me' as in the game is up. Almost like personal planets become like a game to be lived through and the south node person, doesn't know yet what the game is, but the personal planet person feels that they do know the game - and have the planet person's number so to speak.

Most things seem to say that nodal person immediately recognises the planet person but I feel the nodal person recognises 'the elephant in the room' and goes hey what is it about you that I should become cogniant about. The planet person then responds like someone who has gone to a party and thinks oh sh*t that person is going to recognise me and they proceed to sort of try and move around unnoticed. When they are recognised though, they have an obligation to face the south node person, be perused over, until the node person has absorbed the significance of what is the situation of the planet person.

The personal planet person conjuncting the north node of someone will feel - almost grudgingly, 'come on then, lets do what we have to do, what's first on the list' and will have a sense of feeling like they owe some kind of guided tour to the north node person.

The north nodal person conjunct the planet person will be in a kind of daze, within this region of their chart. They will be reasonably enthused but sort of like Dorothy just finding herself in Oz and having no idea what is expected, or what she will become or have to manifest.

When one's own planets conjunct or aspect the nodes there is anxiety in the nodal region. One's own conjunctions to the south node will be like warnings and sort of on a tight leash kind of feeling.

Own conjunctions to the north is like one part of self went through a one hour preparation lecture and is armed with a kit containing maps, sign markers/flags, flares, and is trying their best to give a sufficient tutorial to the nodal aspect of self.

One's own squares to the nodes present with confusion and a tug of war, the results are waged by the positions and orientations of the other personal planets, Vertex and several other points/and predilections.

Another's personal planet in square will play out chiefly through the synastric combinations with the node person's planets etc.

Outer planets won't feel so accountable of the other's south node, and will feel less responsible to assist on the north node.

There is some change to this if the planet is in the planet person's first house etc, then they almost will feel robotic about it for some reason.

If the south node is in the nodal person's 1st house, 4th house then lesser as it goes round to eighth then they will feel 'over it' and short of patience to anything contacting south node and even south node itself.

If there north node is in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, they will attract nodal conjunctions and sextiles that feel beneficial. If north node is in 1st,5th, 7th, and 11th they will despise another's planets conjuncting the north node because they will view the planet person's connection as an insult, a threat, condescending etc. Even if they feel it ultimately beneficial (1st) and a necessary chore (7th).

North Nodes in 4th prefer to have a give and take situation with the planet person contacter, NN in 10th won't acknowledge the conjunction person very well in this area but will be taking notes. NN in 12th, feels compassion and a shy humour for the planet person's obligation to them. NN in 6th will find planet person conjunction fascinating and will feverishly apply themselves and gobble anything that comes their way from the planet person. NN in 8th prefers preambles to everything rather than having to take things on face value - as in they will want the planet person conjuncting to give a synopsis, then the NN will take a step as a result, then the next stage synopsis and the NN will become more entrenched etc etc, ultimately trapping the planet person to some extent. NN in 9th, will likely collect planet conjunction people that have access of can make available some kind of resource on a large scale.

SN in 2nd and 3rd feels sort of embarassed and faintly relieved to get a planet person contact.

SN in 9th, 10, 11th, 12th has a deceptive element and a planet person conjuncting these SNs, once they have been spotlighted, will tend to hone in on the nodal person as one might do if they thought they could dig something up about someone else that would make them feel better about what has been spotlighted about them.
