When some one's personal planets conjunct someone's SN is this someone your suppose to pull away from?
What degree should be used for SN?
What are your thoughts with SN contacts? Including Personal Planets and Asteroids...
Im looking at Gem.. We have alot of SN contacts to each other.. I feel that I got my answers and the best thing to do is move past him.. BUT there is still a piece of me that is torn with that "what if" thought... This is what he has conjunct my SN
venus 4 orbs
mercury 0 orbs
prosperpina 1 0rb
Tyche 6 orb
Valentine 5 orbs This is what I have conjunct his SN
venus 5 orbs (yes both way)
my H5 cusp 4 orbs

Yea you do sometimes feel pulled in the other direction.
I think we need to balance our nodes, to be secure enough in our SN to reach out to our NN for balance.
SN connections give us an anchor when we feel lost in the morass, it's a safe place to visit for comfort, the challenge is to not dwell there.I still think they're good people to have around, imo they shouldn't be cut out, not if you feel a connection.
Maybe see if they have positive aspects or conj to your NN and see if you could build on those connections for your personal growth, in part. Orb, for me I use maybe 0-5. If it's out of sign, then I keep the orbs tighter, in sign then a bit wider. IP: Logged |

Lonake, Don't you think that SOME SN contacts are good in synastry
My Venus is conjunct Eros .
This conjuncts HIS SN(exact)
It is a direct opposition to HIS Neptune which is on his NN.
PS We have not spoken in a while,Lonake. Do you have bad feelings over the fight about the men ?

I do have to admit, this is was one of the best relationships I ever had. The chemistry and what I felt was amazing.. We DID see each other from across a crowded room, and just watch each other for hours until we met... UNTIL I found out it was all a lie, but now thanks to venus rx.. It wasnt just a lie, the feelings were mutual.. I feel so much better knowing I just wasnt used... Now I feel its time to move past him, which I do think will be kinda hard still..
He's not the same person.. Im not the same person....
I do have mixed feelings though.. What if I walk away again, like I did years ago, will I regret it again... IP: Logged |

I have a Scorpio ASC 12 degrees.
I have a Gem Sun--28 degrees, Gem Mercury--21 degrees--in the 8th house  ------------------

The feelings remained it was even harder to get over him, with him calling me.. So as long as we are in contact I will be hoping/wishing for more.. Which probably just wont happen... But truth be told, yeah we will probably stay in contact... I dont see him going totally away.. I dont think he can either... Unless I told him to F-off... lol then he would... but IDK if I can do that either...
Safety zone??? IDK...
But I think I know what rx venus wanted me to learn... Plus what saturn wanted me to figure out...
I now know what I did wrong in the past... Right now Im kinda in the same boat but its reversed... So I guess I understand what I have to do... oooooo.......

Yes, I try to leave but I just feel more of 'myself' or more comfortable with people who have connections to my SNode.
It's almost like an effortless belonging.
With the NNode people and situations I am like a duck out of water.My bf's sun conj my SNode. Like I said, it's a magnet. And not only him, but even my son, my brother, and my father, they are all Scorpio suns as well. I can get along with them with EASE.
My ex FIL was a Taurus, and I felt like everything he said was a lecture, and I could do no right.
Same thing with my last Taurus boss. NON stop lecture, nit picking, just a nightmare! That is what makes my just want to crawl into my SNode and work this all out in my next life.

LOL.... Ok I hear ya... Yeah I am comfortable around him.. More so back then, than now though... But its also in they synastry his sun conjuncts my venus and his moon trines my venus... IDK... I feel that pulling away is the best... I deleted him from my friend list on FB... I wonder how long it will take him to figure it out.... LOL....

No, I don`t think you need to move away from someone with whom you share this familiar South Node contacts generally; but you must not get "stuck" there.

When deep down inside I know we can't.. But I feel bad at the same time, bc I dont want to reject him again like I did 12 years ago... I dont want to wonder forever.... Plus he keeps bringing this up and I feel guilty...

Lioness,I am glad you found something valuable in what I wrote.
I am speaking from experiencing. There is this guy, and my Moon is one degree off his SN.
I got stuck with the WHAT IF big time. This great emotional familiarity I could sense around him probably will always be there, but by now I realized and accepted that our paths are not aligned, though I somehow care for him.

Ooooooo my.... ok this is too weird... Ive been sitting here thinking, about me Gem and Pisces... Its ironic history is "kinda of" repeating itself, but its sort of reversed.. I made a huge mistake 12 years ago... I did the wrong thing... Now making that same mistake is also possible... Only its still confusing.. Bc of Gem being thrown in, makes the mistake easier to make... He was apart of the mistake I made years ago.. Now he's back, and I could make that mistake again....Just because, it seems like its the right thing to do...
but for who?? me?? or him... huuuu...
Funny Gem keeps throwing this mistake in my face, I have felt bad..... It was all because of the hurt he caused...

raspberri... your correct, I did loose myself back then.. Which was part of my mistake.. It went on for years.. Until one day I changed my phone number. Because I just couldnt stand it anymore.... But this time I am stronger.. Even though I feel things... I have NOT allowed him to do those things to me,this time around...
