Oh christ. I had a similar conversation with one of my coworkers who said that astrology was witchcraft, and then I had to end the conversation because 1) I do not believe in a Christian God and 2) it was too heavy a conversation for work lol.Anyway... if you believe in astrology and think it works but feel that "God" or whatever doesn't want you to know about it... why follow "God" then? Clearly, he isn't the only one providing answers, and if God isn't the only one with answers, then he's not God to begin with. Ami is a Christian but believes that since God created the heavens and mapped out our futures for us, then it is okay to look. This makes sense. It doesn't make sense to believe astrology works but then stop practicing it because someone told you that God says its a sin. And back to Lonake: She's right. You can't see past yourself. I know a few people like you. They think everyone is out to get them because they're "jealous" or some nonsense. They lead horrible bitter lives. Think about it logically; what do you have that Lonake can be jealous about? You are a person on the internet. Your existence has little impact on her life. IP: Logged |

i had it recently explained to me that even white magic is a sin and at first i rolled my eyes but it makes sense to me. any kind of practiced magic is a lack of faith, is what it comes down to. astrology is simply a mapping and a way to work WITHIN 'god's will', IMO. therefore i don't see it as witchcraft. Yikes, what's happened to this thread about "South Node Synastry Contacts"??Maybe the discussion about Christianity, the Christian Bible, and astrology could carry on under a topic heading like, "Christianity"? I not sure if it was there, and I missed it.. My SN is in Cancer in my 4th...
Also this guys SN is in Cancer in his 4th
both of our Venus conjuncts each others SN.. My Venus is 4 orbs from his SN.. His Venus is 5 orbs from my SN... Also his Mercury is like 1 orb from my SN... Can you explain this these?? I was immediately drawn to him.. We litterally saw each other from across a crowded room (early evening)(a bar..lol) and locked eyes.. We both watched each other the entire night, in his words ( he was watching me to see what I was all about)
I just knew I had to meet him... I met him near the end of the night. I actually met him in the hour of my Solar Return.. The first meeting Sun is mintues from my Natal Sun..

I know someone who I have DW Sun conjunct SN (0-1 degrees) with. The first time I met him, I thought he was really cute but I'm not sure if the feeling was mutual lol (it was a class critique and he was the guest judge). This was 2 years ago and we didn't have a lot of contact since that time up until last year. He's the best friend of my roommate's boyfriend so now I see him like once a week or something. I know he has expressed sexual interest (as far as "OMG IM IN LOVE" but as mostly a joke).Lioness, I've had that feeling before about someone, but it was DW ASC/Vertex (also MC/IC). yeah when i met the guy i share a SN conjunct moon with (my SN), it was like that. IMMEDIATE sense of recognition/familiarity and lots of eyecontact, heavy flirting. my saturn is also on his SN, AND our nodes are flipped.IP: Logged |

I can tell you a secret.When you meet these SN people, look at your progressed Moon and theirs as well. If you have the P Moon in the same signs as the SN synastry connection... It's very fated. Also your P Moons are to be in opposition to each other. IP: Logged |

SO has Saturn on my SN (I also have it in my natal).
We've got SN conj anti-Vertex, and I've got Saturn on his Vertex. I have no idea when it means. IP: Logged |

Do you know what the Progressed chart is?If you want to go deeper, look at the Davison chart, and see if the synastry connection has any planets there. It will literally tell you why the relationship happened. IP: Logged |

@ Raspberri.. WOW... OMG I never knew that.. My progress moon and venus was at 27 Cancer (both our SN are in Cancer, but it was right on mine) His progressed moon was a 4Aqua
His progressed mercury was right on my SN also. So what 6orbs... An out of sign opposition.
Since we lost touch and reconnected 12 years later I checked our current progressed moons.
My progressed moon is at 28Sag Quinz my SN
My progressed Ic is also conjunt my IC.. His progressed moon is at 19Can 6 orbs from my SN..
our Progressed Composite SN is at 16Can As for Synastry Vertex
My Vertex sq his Saturn..
His Vertex doesnt touch me.. lol
In Davidson... Composite SN is at 16Cancer
NN conjunct Mercury...
