I've been lucky with the Aries I know. I've only known one who lived up somewhat to the bad, and even in her case I'd say she just hid it less than most other people with such personality traits. Though I did hear of one Aries sun/Scorp moon mother a guy was raised by (the guy who encouraged me to get into astrology and with Linda Goodman books), she sounded like a character from a Stephen King movie. (As a result, he avoided anyone with prominent Aries AND Scorpio in their mix, though he knew it wasn't fair, it's just he wouldn't be able to control the fear, especially as his mom had a way to hiding her evil intentions which was probably her Scorpio moon that inspired her to be secretive about it.) I just recalled his story about how his mother ranted about Cher "dressing like a tramp" and asking him if he'd like to see her (the mom, about the same age as Cher) dressed that way (which suddenly strikes me as an awkward question...). He would not, and simply said no...holding back the comment, "Because you don't look good like Cher," which would've been suicide. IP: Logged |

I've known a few 12th house Suns and they've never seen themselves clearly for good or bad. It just has to do with having good communication skills, so you could say "Hey remember when you did this _____________?" and then explain why you didn't like it, and compare it to something they could relate to. It's not necessarily about speaking to them like they're 5, but rather being direct. Direct and aggressive are two different things, but I doubt you'll have to worry about that.
on the money. thank you!

These descriptions remind me of Piscean connotations and have me thinking about the congruence with the sidereal zodiac... particularly the intiitive/conniving bits. IP: Logged |

Because I wasn't talking about synastry (although while we're at it - that too). My point is, when analyzing any sign, explain how the house placement or the aspecting planets influences the bad behavior. Examples: What setting are you (in general) in with these people? How does THAT influence everything? Were you in the same setting with X amount of people you're referring to, or not? How do they compare / differ in behavior? Peculiarities? It's important because lots of people lurk or google and come to Lindaland to learn astrology but more often than not members make sweeping generalizations based on their experiences without backing it up with a theory. If people want to vent about their bad experiences that's completely okay but isn't it the poster's (again, this isn't towards you) responsibility to at least acknowledge that? I want to see other people be good at astrology, but it's the least helpful to say "this sign has a bad habit of cheating." Guess it's just my Gemini / Mars / Virgo IC coming out... IP: Logged | |
