I'd pick Scorpio without a doubt - they fascinate, stimulate, and petrify me all at once!
Sounds like the perfect recipe for Spontaneous Human Combustion - oh wait, I done that already when my Scorpio ex loved me to death (literally - total surrender of self, ahhh ... it was so beautiful), then crucified, and cut and burnt me out his life with a chainsaw and a flamethrower, when I was naughty!!
And don't even start me on the sex - wrong forum anyway haha. Good times

I use to be fascinated by Scorpios......but have dated a bunch of them and quite frankly got them out of my system they no longer fascinate me ha . Now I am fascinated by Aquarius which I seem to attract a lot lately. and yes sex with scorpios was really great but I think with aquarius might be even better LOL.

Good example of aquarius person: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbOp_9VfR6o

I would like to be Aquarius because is the sign of friendship because its REBELLIOUS and pushes to transform outdated systems and ways of living. Because Aquarius truly values its freedom and will fight for it. Because is a brave sign not afraid to be different or of what is different but is curious about what is different and also knows how to be a team player.

That's true (I am a Virgo Moon).

As for the original question: Taurus. For exactly the above reason - I need the calmness. But I would only try it for a short period of time. I don't have influence on my nervousness anyway.

My dad does have moon in virgo, sun in capricorn and he is not nervous at all and this why I like been around him. I am a virgo and I am not nervous, we are both pretty chill. I have sag rising and dad has scorpio rising. My mom is a capricorn with moon in gemini and virgo rising and my god she is anxious and wish she would take pills for her anxiety. Admire her because she is a doctor, high achiever, and humanitarian (venus in Aquarius which my dad also has venus in aquarius) but controlling, perfectionistic and nervous wreck. She is also super cute and that is the side I love about her.

Yeah me too.
Although there is another side to me that just tells it as I see it, no airs and graces - probably comes from the Aquarius Sun, or Virgo Moon.

Both have their place I guess

Yeah, Aquarius tends to sound pretty cool, visionary, and revolutionary.
But then there's the mental prison (would be nice to stop thinking for an hour or two, you know, to sleep or something!), the difficulty handling emotion, the fear of being tied down, the push-pull between being social and anti-social, and at times the many people against you just because you don't kiss the arse of the majority.

I once read that there are more Aquarians than any other sign in the Hall of Fame, but that there are also more Aquarians than any other sign in mental institutions.

Obviously, all of the above could be nothing to do with my Aquarius sun, but I suspect it's connected. It can be lonely too, but you do what's necessary to grow

The guy I am into is an aquarias and what you said "But then there's the mental prison (would be nice to stop thinking for an hour or two, you know, to sleep or something!), the difficulty handling emotion, the fear of being tied down, the push-pull between being social and anti-social, and at times the many people against you just because you don't kiss the arse of the majority" This describes him super well.

He is loner and I love that about him, I think it is hot. I love that he is intellectual and is out there and always reading, I even like that he is afraid of been tied down even though he says he wants a girlfriend but I know he needs his space if he gets one and I think that is cool. This doesn't bother me because we may not be committed but he is super into me and is not seen anyone else and I can care less about labels, just want the love, friendship that will last and the good sex. If this leads to more cool and if it doesn't I would be happy as it is as I feel understood with him like I finally have met someone that I get who meets my needs: having fun by spending time together, talking, exploring or making love, having a real friend who is loyal and you can always count on. If we do not work out which I think we have a good chance he would stay friends with me and that means a lot me. Its like the "defects" of aquarias I can handle well and even help them balance those defects out and it won't be like a huge load on my shoulder but the defects of libra is not a good fit for me. Yes libras are super charming and good looking and make great husbands, are creative, and really smart but sex is not a priority to them and they are not very passionate in bed. The sex is good with Libras but not awesome. They also want to do EVERYTHING with you and don't like been alone and my God do Libras like talking and hearing the sound of their own voice. They also like to fixate on fights. If you have a fight with your libra husband he wants to stay discussing the fight for a long time and if you want to leave for fresh air because some people needs this when fights happen he won't let you go and finds you needing to leave fight to get some alone time unacceptable, do not like this. Libras are however extremely charming making hard to not care a lot about them, good looking, faithful, loyal, and will fight for you if their minds are made up about you. Oh and they are really funny too. If you want a conventional marriage Libra is your man but if you want unconventional marriage I think Aquarius is a better option.

Yes Gem is the butterfly and clingy rotten folks want to tie them down, trap em like,

just to say that they can.
Mercury on DSC relates to being attracted to but also putting across a Mercurial persona, akin to Gemini/Virgo, when in contact with others, esp others one wants to form a close relationship with.

Sadly, to me, it is pronounced "Liar, manipulator, egotistical information hound". What you did during the first page was so typical of being a Gemini. I have no idea why someone would want be one of the twins, then again, you are my opposite. Where I wish to share, because knowledge is power, you wish to hoard to feel indispensable.

That's true, but just having one fire placement isn't enough. I have an Aries ASC, Venus, and Jupiter in Leo, and I still struggle with making decisions (damn you Libra Moon). Also, the fire signs have a tendency to be rude, and I just don't enjoy the "it's all about me" attitude that sometimes pervades their speech. I would hate to be a fire sign because I feel like I would always be saying things without thinking about them. Course, I already have a good amount of water and fire in my chart, so my air is keeping me from ever wanting to create more steam.

Wow, I guess Sags are frank!

I bet you are very productive with such a strong fire influence! I like that Sags are honest and optimistic... do you ever find it hard to face the hard truth?

Those traits sound similar to my Leo sun friend, I wonder if he is Leo moon as well as sun, although he has a string of relationships - always on the hunt, but either they don't live up to his (quite rightly, because he's wonderful!) standard, or they make him feel tied down, so maybe he has Sagittarius moon.

Thank you for explaining Sara, all these answers are helping me learn, I'm loving hearing the personal experiences of people in their signs, I think it may even be more accurate than books, or at least equal in value

P.S. I wish I was more cuddly!

Calmness?? Oh my gosh, my bestest friend in the whole world is a Taurus and he's positively the most agitated person I know, but with incredible eloquence and humour!
If I remember rightly though, he has either Aries rising, or Aries moon, so he may just have too much energy.

But my other friend is also a Taurus, and she does seem very in tune with the status quo, she's very emotional, but yeah, she does have a kind of go-with-the-flow attitude to life, as long as she can have a good rant about it along the way

Ahh I see now, that makes sense.

I feel like people try to do that to me, but only in intimate relationships, and I suspect my fear of it precedes me, and probably attracts that type of person.

I once knew a Gemini Sun, Monkey (in chinese astro), honestly, this guy was like a jack-in-the-box, perpetually seraching for his box and never finding it. He still pops into my life every now and then to say what appear to be the most pointless things, but then I think about it, and there is always some wisdom in what he says.

I think Gemini can be like the Fool card in tarot - innocent, carefree/less, but with an innate knowledge that the universe will support them whatever they do in childlikeness.

Awww, I think Geminis just like to play Bear.
Yes, it can come off as manipulative in certain circumstances, but maybe 'liar' is a bit harsh?

I think things like honesty and integrity go beyond the influence of the stars to the essence of the person and their personal principles.

Any sign can lie and cheat, although some may be more susceptible to it depending on their specific needs as a human and in thei particular environment. We have to consider that life variables have a lot to do with what shapes the person too, and can lead people into behaviour that may not be in their best nature. We all have a dark side, eh?

Have you had a bad experience with a Gemini?

I have with a cancer and a few capricorns, and for this this reason I am wary of them, but I have to remind myself that we can't define a whole group of people by the actions of a few.
But I do think that individual combinations of energies between two people will bring out certain characteristics in each other that may not be the whole truth of the person;, or even present when tehy combine their energy with others.

Man! Relationships are complex! That's why I love them

Totally hear on you on the Libra marriage, but you should be prepared for any 'marriage' to an Aquarian, to not be a 'marriage' at all, not in the conventional sense, e.g. might be goo to forget about about the church, taking of name, signing of contract, etc. Although a pagan handfasting might appeal - you can 'marry' or committ for any period of time you like, like a year, and then have another ceremony if you want to stay together for another amount of time you like. Much freer that way, but also committed and 'official' for your loved ones, and a wee party

Personally, I think I'd get bored with another Aquarian full-time, I need someone to shock, and shock me, to grow with rather than reflect. I haven't gotten that vibe from the Aquarians I've known, I think we may be too similar in some key ways to be a compliment. Sameness is comfortable and cute, but if I wanted that I'd get a dog haha

Ahh yes, the other extreme can be just as difficult to manage.

Where oh where is the balance in all this??!

I've got loads of Libra, and I just feel like I'm on a swing all the time, I am blaming it for this!

I'd be a Leo.
I don't have any fire in me, so I'd like to know what it feels like to be "fiery".
Aries would be fun too.
I like how they are direct and don't beat around the bush.
I really don't like indecisiveness, so that'd be a good deal.

Do you have a lot of Libra Doux?
I think my own vacillation is due to the amount of Libra in me.
It gets boring on the fence though, which leads to rash decisions sometimes!
