I'm not Bruce Lee, but I defended the best I could and delayed the mayhem enough for the cops to arrive. I was beat up pretty good even with my skills because seven vs. one ain't working well.

No. It wasn't love at first sight. I was skeptical for the first day myself. It was a process of discovery, albeit it was highly expedited. Love didn't just magically appear. The same trust issues were raised on both sides and many private questions were asked. I was put under the bright lights of interrogation it wasnt all pleasant.
