Sure, they can be emotional, but deep lasting emotions they have not. Definitely sticking to my earth and water signs from now on no matter how attracted I may be to the fire and air signs. They are just too carefree and footloose; emotionally uninvolved, detached, superficial, easygoing, whatever you want to call it.IP: Logged |

Look at their Moon/Mars/Venus, not just the Sun. No person is only his Sun sign and some people are harder to get to know due to their Sun signs (Scorpios for instance are notoriously hard to get to know and they're water signs, not air). So take the whole picture. Or just go with whatever feels right for you. I usually attract people I get along with.

Yes, and water signs are weepy and whiney; firesigns are selfish and ruthless; and Earthsigns are materialistic and unimaginative. So what`s new? EDIT: not meaning to offend you, but these sweeping generalizations annoy me. Though maybe you are right, and air signs really are not FOR YOU.
Just as water signs are not for me (and I am not even an air sign. lol). What I want to say is that the individual relationship and (in)compatibility always figures in.
As a matter of fact the most loyal people I have ever met have been born under the sign of Aquarius and one with a stellium in Libra. IP: Logged |

You don`t know many people, do you? I am kidding. I have an Aqua-Moon as well, so maybe you can forgive me. But this chance for a bad joke was just too good to let it pass.
AS my Aquarius Dad always sais: "I rather lose a friend, than miss the chance for a (bad) joke." He is kidding. Obviously. As am I. Talking too much? Too much nunsense? Who? Me?

Look at Moon and Mars. I am a Cancer Moon and Mars. Also look at ASC and chart ruler. If it is Pluto, as in my case, it is conjunct the MC. I,also, have a Retro Saturn conjunct the ASC. I have a Gem Sun, Merc and Venus, but I have too much depth, if anything ------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Air signs can be deep though. Depends on their aspects and house placements too, and their whole chart.IP: Logged |

Well, I never thought being impartial was something to be frowned upon. Being able to detach from emotions in order to make reasonable observations in relation to various situations. Trying to inject objectivity into a seemingly subjective world. Keeping things on the surface because not every situation in life requires you to drown in the deafening depths of someone else's unmanageable emotions. Reaching a level of understanding and perspective from a place higher then the clouds where nothing but air thrives.Versatility, freedom of thought and action, universal acceptance and awareness, the ability to communicate in relative terms with the purpose of simplifying what would be highly complicated abstractions. Flexibility, and the ability to experience and live life through prisms. Forever analyzing and interpreting the greater world. Offering clarity and lofty observations from our platform in the Airy skies. Finding solace in our thoughts, and through our impartial nature. Reaching heights of observation and understanding within the upper atmosphere where other elements cannot be found. Airy folk are born ahead of their time, misunderstandings are common. Elusive, confounding, and hard to grasp, it would be best that you, RunAroundScreaming, stick to water and earth as per your personal deductions. Us Airy folk surely are a conundrum. My crush has that, I think it explains why I thought he had a pisces moon at first. He's REALLY nice. Or at least what I've seen of him. I can't see these people or Moon conj. Neptune being sharp tongued like I am and offending someone for the hell of it (I don't, but I can unintentionally very badly.) IP: Logged |

What's the problem? I think Gemini is much more superficial. We do have feelings. Maybe you expect way too much/too demanding. I swear water signs are like this they demand so much from Air signs.IP: Logged |

*bangs head on desk* I have an Aries Sun, Gemini Moon/Venus, and found something last night that I hadn't noticed before: the most powerful element in my chart is water. IP: Logged |

IDK, what's your personal definition of superficial? It's a matter of perspective, IMHO. I have friends who are more God-fearing than I am, but they think of me as "superficial" because I don't focus on more spiritual issues.IP: Logged |

air signs are deep they are just more detached and try to keep things light. personally I feel air signs keep me balance as I don't have air in my chart (just pluto and NN and 7th cusp) but the air people I click with have either fire or water or both in their personal planets or moon.IP: Logged |

No. They're just different to water signs. They find depth on a more intellectual level. No one would be emotionally uninvolved or detached towards their SO (or date) if they had something like Moon conjunct Pluto or Sun/Pluto or Venus/Pluto aspects in synastry. If these aspects were in air ^ they would play out very differently to the same aspects in water... But they would be no less intense. It's just that - when you have basic differences in your personalities - you might not understand exactly what makes the other person tick and what can bring them to that level of intensity. :edit: You know that saying that ... 'the way to a man's heart is through his stomach' or something along those lines. Well you could say that would be accurate for Cancer.. because they can be sentimental about cooking/food (brings back childhood memories - at least for the ones who had a pleasant childhood). Well for air-influenced men.. the saying should be: "The way to a man's heart is through his mind!" If you stimulate his mind.. you'll see the side of him that is deep and affectionate. If you don't - he can be completely disinterested... maybe just as disinterested as a Cancer man would be in a woman who is not at all family oriented - not motherly - not a good cook and so on. Also - stimulating someone's mind.... has no connection to your personal IQ level or how witty you are or how many of your friends think you are an interesting and funny conversationalist.. It is mainly about the interaction between the two of you (Mercury aspects can be important!). You could be Mensa material with several degrees stacked up.. and you could still meet an Aquarius/Gemini/Libra guy who feels "he's just not that into you"... because he's not that into your style of conversation, the topics you approach and the things you personally have to say. If they find you boring intellectually - you are definitely out. Synastry is so significant. You could meet a Gemini guy with Mercury trine yours or in aspect to your Uranus... and then you know it would work! It would be *interesting*. Or you could meet a Gemini guy with a different Merc sign.. who would not give you the time of the day. IP: Logged |

I wouldn't ever call gems deep lol. In any context.Aquarius can be intellectually deep, libras can also, but gems are kinda the type to flutter from one thing to the next... They don't have the persistence to stick to one thing long enough. IP: Logged |

I think really at this point it's more a question of what aspects the planets are making than the actual signs they're in. Any sign can be superficial or deep, if it has aspects leaning in that direction.IP: Logged |
