I have chiron closely conjunct asc in taurus, I dont quite fit in anywhere, I feel like a stranger in a strange land, always a little different than a "normal" human. No matter how many poeple think Im pretty, I feel very uncomfortable in my body and very self concious. I feel like an alien in human skin that is only pretending to be normal. Im not afraid of death or ceasing to exist like most people as I understand the ephemirial nature of life and the universe. Im deeply empathic and I think I tend to feel all the pain in the world. I suffer so therefor I am.IP: Logged |

I experience all my 1st house planets (Neptune, Sun, Mercury and Venus) very much as a part of my identity; not an outer thing, but very much part of who I am.IP: Logged |

pluto on asc. along with mars and saturn in scorpio in the 1st house. Pluto in the first house You are very out-front and candid, probably not known for your great sense of diplomacy or tact. Your intensity and passionate approach to life are obvious to all who meet you. You are driven to penetrate the superficial and get at the essential. Mars in the first house You have a strong drive to be seen and known -- to communicate yourself to others. Personal appearance (the way you present yourself) is also a motivating factor. Saturn in the first house You are very conservative when it comes to your personal appearance and communications with others. You are impartial and don't play favorites or get overly personal. You probably don't waste words. IP: Logged |

Hi I have Venus conjunct Mercury in the 1st house (Venus is also my chart ruler).I prefer to be gentle in my approach to others, and I am intellectually curious and love to explore different ideas. I am rarely intentionally tactless or undiplomatic as I feel it is important to accept and tolerate people whose views and lifestyles are different from mine, even if I do not agree with them at all. I strongly believe there is no reason to judge or attack people just because you don't see eye to eye with them... how can you judge them when you have not walked in their shoes? Maybe you would be a worse mess than them if you had!!! Maybe they are also "right" from their perspective?? In general I find aggression or overly opinionated personal attacks distasteful, especially when perpetrated by so-called "strong" personalities who mistake their ability to run rough-shod over those who are less confrontational with "being right", "being superior" or "winning". Really it is not that important to crush people! IMO it is much better to state your case and agree to disagree without belittling anyone and leave it at that; OR come to an understanding that leaves everyone with some sense of dignity; OR walk away/not engage on that level if you can't relate! (I am talking about disagreements between normal people here; not condoning perpetrators of abuse or violence which obviously cannot be tolerated). IP: Logged |

I have a shitton of scorpio energy because pluto is in the first house, it's conjunct my moon, and I have an 8th house stellium. My pluto energy alone in the first house is enhanced by it being conjunct my scorpio moon, but the moon is in the second house.I go deep, very very deep. I have to. There is this itch I have for it. I have the abillity to go inside my mind and tease out every single motive for every single action I make in life. The reason behind my actions, and to a large extent, others, are not lost on me. EVERYTHING has a deeper reason and story behind it, and I am so driven to find that. Sometimes at a great cost to myself. The most tangible example I think of right now was when I forayed into drugs some a year ago when I knew it was bad for me, but it was the only way. I could not understand my craving for it unless I went into the craving and examined it from the inside out. It did leave a tad bit of damage but I am better for it. Pluto also makes me having this drawing to "darkness". I am intrinsically a light/bright person in energy (albeit dense), but something about dark energy compells me. I have been in a relationship with someone years ago who was quite dark. I learned he had a demonic spirit bound to him. That made me drawn to him A LOT more (long story). I know I am light, but the dark has this mystic appeal. I know if I went into it, I could be exeedingly powerful. I never will though. The feeling though, it will be there. I romantazise good vs. evil a lot of the time. I transform myself a lot. Internally I am always working on myself, bettering myself. Finding a problem and fixing it from its root. I obsess in a lot of ways with being perfect, or trying to be perfect. I am never good enough. In many ways I learn best by going through great turmoil and transmuting the pain I go through into something new and better. On the outside, I appear mostly the same to most everyone. On the inside, I am not the same person I was last year, and I was not the same that year before. So on and so forth. I greatly resist change, but I know I must change, all the time. There are very few people that I know that can go where I go in my mind. Of the few that I have let in, they are either lost or scared. It confounds them that I can do what I do, and the fact that nothing is unexposed and the awareness I have is frightening because nothing can be ignored or forgotten. It's lonely in many many ways. However I am learning to express this and find the right people who at the very least can handle this of which I so badly need to express. I like relating things to sound and music. This song I feel explains in sound and music my plutonian nature: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t01dYTecfS8 It can be maddening at times. I have been pushed close to scuicide on several occasions because of how much pain I can feel, and how I can be powerless to stop it. It is who I am though, and I would not change it. Mostly because it allows me to wield a lot of power. I do not outwardly admit it, but it's true, I do like having that power. Even if I can't use it. All of this is highly tempered though. My ascendent (libra) keeps this under wraps, and by verbosity (gemini) allows me to hide this nature. I don't like it to be seen.
Awesome post! And cool song. I think people with a strong Pluto can relate, not necessarily only those with Pluto in the 1st.. But at the same time, everyone experiences the planetary energies in a personal way, albeit a similar one. IP: Logged |

Interesting. I need to study this. Thank you Taine. I would like to ask you some questions, too. Does it make your mercury more"gentle". What sign is it in? ------------------ Passion, Lust Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ami ... my Venus/Mercury is in Taurus. And yes, my think my Mercury is quite gentle. I am characteristically polite and soft spoken; I don't mind giving my opinion, but generally I don't try to force it down anyone's throat.IP: Logged |

OK interesting, the Venus softens the Mercury. Thank you so much for that Taine!

Makes sense about the negotiatation. Perfect way to put it! Do you have any quincunx? That is the aspect of transformation when a new whole comes out. I have strong Scorp and strong Gemini which are quincunx. It is an amazing thing to try to meld them but I love it, now that I understand what it is.------------------ Passion, Lust Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

"What I can tell you is that it is a very powerful position and we can go through many transformations (mentally and physically)"This is scaring me. Changes are not always welcome or easy. Most of the time changes are painful. I want my little daughter to have happy, pain free life. I guess intensity what will describe her. She is Scorp Sun with Pluto conj NN in 1st house. When, she has born she had the most penetrating stare. Even Doctors commented on her alertness and stare IP: Logged |

I have Mars, Jupiter, and my Moon in the first. I am new to astrology, so bear with me, I am still trying to figure out these "energies" myself. I think because my Mars is in Pisces, which usually is a bit on the reserved, lazy, and/or creative side, its first house placement makes me more active. I love to be active, am very competitive, etc. I have tons of energy, but from time to time I definitely need to cool off. This part of my personality is very apparent to people. My first house Mars also makes me more argumentative than a Mars in Pisces placement usually would be. I love a good debate, as long as the opposing side doesn't get too invested emotionally (because then I feel what they're feeling, too), or angry (a debate doesn't mean yelling at each other). Then again, I think this might have something to do with a combination of Mercury and Mars rather than just Mars. In terms of arguments, definitely if I am upset with family or a romantic interest/boyfriend, I am going to get mad quickly, react, and move on just as fast. Jupiter is supposedly my strongest planet according to the Pullen method. I don't know how my Jupiter in the first appears and/or affects me, tbh. My moon just makes me very emotionally whimsical, quick to react and be effected by my immediate surroundings. It also makes me quite sensitive, which I would be anyway because my moon is in Pisces. Again, I think people pick up on my emotional nature quickly. My emotions are usually quite obvious. Overall, all of these first-house Pisces placements gives people the impression that I am a bit of a daydreamer, happy-go-lucky, space-case, unreliable, what have you. All of these are true on a superficial level, but dig down deeper and there's much more to me that is quite different than that first, immediate impression. Maybe that's what first house placements are about. To an extent, anyway.

Can you turn that on/off at will? At times I give off a very light presence. If I am by myself though, or am not aware that I need to "keep face" around others, people will sense the pluto. ------------------ It's All Elemental ----- My Chart if relevant IP: Logged |

Hello Ami!I have Sun, Venus and Mercury in the first house. Venus and Mercury are conjunct and both conjunct the ASC. I've read here that planets in the first are supposed to be egocentric? I don't know about that but I've never been told that I was egoistical. I don't feel like these planets are a burden on me. They are me. Maybe it is because my Sun is in the 1st. My Moon on the other hand ( also in Cancer!) is a planet I can't really relate to. It comes and goes. Sometimes I feel very Cancerian (mostly because of transits) but most of the time me and my Moon are like two seperate entities. Probably because it is in the 11th house. IP: Logged |

When you do House Rulers. Hi Coffee you can see which houses "filter" to the 1st house. IOW, the first house will serve the house has that planets ruler on the cusp. So, I wonder if this is a factor. ------------------ Passion,Lust, Desire Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
