Yes, the 12th House is a very weird house. You bring up a brilliant point with the word' Invisible". That is why I love Astrological discussions, as you shed a whole new light on the 12th House, for me, with just one word.

Thanks

It is a strange house for planets to reside. There is almost a feeling of being on a raft in the middle of the open ocean just floating along with no one else around to see what is happening...

Three planets in 12th, Mars and Moon conjunction Jupiter, all in Cancer. Too many planets I think for that house. Very vivid dreams also, don't know if anyone else here has them as well with their 12th house planets?

This is very insightful to read since the last two guys I’ve been in relationships with have 12th house mars.

First guy has 12th house Scorpio mars: meditated, could see ghosts, OBEs.

He was a poor kid in a wealthy area. He told me how some teachers/staff would treat him like scum because of it. His dad would mess with him too like say he was going to show up, and then wouldn’t.

Husband 12th house Virgo Mars: atheist stonner

He told me his birthday’s were never about him. His mom remarried. Her mother in law has the same exact birthday as him. So then it was known that this day is about her. I like his mom well but she has gone some messed up things to project onto him. Husband grows pot with his biological father.

With my 10th house mars. Though I can really bond deeply with the 12th house Mars. The whole lack of direction can drive me nuts since I’m physically so goal oriented. But at least both of these men have Capricorn in their chart, so it could be worse I guess.

My mars is in Sagittarius in the 7H.

Aries rules my 12H.

I can relate to the majority of what's said.

False accusations.
Being overlooked/ ignored.
Depression/ isolation.

Whew.

Mars also conjuncts my NN so although I spend the majority of my time trying to avoid any type of human contact, people are drawn to me and my Libra moon can't help but engage.

I flip flop back and forth all day every day. Imagine the mental/ physical exhaustion..

This is one of the most difficult placements that I have.

i have:
12 house Scorpio Mars
conjunct Scorpio Mercury

and a few degrees away, sits Scorpio Pluto on my ascendant

This is difficult for me because I also have a 3rd house Saturn.

Mars in the 12th house, in any sign, manifests as an overthinker. You are thought driven, calculated [even if not executed properly] you likely have a lot to say and are misunderstood frequently.

Having Mercury here for me only makes this worse, especially in Scorpio.

I have experienced over a decade of childhood abuse & neglect, making my mind a prison, unable to talk about the things that happened to me until I was 25.
My planets in the 12th house are not "repressed" I would argue the opposite in fact, they are the most influencial and potent placements in my entire chart. They rule my chart in both the literal and figurative sense.

Mars in the 12th house in scorpio has made me a detective. I am always trying to get to the bottom of things, frankly--things that don't concern me whatsoever.

I can never let a thought go not fully examined. No action I witness or human psychological behavior will not be analyzed by me. This could be related to the conjunction to Mercury, but Mars is a motivator, and being in the 12th house, encourages you to dig to the source of everything. Scorpio only enhances this energy.

Mars in lighter signs in the 12th house can exaggerate. For example, a Cancer 12th house Mars will be highly emotional, self critical, and the mesh of Anger [Mars] and Hidden Emotions [12th house] you could let your emottions run your life, constantly bursting at the seams to cry, or seclude yourself/hide yourself in order to avoid your feelings.

In Libra, you could be way too focused on other people and abandon your own wants and needs because Mars in Libra in 12th is highly focused on what others are thinking that they aren't saying.

In Aries, anger issues. Can't escape the anger, everything makes you mad. BUT the positive side of this is the sheer will power this placement has, the motivation to do anything or try anything once.

Lots of factors are present here so knowing how your Mars is aspected/sign/decan etc will help you zero in on how it effects you personally, since these are only general statements.
