What are your relationship experiences with 12th house planet people?

Were you able to help them overcome, or was it just a lost cause?

How did you deal with them? How did they affect you?

What were the planets that were in that person's 12th house? Do you also have 12th house planets? How were you able to relate?

My son's father is the only person I know (that I'm aware of) who has any 12th house placements-sun and mars in gemini. I have moon pisces and saturn, chiron annd north node aries in my own.

As a couple we brought out the worst in each other. Once we parted ways-I don't know if I'd say I saved him because you can't save anyone, but you can help people who are ready for change and my role I think was to bring him to the cross roads-where he had to decide weather or not he was going to change. I was a catalyst for that. I learned alot from my experiences with him and he did make it possible for me to become a mom.

Never an easy or fun relationship though, even under the best of circumstances. To this day, if we converse for more than five minutes one of us, usally me-if I'm going to be honest-brings up something that ends up in an argument. But as long as we keep it under five, it's cool.

Hmm sounds intense :>

Is that more of a 12th house thing or more of a synastry issue you guys probably have? Like a hard aspect to something important?

Her 12th House Moon touches my 4th House. My 12th House Venus and Saturn touches her 8th House. Nothing in Composite 12th House. Two typically emotionally secretive and psychologically complex people get together, but learn to understand each other well. Nobody's healing each other, especially after traumatic childhoods (I don't even know whether healing is even possible), but we learn to pair up out of survival to fight against the rest of the world.

He had Saturn in the 12th:

quote:
Guilt looms large with this placement of Saturn although it is generalized rather than specific guilt. It may cause a man to seek penance through solitude, or there may be religious penance in the literal sense resulting in the monk or the nun. It may apparently be involuntary penance as is the case with incarceration; but the man himself chooses this course although he may not consciously believe he will have to pay. It may result in sickness or withdrawal from conscious awareness through drugs, alcohol, or insanity. Or it may be much more subtle and less drastic, as in the case of the man who is always alone and always feels separation from the rest of humanity and the rest of life, no matter how many people he surrounds himself with.
~~By Liz Greene, A New Look at an Old Devil~~

Drugs, gambling to an absurd degree and mental hospitalization on a regular basis.
Even his psychiatrist couldn't see what the real problem was: his *MOM*.
Him full of guilt to her about a failed life while her actions were nothing but a sustaining of that guilt.
He couldn't face that and so besides his escapism he vented the subconscious hate to mom by treating the women in his life like CRAP!
Only when I FELT like crap and we broke up because of that I could come out with this underlying truth. Two times I wrote his mom a letter (gave him a copy) and the very last time (after our definite break up) it was a letter of 4 full pages in which nothing left unsaid. The exact effect of that will prob. always be a mystery (don't want to see him again) but I know I must have opened up something.. (already had with my first letter but obviously not enough) and to me it was also a definite good-bye.

Btw, I have Sun and SN in the 12th.
And my Venus was conjunct his Saturn in the 12th.

I'm sorry, but I'm kinda confused and reading the rest of the thread has been so passé as of late.

Do you mean in synastry, the other person's planet falling in my Twelfth? Or someone with a planet in their Twelfth house?

I don't even know what to look for. Here's the synastry chart.

See anything that would reflect our relationship?

The current man I'm seeing has saturn conjunct sun in 12th.

I'm also a sun in 12th person natally.

What you put up in regards to saturn in 12th has made me really think into this. Thanks for sharing!

It is difficult, least to say. I am still experiencing T Saturn thru my 12th house conjunct sun in Libra...I must say, it does not feel good at all...

I'm friends with someone who has their Mars in the Twelfth, in Cancer, sextile Mercury and trine Jupiter...

F!ck, if he isn't hating the world for what it is, the world is hating him. Often times, both are happening and he winds up finding death appealing, but not wanting to "go through with it".

It's hard dealing with him sometimes, but we're really really close, so I get him through it. He asks me why I stick around sometimes and I tell him I see more than just someone life chews up and spits out.

Would you guys think alot of the issues with 12th house planet people are really just self-manifested? Or becomes self-manifested BECAUSE of the way they choose to deal with issues?

^The Twelfth house deals with things that disrupt or dissociate the personality.

I think they can be self manifested, but it def has to do with how they deal with it. The issues are there, and so is their choice of how to manage them.

I'm a 12th house person (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune). I think the toughest things for us are establishing clear boundaries and a clear sense of direction.

It's very easy for us to lose ourselves in the emotional undercurrents and vibes around us. I think strong 12th house influenced people have a very loose sense of identity. I find myself quickly picking up others' mannerisms and ways of expression, without even realizing it. This does do wonders for me as an actor, but in my everyday life I'd like to be more grounded.

The 12th house person needs to have a very clear and solid sense of self. If not, they are just sort of an aimless vessel. I've read it takes 'individual awareness' to master this house. When you remain an individual instead of having an always boundless sense of self, you can channel the 12th house's energy in positive ways (infinite creativity, compassion, psychic abilities).

Letting go of the victim mentality is also a biggie. I've just realized how much I victimize myself and how it's been setting me up for failure, thus repeating the cycle.

You're dead on with this. The question is..how exactly are we able to do this? It takes awareness but I believe it also takes confidence, esteem to be able to carry out our development.

I also know that I lack alot of confidence and self esteem. I feel helpless when I am facing troubles...I do victimize myself...and everybody close to me says "So do something about it!!!!!!!" and my response would be a blank stare.

How exactly do I do something about it? I'm afraid to approach it and I'm afraid of the "doing" because I am afraid of failure.

That's why I sometimes feel that it's HARD for people to relate to me...it REALLY is...atleast in this aspect.

Someone with 12th house planets vs. someone who does not.

**EDIT** I just realized...I just made myself sound like a victim...again...LOL!!!!

Sorry, It wasn't intended. But it's just something I'm trying to observe and figure out.
