I like them being honest and expressing their true feelings, but I don't like how they just don't pay any attention to the way they word things. ok, you're going to call someone fat... Don't just say it, say it indirectly like "Where did all of the donuts go?" and hten the fat person will know to stop eating. lol

lololol x'D you crack me up!

My all time favourite sign, I'm very proud of my Venus in Sag (although I do kinda wish it was elsewhere, moon maybe). I just love them.

Besides my aunt, I love Sags! I agree that they are very wise, yet incredibly free spirited and easy going.

My last ex has Sagittarius Mars and quite a bit of other Sag influences. Loved how fun loving and sexually adventurous he was .

You know the the way alot of Saggys smile? Yeah! Can totally tell when a guy is a Sag. Leos have bright smiles, sag guys have like bright smiles with a touch of mischief too. Kinda like a half smirk lol. Kinda hot!
And yeah, love the way they act. Positivity is so much more attractive than broody heaviness. <3

My ideal guy would have a venus or moon in Sag (or Taurus). Venus is sag has a nice balance. I never found them dodgy to deal with.

Being an empathic a grounded Sag can be horribly unexciting, because in those moments when I shove my foot down my throat, I automatically feel something has gone wrong. My original goal is then scrapped and the new goal becomes damage control. One great thing about the Sag archetype is the ability to move on, especially while the wounds are fresh. The rest of my chart makes sure that facet of Sag doesn't get much play time for me. At times it feels as though I am walking around permanently cringing while my dumb horse feet clomp around. The only consolation I am able to offer is help gluing all the broken glassware together after the fact (which I promptly drop on the floor 5 min later).

On a positive note, the benefits are amazing. It is difficult to control one's limbs when you are in the thralls of ecstatic trance. I feel as though Sag's awkward side comes from walking around with one foot in heaven. from the top of the mountain, the little things we say and do hold little weight. In my case, it feels like a balancing act between what I see and what I do.

The Sag folks I have met have always been enjoyable, but our paths are always temporarily crossed. Perhaps this is because we tend to devour each other's personalities when we meet. I find myself to be much more Saggy around my fellow centaurs. In fact there is a Jupiter in Leo friend who I was repeatedly kicked out of places with, for being too obnoxious (lots of laughing and singing lol). Sex with Sag has always been quite fun, but ultimately (regardless of the occasion) I feel like enough Sag for one room. In every case, both me and the fellow Sag just kinda decide we have work to do in other areas and part ways. Occasionally we check in with each other, but both of us are completely content without having to hang out as long as life is calling us elsewhere.

I like connecting with Sag, but it is often a huge reflective experience. The scenario tends to burn super bright until we learn whatever it is the other has to teach us. After that, poof!...Next!

hehe

I love your take on it!
Sag here too. It does burn bright and it does burn out fast between 2 Saggies but like you, I don't feel like another Sag really needs me. There are plenty of water and earth signs out there who can benefit from our fire!

When I was arguing with my mother the other night, I yelled at her at one point, that I was exactly like her when she's really, really annoyed. I was pointing out that what was bugging her about me at that point, was something that she also does.

I do love her, though.

I subscribe to Gary Goldscheider's system of astrology (the Secret Language books)...where there are 5 types of each sign. So with Sag there are: Scorpio-Sag Cusp, Sag 1, Sag 2, Sag 3, and Sag-Cap Cusp.

And I get along differently with each type. I like them all, but Sag 1 (late November) people can be a bit harsh sometimes.

As a Capricorn I have no room to talk....

Oh thank you for asking!

I've committed much of the system to memory but have no one to talk about it with!

This book, The Secret Language of Relationships, divides the zodiac into 48 signs and tells you how you get along with each sign. It is so accurate, it's uncanny. So I am a Cap 2 (January 3-9), and my daughter is a Scorpio-Sag (November 17-23.) The name of our relationship is "Never Never Land" because together we are so into philosophy, the occult, finding the meaning of life, that we can lose touch with what other people call "reality."

But since she's still young, we pretty much just act goofy together.

My oldest son is a Sag 2. Our combined thinking is a little more productive, where he has a keen imagination and my Cap instinct comes out to help develop his ideas into something that might sell. Together, pooling our strengths, we are expected to be on top of trends. Indeed, we both like science fiction and futuristic stuff.

Highly recommend the book, it's in just about every bookstore

Very true. And, I tend to get along with Pisces for about 50% of the way and the rest is all shot to hell. Lol. Every Pisces sun is ALWAYS the same story for me, no matter how spiritual and evolved they are. I realize it is not them, but me. The one's I know are 'compassionate' and 'want what is best for me.' I am compassionate, and I want you to find what is best for you and I'll walk with you along the way. I want to love you, all of you, just for who you are. They want to love me, all of me, just for who I am to them...does that make sense? Very, very conditional. I can love someone who is 'nothing to me' so to speak. They, on the other hand, seem to have this problem [with me].

alaz, what you need to remember is you are NOT the sum total of your SUN sign. there are 10 planets in a natal chart and they can be in any one of 12houses.

Next, mercury can only be upto one sign away from your sun sign, venus can only be upto 2signs away from your sun sign.

Remember, planets are modified by signs, where they express are houses and how they express are *aspects*

Basic astrology
Now basically your sun sign is your 'core beliefs, values, ego' and Asc is your physical body, mode of expression and mask and persona that we all wear and hide behind, but definitely not what's going on underneath. What's going on underneath is your Sun sign. Moon sign, house placements and aspects describe your emotional and intuitive responses, also describes your view of your mother, as saturn describes your father by sign and house position.

So, think of a glass milk bottle the bottle is your Asc and your sun the milk, but the milk still has to 'come out' through the glass neck of the milk bottle....

Now aspects within a natal chart represent 'facets' of our personality, because we are all multifaceted beings. What these do is 'break down and compartmentalise' these facets into smaller bite size chunks. This does take quite a lot of self analysis and objectivity to 'see yourself' and why you do certain things and behave in certain ways. Actually it can be quite good therapy...

Remember back to your school days an opposition is 180', square 90', trine 120', and sextile 60' Now challenged aspects are conj (depending on the planets, cos some like each other and some really don't) squares and oppositions. Easy aspects are conj (if the planets get along) eg: Jupiter conj Moon, sextile and trine. Quincunx is inbetween (depending on the planets) causes health strains and unresolved or hard to balance planets/energies.

So the trilogy, Sun Moon and Asc are THE three most important things in a natal chart.

quote:
On the contrary, however, I have known a few Sags to be:
-docile
-passive
-introverted
-unassuming
-conservative
-a bit boring/dull
-go-with-the-flow

...I am SHOCKED and quite honestly disappointed when I learn they are Sags

So if a Saggi has venus in Cappi will be tight with his money and poss workaholic, practical dependable. If he has something in scorpio, will be secretive, stubborn, poss play mind games even, never talk about emotions and could be sulky or moody

Now I was married to a Saggi twice in fact (same man), and I'm taurus, now these two are 150' quincunx signs, not great idea. he has a scorpio moon, was/is a policman, in fact a dectective for 12years propping up a bard and developing an overly dependenat attitude towards drink. Was sulky, moody could go days without talking even....

There are three signs a saggi should stay away from, there opposite sign and the sign either side of the opp sign. ie; taurus and cancer. Why I hear you ask...

Taurus quincunx signs are Sagittarius and Libra
But with Libra they have the same ruler ie: Venus therefore there is a mutual reception going on here. Quincunx themselves are bit like an itch you cant scratch, never quite understand where each other is coming from. Little miss of something missing and can cause health problems if issues not resolved.

Spiritually any connection with another person is a Learning Lesson whatever contact but these quincunxs, people don’t really understand where they have gone wrong. My belief is that people come and out of our lives for a reason, usually there is something we have to teach others and perhaps learn from them anyway.

Taurus earth and fixed; is very practical down to earth, highly sexed, romantic, affectionate sign. It is a fixed sign as is, Scorpio, Aquarius and Leo and ALL the fixed signs are stubborn and dont really like making changes unless it suits them, but usually lots of loyalty and fidelity going on. Taurus has expensive tastes, doesn’t do cheap and cheerful, likes the finer things in life. Likes gardening, cooking, great organiser, secretary, likes methodology. Doesn’t like surprises, likes partners/lovers on an even keel like themselves. Very patient but if you keep pushing will explode in volcanic manner eventually.

Sagittarius is fire and mutable sign, therefore restless wants lots freedom and independence and movement within relationships. Sagittarius the sign of born careerist, teacher and traveller. Very philosophical, broad minded free thinking and duplicitous. ALL the mutable signs can be duplicitous, do as I say but not do as I do! Sagittarius doesn’t usually like being stuck at home doing nurturing it wants to be out having social life and social contact (and drink….) with people and independence.

All fire signs tend to act first and think later. Some Sagg can be bit of thrill of chase me merchants or catch me if you can, cos they like to play the field first and usually quite late for settling down. Taureans won’t understand this need to be out all the time and why they not content like them to be in the family unit. Sagg may well feel bit stuck in a rut and want to do things without partner which will inevitably make Taurus feel insecure and unloved.

Cancer is cardinal and water sign. All water signs play on peoples feelings and probably Scorpio is worst for doing this. All four cardinal signs want to start, initiate projects ie: get things moving, not always great at finishing though. Cancer is like Capricorn shrewd in business and good with money and hanging onto it. Very sensitive, moody (all water signs are) and nostalgic. Very strongly attached to family members, home roots and home and emotional security very important to them. You find a lot of cancerians and water signs in the caring professions, nursing, caring for elderly etc. Like food and cooking.

OK now venus in Saggi is *notoriously* late for settling down as it does enjoy playing the field first. they can be a thrill of the chase me merchants and catch me if you can types. Don't like be stuck at home, like cancer, they want to be *out there* have a laugh and drink with their mates.

Also Saggi belongs to a group of three signs, aries and aquarius are the other two that 'really' do have issues to do with 'freedom and independence' within relationships and always will. That's why water signs are not a good match, espect scorpio, as their response to that statement would probably be,
"Well if you are in a loving and committed relationship, what the B***** hell do you want freedom and independence for!"

My Dad is a Taurus, my Mother a Sadge.

One Sadge cousin was married to a Taurus for years. They almost broke up due to him not moving to their town when he should have - he stayed where he was comfortable, maintaining a long-distance relationship with her once they moved, so that he was working and living in their old area most of the week. They broke up due to something extremely personal, and he encouraged her to find someone else.

do you think your parents 'get each other?'

It helps if the taurus has something in gemini therefore being an opposition, and saggi has something in cappi
