For starters, DayandNight21, I am a pretty nice and encouraging person around here (in 'real life' as well).

I think you must realize at this point that you are obviously taking that statement way too seriously and WAY TOO personally. I find it pretty bizarre that a one phrase statement can get that type of emotional response from you.

100s of people post things here that are actually 'meant' to be rude. I honestly feel in this case, you need to take ownership of your responsiveness, reactivity, sensitivity and seeing ill-intent where none was intended. It doesn't 'come off' as rude, you 'perceived it' as rude just as I 'perceived it' as being lighthearted and not serious. I don't know where you are from, so it could be a social/cultural difference that contributed to it. In any case, passive aggressive is not my cup of tea--when I want to be rude, you will know and you won't have to second guess! Perhaps I could have stated it a bit better, for you. But it really shouldn't have been that serious. I'm completely disinterested in that now, as that reaction really puts me off (with my MC in Cancer, lol).

Go-with-the-flow energy is characteristic of Sags because we're mutable.

The more introverted, conservative Sags are the ones with Capricorn in them.

:::::...Very true. And, I tend to get along with Pisces for about 50% of the way and the rest is all shot to hell. Lol. Every Pisces sun is ALWAYS the same story for me, no matter how spiritual and evolved they are. I realize it is not them, but me. The one's I know are 'compassionate' and 'want what is best for me.' I am compassionate, and I want you to find what is best for you and I'll walk with you along the way. I want to love you, all of you, just for who you are. They want to love me, all of me, just for who I am to them...does that make sense? Very, very conditional. I can love someone who is 'nothing to me' so to speak. They, on the other hand, seem to have this problem [with me].::::

Firewire...I completely get you on this...not just with Pisces, but with every sign. I am also a Sag (Sun, Asc, Mars & Jupiter) and take everyone as they are and will walk beside someone as their friend. People take advantage of this many times and don't understand this about me.

As far as other Sags...it depends on what they have in their chart...I don't get along with every other Sag...sometimes there is too much blunt energy in the room lol.

Most of the time, though, it's a lot of good-natured fun. There is a group I hang out with of mostly Sag suns (5 of us) and it's a blast...adventurous, good fun.

My experience with them is that they are emotionless and pretend that they really are so full of passion. They also play with your feelings for the attention. They seem to very much like attention, good or bad. Bahaha

Wow, you are a supersag! Haha!

The Pisces sun thing, I have yet to understand. We have a lot of empathy for each other, I think and plenty of admiration. But then there is a tipping point that really causes all to spiral downward, which is pretty unfortunate. Don't really have the issue with any other sun that seems to stand out, though.

In terms of being around a ton of sags, the blunt energy can be a bit much, even for me sometimes. I'm very careful about what I say (most of the time, though could be Scorp. Merc) unless I know you really well. I think it is pretty cool to be around similar energy that feels familiar, though I find that the moon sign really does have an impact on the dynamic. I've known quite a few fire suns that have earth moons (mainly Virgo moons) and when in a group, it creates a really, really interesting dynamic, especially if it is a lot of fire energy. It almost tends to 'mute' it a bit, if that makes sense.

As a Capricorn I have no room to talk....

All Saggi and sun signs are different, why because they will ALL have different aspects with will modify the way the sun expresses and then where is houses...

But you could also play around with decanates and dwads for bit more fine tunings.

I am many parts Aries. Both my parents are Sagittarians.

The pluses -- generous with money, likes to go out and have fun (but my dad, having a Scorpio moon, prefers us to have fun with HIM), high morals and good principles I learned a lot from. When I was younger, my dad always bought me general information children's illustrated books which contributed a lot to my mind.

The negatives -- when they start to lecture... I can grow a moustache listening. Also they just let us, the kids, fend for ourselves sometimes (but not with necessities). I can never catch them home, they are always out on a date.

I once had a Sagittarian professor who could not seem to stand me. I found it quite weird then I found out he had a Cap moon. Haha. I also accidentally had an unmeant slip of the tongue to him once, and he must have thought I meant something that I did not. After that he just went cold on me which I did not like -- I found it a tad unfair that he would assume that I meant to disrespect him. But that could just be his moon!

Also... there is also this Sag girl that I cannot stand, now I remember. I hate to call anyone ugly -- but this girl is -- and she THINKS she is so attractive, when she is really just a flirt. I WOULD STAND HER if she didn't bully my Libra friend so much. Being Aries, I cannot stand my friends being attacked -- I just hold back because my Libra friend asks me not to engage, so whatever. I also found it strange that I would not like her, because we are supposedly trine. Perhaps she has a lot of Capricorn planets (no offense to Caps )

My opinion is that this there is good to be found in sagittarians, just as there is in any sign, there are positives and negatives.

this statement is not Saggi speaking, but uranus I feel.
"she got the hell out from under her parents' thumb at a young age"

If she has Aquarius Asc (like myself) and uranus conj sun/moon midpoint. I left home on my 16th birthday...

Sun inconjunct Sun/Nep. Moon inconjunct Venus. Those are the closest synastry aspects.

Why can't you just believe me, Saggi? All I'm trying to communicate is that love trumps it all.

I do believe you hon, it's just curisity being an astrologer, I like to see all the pieces of the jigsaw, not just bits of it...

For a while 'love trumps all' but ya know it doesn't last, maybe 12months, maybe 2years, but after that it turns into somethinng different. Like a close friend and lover, but the 'being in love' diminishes and transmutes.....

would you like some info on those aspects? or shall be leave it?

I know. Not a spring chicken anymore. Nor is this my first relationship with an astrologically "incompatible" person. In fact, all of my long term relationships (including my almost 8 yr relationship with a Pisces man) have been loaded with "stressful" aspects. All lessons. All good lessons. Maturity is on my side now.

Thank you for the offer on aspects info. I'd rather not know. Enjoying the mysteries of the 6-8 combination and letting God in.

Saggi, I'd rather hear about your experiences with your Sag ex. Some Saggies are homebodies who LOVE cooking/eating, lazing around the house and doing nothing while a diligent Taurus or Cancer takes care of them. Then we ask them to kindly take off that apron and whisk them away to an exotic restaurant on the marina as we watch the boats go by. Or something.

My opinion on Sagittarius women are that they are very intimidating, beautiful party girls, I admire/envy them but they seem to occupy a different world than I do.

My opinion on the men is that they are far more "down-to-earth" in the sense that I don't get so intimidated by them. Actually, they strike me as being very approachable, very witty, very unpretentious... and very blunt. You need a thick skin to roll with these guys. But they're my favorite. My boyfriend is a Sagittarius sun/Sagittarius moon and he is the first man to ever understand this quirky Aqua (well... mostly. He still thinks I'm weird, though ).

I have Mars in Sagittarius and while yes it is true I have very firmly held opinions I would NEVER bully anyone. That part I would strongly disagree with, but to each their own (in terms of your opinion on those with this placement).

I have noticed many different types of Sagittarians.

I myself am a Sag, and have been described as textbook Sag:
-outgoing
-intellectual
-adventurous
-life of the party
-highly principled
-bossy/confrontational
-somewhat narcissistic

On the contrary, however, I have known a few Sags to be:
-docile
-passive
-introverted
-unassuming
-conservative
-a bit boring/dull
-go-with-the-flow

...I am SHOCKED and quite honestly disappointed when I learn they are Sags.

What are your experiences of Sag in general? I've noticed many noteworthy celebrities are Sag. Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus.... going back to yesteryear, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Tina Turner, etc. Many people who defined an 'era', so to speak.

Sagittarians ROCK !!! Bossy/confrontational ? I've got almost everything in Sag and I'm neither

Hmm i feel the same way as you when it comes to meeting someone who is shy and docile and the discovering theyre sags! I am shocked and disappointed! lol dunno why. I guess it shakes my belief in astrology a bit in a way.

Anywho'z to answer your question, i never get along with sags very well. I find them too blunt, indifferent/carefree/detached, insensitive, and superficial and flighty, and attention-seeking too! Oh and too dominant and ambitious. lol sorry sorry! But you asked :P

On the other hand, i dont find aries or leo people like that at all. I find them genuine and trustworthy and fun to be around, and not attention seeking in a bad way like sagittarius. I also dont think they are blunt or insensitive.

I am a cancer sun, so probably that's why
And for some reason my leo moon, venus, and mars, dont help :/ ? when they should?

This is vauge. I'm tired of basing astrology just on sun sign generalizations. I've met many different types of Sagittarius Suns, but they all know how to have a good time. As far as the fire suns go, I prefer Leo though. (Maybe thats because I am one).

LOL!

I was JUST talking to my sag friend about this (we both have about 4 or 5 Sag planets). Friend is a Virgo rising, I am a Libra rising. I get pinned as a Scorp. more than she does though, between that and Leo/Cap...except with Leo, I always get the "you aren't bossy enough to be a Leo, you don't like to take control." Only Libras ask me if I am a Libra when meeting/getting to know me.

Haha! No one suspects we are Sags--at all. It's actually funny to us, as we were talking about people who 'think' we are one thing (astrologically or otherwise) and how we respond to their perceptions!
